I wish you could leave a 0 star review honestly. spent 50 dollars on a brand new vape, drove home, pulled it out and it didn't work. so I drove back and the lady tells me I can't exchange it. I used to go here all the time. but you will never see another penny from me. how are you gonna say I can't e something I just spent 50 dollars on 5 minutes ago. The lady working at this location had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. My husband and I went to purchase a new hookah set and she stood at the register texting on her phone. 3 mins later she looked at us and said "do you need something" I replied "no we're just standing here for the hell of it" So she finally walked down to the end of the store and half ass helped us. Apparently cigar/smoke shops don't honor the products they sell...and should have a sign stating buyer beware..after reading others comments about this joint. .. bought a rechargeable juice pen kit yesterday. .today it doesn't work...to bad for me..woman said what do you want me to do about it? I went into Burning Leaf Cigars because I enjoy cigars (I didn't think that was a far fetched idea until I went in). I was half handedly acknowledged by some man who was quick to shadow status above me after I inquired about a specific cigar that I liked. This man did not skip a beat or miss a chance to make me feel unwelcome. I've never experienced this kind of malicious behavior from a clerk before. (and I've had awful ones) I'm sure that the cigars were great, but not worth that kind of berating. I left without even looking around and went down the road to a cigar shop... One for cigar smokers, (not status buyers.) I was so mad about it that i shared my experience with a smoker who was also buying cigars. He informed me that many people have had the same experience with Burning Leaf and shared the stories with me. The only thing good about Burning Leaf was conversing with strangers about hating them. and I plan on doing a lot of that. read more

It is my opinion that you should not try and return a bad cigar here because they know the cigars are bad. I bought cigars at a vendor party for La Aurora's cigars at another store in Plainfield. I received several cigars with mold on them. Some would not stay lit. I brought the cigars back to Burning Leaf and was told to "just wipe it off." And then he said it was not mold just water spots and it was not returnable. He told me to contact La Aurora for a replacement. NEVER will I buy anything from any of Jamal's stores again. Cigars are a luxury and cheaply bought on line at half the price he sells in his store. The owner is a nice guy, but his store manager sh%#S all over his customers. Avoid this place because they do not stand behind their product. It is my opinion that they are selling old sub-standard cigars at premium prices and see their customers as chumps and suckers. Returning a bad cigar is never an issue with honest retailers. Go to the cigar parties, eat the food, but think before you buy.....there are better places to buy from. read more

The Plainfield store is on my way home and I have stopped several times. I have never gotten rude service. The times I have been in the clerks working have been professional and helpful. They are willing to price-match, and they do have a nice selection. read more

I came here several times but I will NOT anymore, the guy who was working was the most rude and inconsiderate person I've had customer service with, me and two friends were just browsing Shisha for hookah and smelling the different flavors when we were rudely told "do all of you need to keep looking at all of them" after that we just walked and the worker mumbled something rude under his breath again. Ill never be coming back here so rude and Idd advise you not to come here if you care about being treated nicely and with respect. read more
