What an amazing RV park. We were originally only supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 5. The owner is incredibly accommodating and the park is clean clean clean. I saw the owner up and working hard every single morning, afternoon and night! The weather is amazing this time of year here. Not to mention what a cute little town Burns, OR has to offer! Definitely would recommend the RV park whether you are passing through for a night or decide to stay for longer! Thank you Burns RV park for your wonderful hospitality.

My wife and I are full time Rv'rs and found this little Gem of a park just outside Burns , Oregon . I worked for a company that prided themselves on customer service . So when I see quality customer service I take notice ... the park is beautiful... super well maintained and the owners have what it takes to make their guests happy . five stars ... this is our second visit and we will make it point to come back !!!

Needed a way point stop and found this RV park listed for Burns. Decided to give it a go. Not too far off our route. Small but extremely well maintained park. There are only about 50 spots of varying sizes. Some pull throughs but more back ins. All sites have 30/50 amp, water and sewer, a picnic table, free wifi, and plenty of space between sites. Front desk person was extremely friendly. There is a nice grass area for the dogs, a laundry and a bath/shower house. The showers are extremely small but very well kept. The grounds are immaculate, and they do have plenty of shaded spots. Good Verizon service here and they do have a few spots that are good for satellite, including roof mounted. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I have nothing but great things to say about this park!! Sites are clean and well maintained. Amenities are clean and well maintained. The owners put in the work to keep this park a gem and I respect that so much! Everyday they both are out here watering, mowing, weed waking. You name it. They are also incredibly nice!! When she would water with the sprinkler, she made sure my kids knew they were more than welcome to run through it. It seems to be a place most people use as a night stay but we stayed 5 days. Peaceful, clean, and run by great people! Give this place a stay!!!

Just left and I was pleasantly surprised with this campground. Very close to rural downtown and the park itself is cute country and well kept. The workers are polite and proactive. They provided firewood, yard games, and quiet. Big rig friendly spaces. Bottom line, stopping through Burns, give this place a try!

Small but comfortable park. Very nice lady at front desk. Easy in and out with a 45 ft coach and tow. Only used power.

Cheapskates. Worst cancellation policy we've encountered in the 100+ parks we've stayed in. Buyer beware.

She also works on all her equipment herself, while making her little slice of earth come alive with flowers and amenities. She has plans to expand but that will have to wait until she has the time and money to do it right. What I witnessed on Saturday night around nine, we were taking our dogs out for the last time before bed. People were coming to her park broke down (broken water hose) and they came to the park in their tow car, she stayed with them until the wrecker came and set their coach in place and hooked up. Janet, in the info center as you first walk in, was very helpful with brochures and directions and recommendations. We walked around the center, checked out the museum (who knew how many different birds were black with white markings, but each very distinct?), took a bunch of pictures and yes, we were immediately swarmed by mosquitos when we got out of the car. Bring your repellent! We took the short gravel road drive down to Wrights pond, because this is the highest the water has been in 15 years and Janet said there was an abundance of wildlife right by your feet. The rest of them were called, "Wow! Look at that!", birds. If you go in late late May, early June, cover your body and use mosquito repellent where you're exposed. When we arrived, Susan came out of the house to welcome us and showed us our cabin (which they just finished last year). I wanted every experience the ranch had to offer and Tim and Susan did not disappoint. From waking up at sunrise to feed the horses, to witnessing the birth of a calf (they didn't have control over that but a total bonus), fixing fences, riding all day, cattle pushing, taking care of the horses, riding in the back of a truck after a long day, taking care of calves, glorious sunrises and sets, magnificent landscape to wonderful home cooked meals. We would swap stories at the table as I stuffed my mouth with biscuits, steak and homemade jam. I would watch the day break from the loft in our cabin. There was something so comforting and so right to put on the same pair of dusty jeans and boots as I got ready to tackle the day. I never once felt stupid for still not grasping how to cinch my horse by the third day or accidentally splitting up a herd during a push down the mountain. Susan made sure she snapped a photo or got a video during our glory moments. We were all treated like family and it was hard to say goodbye when the time came. I've see so many hot springs strewn with gross litter (including human and pet waste) that it really turns my stomach.** All-natural hot spring pool on an island in the middle of the Malheur River. I visited in mid-July 2015, and had to wade across the fairly swift-moving river to reach the island -- a car wouldn't have made it. To reach the island, follow U.S. 20 east across the bridge over the river at Horseshoe Bend, then take the first left -- a dirt road which winds back along the river. Park on the riverbank and wade across, or (depending on water level) if you have a hardcore rig, drive across. There were two pools: a nice hot one on the island itself, big enough for several people, with a sandy bottom and plenty of flat space nearby on the island for camping. There was also a second pool built into the side of the island on the river itself, which is cooler because of the river water mixing in with the source water. No shade at all on the island (it's high desert), and rattlesnakes in the area. But I still give it 4 stars because of its remote inaccessability -- I guess it used to be a party spot (or maybe still is), but it's difficult enough to access that I can't see how that's possible. I would definitely come here again, and maybe even camp out!
