Not very many good Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown so I always make it a point to try the handful that pop up near my neighborhood. Lunch time and the place is empty. I was debating if I just do the drive thru ( a first Chinese drive thru I know of) dine in or to go. I wanted to see the interior so I went in and ordered from the counter. The place is clean and very spartanly decorated aside from the blown up photos of their dishes on the walls. I was greeted warmly by the cashier who took my order as well. I ordered chicken fried rice, egg rolls and hot and sour soup. It didn't take long and my food was ready. Love the fried rice and egg rolls! Not your typical runoff the mill Chinese fried rice where rice were clumped and greasy. It's got carrots, peas, eggs and chunks of chicken. And it has that wok hay aroma. The egg rolls were freshly fried and crispy. The dipping sauce tho came in packets. Was expecting a house made sauce. The downer was the hot and sour soup. It tasted 'old'. It was so salty and 'watery' like it's been reheated several times. And no tofu in it! Don't they always come with chunks or even bits of tofu in it? The carrots and mushrooms looked grey and wilted. Would love to love this place not just because they have good fried rice and egg rolls, good service but also the proximity to my place. But if you're serving soup that doesn't even look remotely like what you're advertising on your flyers, then what good is it? Oh well, thats just one item. Will still give it a go next time.

There was a period of time that seemed like FOREEEEEVER waiting for this place to open! I've come a couple times when it finally opened and my experience was the same both times. For a Chinese eatery, it was impressively tidy, and the prices were unexpectedly more budget friendly than most . As for the food? Simply put It was truly fantastic! The portion sizes were perfect as well. I've certainly discovered my new go-to place....at least for awhile! Something new is always popping up. If you havent tried it, it's on Sunset across from Barley's

Sesame chicken and fried rice

Finally tried this place tonight and decided to use the drive thru versus going inside. One person ahead of us but it didn't take too long. We were greeted quickly after reaching the speaker. Lots of choices on an easy to read menu. I went with the sesame chicken and fried rice for my plate. Total came out to $10. Presented nicely in a tote like bag, Togo menu and a nice takeout container. For the sesame chicken alone, I'd give it 5 , however the fried rice was not cooked all the way thru. It was quite crunchy. I'm not sure if it was just a fluke/off dish tonight so I'll definitely give them another shot. I just don't like the texture of rice not cooked all the way, but the chicken was excellent! The rice is just basic rice fried with no veggies, but they don't up charge you either. Good size portions too! I hope they do well as it's nice to have a drive thru Asian spot so close to home.

Great spot for fast, tasty Chinese food in Henderson! The staff wasn't the friendliest but they just opened and are still working out the kinks..... more confused than rude. The menu has plenty of flavorful options like Mongolian beef and orange chicken that taste fresh and well-seasoned. Generous portions and reasonably priced make it a go-to for both dine-in and the convenient drive-thru. Clean establishment with plenty of seating. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving solid, no-frills Asian comfort food.

Crab rangoons- flat, but tasty

Pros: Made to order food that is fresh tasting and delicious. Drive thru option is a major plus- extremely friendly service with decent wait time. Their brown sauce used in the tofu dish is a very subtle flavor that doesn't overpower the dish-absolutely delish. Texture of the tofu was perfect and the green beans were soft and easy to chew. Cons: Crab Rangoon were tasty but flat. The two of us that had white rice with our entrees both had the same gripe- the rice was too dry. Needs more water when cooking. Perfectly textured rice is a must when eating Asian inspired food!

This place finally opened! It's pretty good. We tried -egg rolls (good) -hot and sour soup (amazingone of the best I've had!) -broccoli chicken (very good) -sesame chicken (super! Sweet and crunchy)

$35 in total

we ordered via drive thru and it did not disappoint!! the chicken skewers are my favorite item here

Wonton Soup

I've been sick with a stomach bug since Christmas. When I'm sick all I want is simple wonton soup but there are so many places that only do wor wonton or have wonton soup on the menu but it's actually wor wonton. When I'm sick I can't handle large chunks of broccoli/carrots/meat and the texture of wet greens and mini corn will make me gag so I've been suffering for 2 days craving wonton soup. This is exactly what I wanted and what I needed. For $3!?!?!! I ordered 2 and sent my son from Centennial Hills to Henderson to pick it up! I haven't had anything to eat for 2 days. I had planned to save the second one for later but it's not going to make it. The first one is already finished. I have family that lives in Henderson and I always have room for a cup of regular wonton soup. I'll be back!

Stopped in to check out the restaurant after I saw that it finally opened. I bought orange chicken w/ fried rice along with chicken skewer and hot & sour soup. The foods were really good with good portion but I wished the hot & sour soup had more sour flavor to it but other than that everything was good. I loved how they added real orange slices to the orange chicken!

Chicken wings - tasted good - sweet chili flavor

We also got the special fried rice (really good but I hate peas) . My wife got a seafood stew of some form. Like $15 and a ton of seafood. My daughter got seafood noodles. Same thing. $15. Tons of seafood. Very herbacious broth. I got brisket noodles. The beef was tender and well seasoned. The noodles here are made in real time while you watch. The are so much better than anything store bought. And the broth was so good it's mostly what I ate. In total we were like $75. We left full and with leftovers. It was nice on the inside and clean. The food however, todays experience made it not worth it at all..

Me and the other girl on the crew decide just to do some take out Chinese food and eat at the hotel. The hotel has a good set up for using their plates and utensils. I found this China Wan Wan on the Yelp and GPS, they looked like they had good food to go. I call in our order, just 2 items, we don't eat a lot like the big guys do. I ordered the Singapore Noodles and the fried Chicken Wings. They said they come spicy with lots of onions and peppers. OK, sounds good to me. We get there and the order is ready, just outta the kitchen. I can feel the heat coming from the bag. Back at the hotel I plate the food on the hotel plates. No reason to be uncivilized and eat outta the boxes! The noodles were hot and had lots of onions in it. I asked for lots of onions. The wings were nice and hot as well, so crispy and nice! We both decided this was enough food along with some beers I had in my room. After dinner, my phone rings ... I guess they guys ran outta money!

It makes me sad to write this because I really loved this place for years. Ive been going since…read morethey were tucked away behind Vons. I think the combo of covid and moving to a larger space put undue pressure on the business because the prices keep going up and the food quality is going way down. I went on Friday for the first time in many months. They had an entirely new menu, with a lot of new items and higher prices. I ordered my favorite, the soft shell crab fried rice. Normally this is amazing but this time it was very bland and the crab was not fresh, at all. This is a shareable item, but $55. Crazy! We also ordered a new duck item. Half duck served crispy. This was a more expensive version of the same exact dish I got there before. Nothing new and nothing fresh as this just tasted bad. I love duck and I had to smother it in sauce to get it down. The only thing that saved the meal was the panang. They always make this well and this time we sprung for the upgraded rib option, which was very good and the only thing that didn't taste in the verge of expiration. The menu is nice and creative but it seems like the same items just not fresh and more expensive. I'm wondering if they just aren't busy enough and holding food longer than they should or using frozen items that you can't get away with passing off as fresh. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. At these pricea and declining quality, there are much better options, which is sad because I really liked this place and have gone so many times over the years.

I went in about 3:30 so I could grab a lunch special for my eventual dinner. The lunch special was a VERY full styrofoam container with friend rice and an entree as well as a generous portion of soup. I played it safe with beef broccoli and was more than happy. I also ordered some egg rolls because I love NY style egg rolls (very big and battered before frying) I believe I ate it over the course of 3 meals and still ended up tossing a bit of the leftovers. I'm guessing that's what makes this restaurant "New York Chinese;" meaning, the diversity. We're old enough now that we can no longer eat much at any one sitting, so we had a lot of leftovers. The Lunch Menu is just $10.75 and includes the crisp nibbles as a starter, a generous serving of rice, a big bowl of soup and the dish of your choice. The Hot and Sour Soup was full of goodies; it was VERY generous. As much as we both liked it, I wasn't able to finish mine. Neither of us could eat all of the rice and entree. I had Kung Pao Chicken and I enjoyed it very much. I don't claim to know "authentic" Chinese food; I just know what I like. My husband had some beef dish and, like me, couldn't finish it. The beef was tender, not dry and tasted good. We will return and, now that we know how big the servings, we'll try to order better and leave less waste. Yes, there is limited seating but there was a steady flow of customers coming in to pick up their take-out orders.
