We've stayed at a lot of places over the year. This is an absolute gem! We easily made reservations and the communication was great. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Its even better than the photos. The accommodations are warm welcoming and clean. The hosts "the Hodge Family" consisting of Shani, Roger and their son Ollie. They are friendly and accommodating. We made a late-notice reservation here and were very happy with the choice. The hosts are very kind and helpful, and the property is unique and well-kept. Food was excellent. We had our own bathroom but it was down the hall, about 20 steps from our room. Would definitely stay here again. read more

This B&B was charming. We were in town from Los Angeles for a small wedding in Burns. The rooms were clean and beautiful and more importantly the hospitality was amazing. The stay included breakfast and it was the best steak and eggs I have had in a while (and I eat this regularly). They even provided personalized menus...too cute. I was going from Coeur d'Alene to Reno and was driving by myself. I was very nervous about driving so far alone. I can't thank the hosts enough! I felt very welcome and felt like I was staying with friends. I had a great time and they relieved my stress from driving. The rooms were very clean and the bedding was new. I have traveled for work for many years and stayed in some of the best hotels in the world. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Bed and Breakfast while passing through town from Southern Oregon to Idaho. The Hines Pine Mill House is magnificent-- from the history, location, and accommodations to the host's welcoming demeanor, everything was exception. My husband commented that the bed was the most comfortable bed that he had ever slept in. The hostess is knowledgeable about the property's history and the surrounding area. We had to be somewhere a few hours away VERY early in the morning (leaving at 4 a.m) and she even offered to have breakfast waiting for us in the refrigerator before we left. This is a MUST stay-at Bed and Breakfast! We look forward to being able to stay there again! read more

We stayed one night at the Hines Pine Mill House in November and loved our stay! The hospitality of the hosts was amazing and the house unique and comfortable. We got to enjoy the common area in the evening (ordered take out pizza from Glory Days) and had breakfast in the dinning room. The Eggs Benedict were amazing! Great conversation, good coffee, and a very cute family running the inn. Best stay for the money. Recommend the room with the private bath - had nice big windows and light. Super comfortable bed. We'll be back next time we are coming through Haines/Burns! read more
