I've always wanted to check the White Rabbit Theater inside GSR and was delighted there was an 18…read moreplus adult magic and illusion show complete with some cabaret and acrobatics! Magic can be corny sometimes, but Chase nails it with his adult themed jokes and playful, silly personality. His beautiful wife Kaileigh leads the cabaret with dancers and also has some tricks also! The audience participation is great. Because it makes the performer look very authentic. Chase had us laughing the whole time, and the magic was impressive. There's a short 15 minute intermission to grab more cocktails for the second half. The show could have been longer, and I'd still be entertained. "Nocturnal" is definitely a show worth seeing when in Reno! If you want something "kid-friendly" they have earlier shows called "That's Magic". I would watch "Nocturnal" again!

It's an intimate little lounge,…read morethey have great craft cocktails, and they have somebody at the bar continuously doing close-up magic. As for the theater . They have two magic shows. Every night, they host "that's magic", which is a family, friendly illusion, and variety show, and then also on Friday and Saturday, they host their late show "nocturnal", which also has amazing illusions, as well as more adult humor, and some very beautiful dancers. Both are hosted by the husband and wife, duo of Chase and. Kayleigh. I saw the "nocturnal" show, and I loved it. . Chase is the MC, and he also does illusions from slieight of hand, to illusions such as cutting a woman from the audience in half without a box, and a great straitjacket, escape, ala, Harry Houdini. The jokes are fast and furious, and definitely adult oriented, there is a lot of interaction with the audience, and bringing audience members on stage. There's never a dull moment. The dancers are beautiful, and yes, a little provocative, but definitely not dirty. The show never slows down. It's a 90 minute show with a 15 minute intermission, and it's entertaining from the beginning until the end. The price for the show is very reasonable, but they get you with both the cocktails, and the snack bar for the theater. I bought a small thing of popcorn, and a 20 ounce soda, and I was out 16 bucks. That's a bit ridiculous. Other than that, the show was amazing. Thank you for a fantastic evening....

Well designed, lots of bars and bathrooms. It's easy to get in and out. Traffic flow is usually not too bad. They do have construction happening for the new arena, which means that parking at the GSR is limited, so be aware on show nights and come a bit early. The bar prices are semi-reasonable. They have beer, canned cocktails, and some wine choices. They also have light snacks for purchase, but no real food options. The primary challenge with this venue is the sound. It's just not great. The echoes are noticeable, and it's often way too loud in here. I always feel like I need my earplugs at this venue. Many reviews tell you how great their show was, and I think they are confusing the show quality with the venue quality. The shows here are great, but that doesn't have anything to do with the venue itself. If you are looking for a top-shelf auditory experience, you might want to consider seeing your show at another venue. If you're okay with some sound imperfections, the Grand Theatre is a perfectly fine venue.

When those dates aren't blocked out. So we end up paying $1000 for the weekend cause they are now not booking just sat to sun in order for us to book we have to book a entire weekend so anyway we pull up and valet is 45 min long but it's fine we wait and just cause it's under my husbands name but my card and my name on the extra person I can't check us in so I have to wait for him to go through valet. Some guy in big old truck by passes everyone and says I don't wanna wait in that line so I'm gonna just give you cash the valet guy says to me we will do anything for cash who cares about the line ????? So than we get to the front to check in and she says yes we can't honor your free rooms when we are almost booked I said you are always booked every weekend and they said well we have events going on and they bring us in more money than you normal people so we prefer them ummm wtf who say that to people checking into your hotel. Now we finally get our room and guess what she wrote the wrong number down so we have to go all the way back down and get the right room wrote on our paper and new keys I just can't with how we have been talked to and treated and them can't even get our room number wrote down right ‍ don't worry we're going me everything fine but this place needs to get shit together

In that regard, this poker room is the best in Reno. The room offers the following locally unique, player-friendly features: 1. A generous 2 dollar an hour comp rate (only Circus Circus offers the same except the 15 hours a week it's 3 dollars per hour). All other rooms offer only 1 dollar/hour. 2. Free player buffet at 9 p.m. (and player guests are allowed to eat too generally if they ask). Other rooms offer just soup and 2 rounds of sandwiches a day OR just sandwiches OR just breakfast pastries/bagels/donuts. 3. An aces cracked rebate of 50 dollars, 5 days a week (Sunday 8 a.m.-Friday 8 a.m.) except during bigger tournament series like the Deepstacks tournament series that occurred in March and the Pot of Gold tournament series occurring this July.. You can't win any side pots and there is a minimum of 40 dollars in the pot. Only Harrah's offers an aces cracked bonus and it's only 20 dollars 1 night a week. And good luck finding a game at Harrah's. 4. The bonus generous bonus hand-seeking policy of any room I've ever seen (ask at the room). This poker room fills seats more efficiently than any other room in town once they become available. The floor runs the games excellently. Dealers are overall the best in town. Many have years of experience including dealing in much larger games and/or WSOP dealing experience. A number of them have excellent senses of humor. All are very professional and NEVER comment on flop texture. Beginning players are treated extremely well and dealers are always helpful, never snobby when explaining how the action proceeds in the game. Typically, the room spreads only 1-2 no limit holdem games, but lately customers have requested and made 2-4 and 3-6 limit holdem games. If you want a game and have the people, they will spread it. The room also spreads private games and will run private tournaments. As the former Hilton hosting a World Poker Tour event, they handle large scale tournaments and multiple tables very well. During larger tournament times, you'll find large limit games. During the Deepstacks tournament, they spread a 3-5 no limit game. With Matusow there, they did a 25-50 no limit holdem game. It's hands down the best place to play poker in Reno. With the numerous conventions that they get, steady tourist traffic comes through. Games run all night sometimes and late into the night every night. The buffet is very good, has food from their normal buffet that isn't always just leftovers, often isn't. Sometimes the spread includes large plates of cheese, fruit and salad. There is always at least 3 trays with bread rolls, often 4 that rotate throughout the night. Food is there and kept warm until 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. It cools a bit later, but it still often edible until 4 a.m. Bonus hands are paid out between 20 and 599 dollars. Any pocket pair or two hole cards that can make a straight flush can be a bonus hand, depending on how recently it was hit it could be 599 or 20. As a general rule, more likely to be hit are the straight flushes, especially below jack high and quads below tens. They also do drawings on Mondays every two hours starting between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for 125 per drawing and they roll over so they have reached as much as 750. You get drawing entries by playing 2 consecutive hours and signing up for a square later. There are up to 169 squares for which to sign up. The room is run by a very good poker player, Charles, that absolutely makes sure players are treated well and feel welcome. It's a part of the culture of the place and makes it the best place to play in Reno. The room offers daily tournaments at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m (no eve tourney Sat). Monthly points leaders share part of a bonus pool, the winner getting 1k and 4 other players winning the additional 1500. M-Th 9 a.m. features a feeder tournament for the 11 a.m. tournament for 20 dollars with rebuys. The tourney is 55 dollars for an entry. I believe there's an add-on of 5 dollars for an additional 33% in chips. There's also a poker player room rate to check out. See the site. All offers can change so it's best to check with the room for current offers. Like almost every local room, it's non-smoking (even 30 feet from the entrance), offers free drink service (gratuity not included), has numerous TVs to watch sports and features a cashier to handle chip buying and cashout transactions. The room is located very closely to the cage and some ATMs near the sports book at the N end of the casino floor. Be sure to swipe in/out to get your comps.

Welcome to Baldinis: Where the worst things happen…read more The only reason they are getting two stars is for the food. DO NOT COME HERE TO GAMBLE AT ALL COSTS. Period. I've been here at least 20 times and every single time they widdle down your money and you will leave with nothing you came in with. Slots are horrible, Keno never hits, not sure about video poker but I'd be willing to bet (with a much better chance at winning than if I were to bet anything here) that the poker is garbage too. Standard service, not anything to write home about. This is clearly a hang out spot for people that are already poor and Baldinis makes good and sure they stay that way. You know how you walk in a casino and hear or see lots of people hitting jackpots? Not this place. Just people chain smoking to calm their anxiety of getting robbed once again by the infamous Baldinis. Terrible casino. They will try and hook you with promotions but they are only to get you to show up and feel like you have a chance at winning something but you will indeed win nothing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Of all the Casinos in Reno/Sparks the places that hit the hardest have proven time and again to be Sierra Sid's (right down the street on McCarran) and Peppermill. I've given this place too many chances to redeem themselves but I always walk out of here irritated. They don't even give you small wins on any of the machines to break you in at even or slightly above. Every machine is the same thing: win slightly less than you're betting to chase a dragon that does not exist. Food is notably priced but again that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. As a Casino this place is more than deserving of a full Zero Stars.
