Not sure who is playing slow, but we can go nowhere. The Marshall must be off today, cause he/she never showed their face. OK there is value here, the price is good, the course is in nice shape. He was cutting grass on several holes as we played and stayed in the way of my (the woman) shots running his very loud diesel engine while I addressed my ball and on 18 as we were putting he continued mowing around the green ! Bottom line ...do not recommend this course for ladies due to lack of restrooms and maintenance guy lack of courtesy for a woman!

This is a subpar municipal AT BEST! The west course was heavily waterlogged, fairways were uncut the bunkers had no sand and the animals were feral. Giant black squirrels kept running around the tee box during my shot (I still hit the fairway). Last piece I want to mention is the price. I was led to believe that I could play the course for $5 (YOUTH ON THE COURSE) but they did not honor that and we wanted to add a cart fee to which they said they don't do here. Not sure where my $75 went but was hopefully donated to a better cause than this sorry establishment.

There hasn't been a bad meal yet, and the service is quite friendly and fast. They set up a large buffet a few times a week and each is themed. So far I've done the Taco night, Stuffed Pork Chop night, Italian night and so on and everything has been fantastic and for a very good price. This is important considering just how much the cost of food has gotten in this current economy. Now I've never been a pork chop person but I do indeed love their stuffed pork chops. That should tell you something. Mary Bell is the woman in charge of the team preparing the dinner service and she's awesome. I've found Mary checking in with patrons in the dining area as well as being one of the folks helping people get their eats on the buffet line with a smile and a quick chat. My folks are there so much that they now seem like old friends. It's a pleasant atmosphere for sure and you will not leave hungry. I'm not lying when I say that I look forward to my next visit to the folks so we can all enjoy the Pine Lakes together again as a family. I'm talking about the dining and not the golfing. I leave that part to my Pop. Additionally there is some really super scenic beauty to be had and I am not one for looking around the surrounding areas when I play, I have enough problems dealing with managing the course and my game. The course superintendent installed a new type of grass that I have never previously played on called 'miniverde ' which is a bent grass hybrid that allows the grass to be cut super low and not burn out in the summer heat. Obviously an expensive undertaking, but that shows true commitment to the 27 hole facility. If the wind along the waterway kicks up, you will experience a whole new type of hazard to say the least. Do yourself a favor and play this course if you get the chance.
