Clean and friendly place for pizza and beer. We ordered the spicy Italian to go, and tasted the some beers while we waited. The beer was as good as i juice tasted at many other microbreweries, and the pizza was tasty enough for me to eat twice as much as normally do. the square pizza in the togo box was definitely large, but into 8 pieces. The crust is on the thinner style, just like i like it. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful, as were the other patrons. not crowded at all, i place i will return to in the future. read more

Decent beer, on par with other Montana breweries. Food is seriously overpriced though. $25 for a 16" pizza that's very thin on toppings. Pizza was overcooked and underloved! Parmesan and chili flakes were presented as 1 single-serving packet each, for the whole pizza. This was a pleasant surprise. We have been in the Ennis area for a few years now, and we're in the mood for pizza and beer. We had driven by the Burnt Tree Brewery many times, and this time we stopped for dinner. As we walked in, we noted that it was pretty small. Order at the bar. They have pizza and beer. And I think I saw a Salad on the menu. You can only order one size pizza, but there are several types from Marguerite to Vegetarian to Meatlovers. We ordered the Italian Supreme with a yummy fruity IPA. While small on the inside, you can sit upstairs on the roof top, or on the outside patio. The pizza was excellent and was brought to our table promptly. The pizza sauce was great, and the toppings tasty and plentiful. While sum have reviewed the crust to be overly crispy, we like them that way. Overall a great place to stop for pizza and beer! read more

Atmosphere and service: 5 stars Pizza and beer: 3 stars This is a cheery, cozy place to spend some time when it's too cold and windy wind to do anything outside or on your way back from doing something outside. (During nice weather, the outside rooftop is a great option.) Inside there are a few seats at the counter/bar and about 6 tables. The menu is simple: pizza, pad Thai, or Thai curry. I had the meat lover's pizza and a sampling (flight) of 4 different beers. Is this the coal or wood fired pizza of your dreams (like Blackbird or Sidewall in Bozeman)? No, but it's good. Yes, it's kind of greasy, but in a satisfying way. The crust is crispy, but it lacks the chew of a really great pie. The toppings are generous. The pies are large and mine came to my table piping hot. There are sturdy boxes to take home whatever you don't finish. The beer is just OK. The service was friendly and thoughtful. Even though this is not a rave review, I really did enjoy my meal here. It's got a good vibe that's worth checking out. read more

A great addition to town! Burnt tree makes some of the best beer I have ever had. Spruce Tips, Pub-crawl ESB, farmhouse style ales, IPAs... its all fresh and good. Grab a pitcher and one of their excellent pizza's and head to the roof our out to the beer garden. read more

Great place. Come for the pizza and have a beer. Truly delicious pizzas. The dough is incredible and for the lighter eaters they have great salads. The beer is excellent as well. I ordered the Key West sour and it was great. Highly recommend and be sure to sit on the upstairs patio. read more

Great pizza and beer. They typically don't answer the phone because they're quite busy on the summer, but great bartenders and nice folks.

My entire family got extremely sick after eating at this diabolical restaurant, the service is mediocre at best all the employees have a chip on there shoulder and seem unhappy. The food was disturbing we ordered 3 pizzas and 2 salads. It was immediately clear the salads were made out of a premade container, the pizzas also seemed the same. I worked at a pizza restaurant in the past for several years and I can 100% tell you this was the worst pizza I've ever had. If I could give a 0 star review I would I understand the circumstances due to covid but this was beyond excusable. read more

Ennis is our second home and we were excited to see a new brewery in town. I was even more surprised that it is the same owner as the gravely bar, so I would have thought "awesome"..... man was I totally disappointed from the first interaction with the bartender/host. He had no clue what was going on and was very rude. He took the menus away a couple times, but asked what we wanted. LOL. The beer list looked great and the upstairs patio was awesome, but the food was on my top 4 worst lists. The pizza took over 45 minutes to come out and it was flat, yeasty and uncooked. I also got a salad that was soaked in salad dressing and the chicken was from a bag. This was not fresh chicken by a long shot. To make it worse, 3 of 5 got food poisoning and had stomach pain the entire next day. So we went from exited to super sad and sick within 24 hours. I would stay far away until someone tests the waters and says something differently about this place! Super sad because it has huge potential and the G bar has always been our favorite. What a wonderful surprise in this tiny town! We were just passing through on our way to another city. We stopped and had a delicious beer and we noticed the other customers eating pizza that looked and smelt delicious! We already had dinner plans for that night but, we made sure to stop on our way back home to enjoy some of that pizza and it did not disappoint! Poor service, unremarkable beers, and the pizza was disappointing. Two of our party ended up with food poisoning after sharing a Margherita pizza. We all ate the same food that day, except for the pizza, so we are fairly confident that's where it originated. The guy working behind the bar and taking orders didn't seem like he had been in the service industry before, and did a poor job all around. I would not eat there again or recommend to friends. It's unfortunate because it seemed to have a lot of potential, and the upstairs deck seating was great. I think with better management, oversight, and staff it could do well. read more
