Your go to fix for a made to order burrito. I've been here several times and my go to order is the Chile Verde w/Beans. Also I add Aquacate "Avocado" and Asadero Cheese. It is not too spicy and the flavor of everything molded together is amazing. This burrito is unrivaled. This place is amazing and the ladies who operate the place are welcoming and accommodating. Ask nicely, and they'll make your burrito exactly as you ask for it. The Barbacoa burrito was our favorite followed closely by the green chile and bean burrito. All was made to order, extremely hot, fresh and flavorful. Don't let the exterior mislead you. This joint rocks! I'm a regular, so I'm not an interloper giving you a thumbnail sketch of the cafe. Typical West Texas hole in the wall joint but .... whoa! Listen up. These are the best burritos between El Paso and DFW. Honest. They might be the tastiest you might ever eat, and I've been eating Mexican food for just shy of 50 years. Awesome. They offer probably 12 different burritos on the menu including brisket, barbacoa, brisket with chili verde, lengua and asado. You cannot miss. I'm going to make a bold statement and say that your next trip on I -20 will be planned around the Burrito Depot's hours. Sweet ladies work here -- it is counter service but tip them. read more

So far this is the best little burrito shack in Pecos. The burritos are fresh and not dry. Pricing is better then most. Very conveniently located just off i-20 to pick up and take to meetings. The green sauce is top notch and full of flavor. read more

I would have given 5 stars, however we were rushed out of the place because they closed at 2:00pm which we didn't know. In their defense, they were all gone within a few minutes of 2:00pm; we know because we sat in our car eating the tastiest piping hot chili verde with beans burritos that we have ever tried! I know, it's a bold statement but here I am four days later and my wife and I are still talking about them. At first I was a little disappointed in the size, but they were actually the appropriate portion. The flavor was out of this world good and they were hard to hold onto because they were so hot. Now I just don't understand how they can serve piping hot food and close within a few minutes. I'm curious as to why they close at 2:00pm. The place is nothing to look at, but if I was on I-20 I would make it a point to grab a burrito from here even if I wasn't hungry because they are that good!
