Got an email for collections literally months after I moved out. I literally don't even go to school in Champaign anymore for charges that are untrue. Legit, they just want to steal our money. Also know that there are a few people living there for free and that an employee was seen on camera to look through a student's backpack and after realizing there was no money in it, returned it to the student like they didn't look through it. Entire company is shady. I'm upset. Why am I getting a letter for collections months later after someone new moved in as well. Very unprofessional, very rude to international students especially. They don't respond to your emails and everything they promise is fake. Literally, hated living here. Had the worst time ever. Trash chute is literally miles away. read more

Each time I receive my packages here, it's either in complete disarray, or it's lost. There's barely any communication at all about the packages. One time I found my package laying on the floor and the next I don't have a package at all. My roommate also had difficulties with the assistant manager, who had absolutely terrible customer service. Burnham was fine when my roommate and I first moved in. We were excited to be living in a nice high rise a short distance off of campus. When we moved in the staff was nice as were the maintenance guys. But when my roommate and I walked into a room after asking for hard wood floors, we got carpeted floors. When we asked management about it they said they haven't done the hard wood floors yet. My question is why would you ask us carpet or hardwood if you didn't plan on having it done? That's my first complaint. My second complaint is how long it takes them to process payments. They say that rent is due on the 1st but they do not check their rent drop box and WILL charge you a late fee for them not checking. So make sure you date your checks when dropping them off. Also expect the payments to come out of your account 10 days after rent is due. Third. The fact that there is a cap on the electric bill is nice but my roommate and I were always careful about turning lights off and not having the air on too low. So how did our electric bill go from one month being $12 a piece to our last electric bill being $44 a piece. SCAM. We changed nothing about our habits and intact the last month we lived there both of us were barely there so I'm sure we used LESS electricity but somehow our bill tripled. Fourth. This hardwood floors we were promised, they decided they were going to out them in the second to last month I'd be living there. You know what that meant for me? I had to be kicked out of my room from 7am-7pm because they were redoing my floors for a whole day. They also redid the workout for and it took them almost a month to finish it. So here I am paying for amenities like a workout room, and I don't even get to use it for a whole month. Also I hope you always where clothes in your apartment because maintenance shows up unannounced and knocks twice then will literally come right into your apartment. Burnham may look nice from its outer appearance but let me tell you the past few months have been a NIGHTMARE and I am glad to be far away from that place. read more

They renovate their leasing office once a month, but not the actual apartments. The elevators were out of order very often throughout the semester. If you consider living on the lower floors, think twice. Springfield Avenue will be extremely noisy and you will hear that all from your room. If you are living higher up, they will charge you a lot more every month. By the way, the utilities will never go under the coverage. you will pay for 70 bucks extra on electricity in average during winter. The wifi was awful when we moved in. However, the maintenance service was great and they usually get everything fixed the next day. Overall, it does not worth the money you pay for. read more

My brother was supposed to move in here in the Fall...When the building was finally completed, and he spent 2 months in Savoy with a roommate who caused him to fear to fear for his life as he might've stabbed him up, he was finally able to move in. I received a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR after I move out from 310 for three months. They had never notified me about this debt in any way! I gave them my email, and they never emailed me anything about this debt, which was a move-out fee. They never mentioned that in the lease! DO NOT LIVE HERE read more

For clarification, I wouldn't even give them one star out of five. In short, do NOT live here. There are a lot better options, feel free to contact me if you'd like any other place recommendations. In detail: 1- This is the first time I deactivate auto-payment, I have been over-charged for the first few months. I found about it myself, had to do the math for the leasing office. With that, they did not even know how to solve the issue, so I manually deducted it from the upcoming month's rent. 2- On move in day, I was assigned a room that was nothing like I saw before signing the lease. The room was a mess. I wouldn't even pay 400$ to stay in it. After a lot of negotiation back and forth, we were moved to a different apartment. That did result in other issues though. 3- The manager and her assistant are both extremely rude. After they take an action AGAINST their word that they promised, they feel like they have the right to scream at your face, and shout non-sense. 4- Half, if not 3/4 of the staff at the building, are extremely rude. 5- After signing the lease, you are not going to have complete privacy until you move out. They knock on your door so loudly as if it is the end of the world and you have to rush downstairs. The experience is extremely traumatizing. 6- Do NOT fall for their promotions / gift cards. They're basically given out after increasing your rent in a way that is equivalent to the gift card they're giving out. 7- They cut-off my Internet (although my balance was fully paid on time), and told me they'd fix it after the weekend (keep in mind our whole education is online now). They then said it is fixed from their side and that I need to contact Pavlov, when the TV screen clearly says, "do not contact Pavlov, contact the leasing office." They are still in denial of this happening, although it did. 8- They rarely reply to emails, unless, they want you to make a payment. Felt like a hell hole, full of racism, rudeness, and invasion of privacy. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Edit: Did contact the manager at the building and the regional manager, both were as unuseful, ignoring emails, and slow to reply. Gave up on everyone working for this apt. building. read more

Also got a mail from a debt collection company five months after i moved out saying i owe burnham 310 money and it will affect my credit history. First of all, I fully cleaned every corner of my room before i moved out in june so i dont know why the carpet and bathroom needed to be recleaned. Secondly and most importantly, i NEVER got any notice regarding this cleaning fee in the form of mail or email from 310. They have my email address and new home address but they never reached out to me about this past due fee by themsleves! How do i know i owe them the cleaning fee? I got a mail yesterday from a debt collection company saying i have to pay burnham 310 in 30 days. Since i've never gotten any notice from the apartment itself, i thought it was a scam so i called 310 and asked if it was true. 310 said they sent out final bill notice to everyone after they moved out so i should have gotten it. I told them i checked my mailbox every week but i never got it. Ok so it's my fault now? The only possible reason is that you probably never mailed me the notice so i never got it. And for important things like this, how could you not email me or call me so you can make sure i know what's happening? You spam my email with all of your renewal ads every week but don't feel the need to sent your resident a past due account notice? This apartment is ridiculous. I think they just want to hand you over to debt collection company so you will have bad debt on you without even noticing it. Please avoid this proprety. read more

This is coming from a resident that only lived here for a semester, and I cannot be happier that I will not be returning in the spring. I usually don't write reviews, but I believe this review truly benefit future residents to come. In this review, I'm going to chronologically list out all the things that went wrong throughout the semester as well as fundamental flaws with this apartment. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom that currently goes for $829. 1. I found Burnham 310 as I was looking for apartments to sublease for the fall semester. My first encounter with management during the sublease process was a very rude guy who answered the phone and could not sound any less happy to be talking to me. I understand that I was trying to complete the sublease during their move-in period, but anytime I would call the office to move my sublease process along, the rude guy would tell me to call back the next day because the one person who could officiate my sublease was busy for the entire day. This lasted for about 2.5 days before I was finally assisted the day before I had to move into the apartment. 2. When I arrived at the apartment the next day I was given a room that smelled like dog pee. The management at Burnham 310 kept insisting that they had the room vacuumed already so there was nothing more they could do about the smell. I would later find out that the previous owner of the room had two cats and 1 dog, and they have tried to give this room to another resident who chose to pay double the price for a studio instead of staying in the room I was assigned to because they couldn't stand the smell either. My mom and I kept complaining to management that there was no way I could move my stuff into the room because it was impossible to breathe, and Burnham 310 insisted they had nowhere else to put me. My mom and I ended up staying in a hotel that night because we weren't left with much of a choice. The next morning, we went to management again and they were finally able to "find" me a more suitable apartment. 3. Burnham 310 also promises a lot that they do not fully deliver on. For example, the promise free printing but they have one printer in their office that is only accessible during office hours. (you also have to bring your own paper) They have a game room, but they keep all the equipment in the office, so once again you can only really use the game room when the office is open. Additionally, the showroom they have is nothing like what most of the apartments look like. Things like the color of the rooms and the fact that there's no TV included in most units are some of the big differences I've noticed. 4. Midway through the semester, as I was getting back to my apartment around 4 am after studying for an exam all night, I get to my apartment door just to find out that the battery in the lock was dead and that I was locked out of my apartment. I called the only number that I could find anywhere for after office hour emergencies. It's important to note that is it the same number as their regular office phone. So, when I called the "emergency number" it went to voicemail because the office was closed, and apparently, I was expected to listen to the entire voicemail, leave a voicemail for the maintenance guy to then return my call whenever he gets to it. This method seems extremely impractical and proved so when I had to wait till the next morning when the office was open to get my lock fixed. All I received for the incident was a simple apology from management. 5. Additionally, the apartment comes with two main elevators and at some point, during the semester, one of the elevators stopped working. It took Burnham 310 over a week to fix the elevator and the elevator continues to break every so often. At one point, both elevators were broken. Keep in mind that the apartment has 18 floors, so this has been the most inconvenient thing to encounter throughout the semester. 6. To make matter worse, I was trapped in one of the broken elevators for about 10 minutes. They manually dropped the elevator I was stuck in on the first floor to the basement, it was one of the scariest experiences I've encountered. Nothing was said to me or done about that situation. 7. Also, let's not forget that I primarily only had hot water for the entirety of the semester even though I put in a maintenance request to fix it, and the maintenance man supposedly did. I would literally have to wait 5 minutes before every shower for my water to warm up. My kitchen also mostly only ever had hot water. 8. To prove how truly ridiculous this whole situation was before I moved out, I went ahead and voiced every concerned/incident listed in this review to someone on the management team and I was given an excuse for each incident and no sort of apology was offered. That was the last straw for me. Overall, for the price point at which the lowest priced room is $799, I would highly not recommend staying at Burnham 310. read more

Paid a visit to the office and talked to the management who claimed that the final account statement was send out via email by their system. Don't know the reason, but the email was never delivered. Sending emails for important communications is a bad idea, especially when it is the only attempt for sending a statement before seeking collections. I'd be much more appreciative if they'd improve the working process by sending out physical mails. What's the point of collecting forwarding mail address upon move-out if it is never utilized? The account manager promised to remove the collection account once fully paid, and the promise was kept. That's why I'm updating my review to 3 stars here. Still, serious improvements are needed in the future to make the tenants happy. read more

I stayed here for a year while I was in graduate school. There was pee in the elevators, trash in the halls, constant noise issues, and a staff that had no clue what was going on. I moved in and was told, "we don't pro-rate rent, so you'll have to pay the full month of August even though you're only staying here for two weeks". My roommate moved in the following weekend and paid pro-rated rent. REALLY? I renewed my lease for the summer to complete grad school, and of course their summer lease wasn't tailored around the University summer session dates in the same way that their typical school year lease was written, so I asked if I could stay an extra week. They told me, "sure, don't worry about it. Just make sure you leave it really clean when you move out." I did so, and hadn't heard from them for about a month, when they sent me a bill. I expected that when they said not to worry about it that there would be no charge for the extra week since I was leaving it clean enough for the next people to move in. They never presented me with a new contract the way a professionally run apartment building should have done, so I expected that I was not having to pay any extra. Not only did they charge pro-rated rent (wait... I thought they didn't do that...), but then charged a full month of parking. After I emailed them about how I didn't think I should have to pay for this (considering I got over charged for August rent, and was not informed of any financial responsibility), they said nothing. At this point, I figured I could move on with my life. Two months later, I GOT SENT TO A BILL COLLECTOR WHO THREATENED TO RUIN MY CREDIT RATING IF I DIDN'T PAY UP!!! The staff has no clue what's going on, and this place is completely overrated... find someplace else and save yourself some pain. read more

I see another review complaining about not getting the deposit back. Here's my experience with the deposit. After I learned that they don't keep promises and are bad with documentation, I knew I had to be aggressive with the deposit. 6/24/2015 Me: It's been 30 days since I moved out, where's my deposit? 6/24/2015 Burnham: You moved out May 22, but our billing system recognizes you moved out May 31. You'd have to wait 30-45 days after the move out date on the billing system. I'll send the request to the account manager anyway. 6/24/2015 Me: Okay here's my new address. [Gives new address.] Also I need a pdf file of my lease, the online system doesn't let me see it after I moved out. 6/24/2015 Burnham: I'm glad you sent us the new address. The address we have on file is the leasing office. Turns out they (1) completely ignored the new address I put in the move out form, or (2) too lazy to put the new address in the system, or (3) the system was faulty and didn't save the address. Same problem with the move in bonus thing. I have to say the guy who replied to my email was polite and friendly though. 6/24/2015: Me: What about the copy of my lease I asked about in the previous email? 6/24/2015: Burnham: Did you request it? I'll ask my manager and get back this afternoon. "Did you request it?" Lesson learned: when emailing the staff only ask one thing at a time or ask multiple questions in separate emails. 6/24/2015 afternoon Me: Following up. 6/25/2015 Me: Any updates? 6/26/2015 Me: Following up. 6/26/2015 Burnham: Here is your lease. [Attached lease.] I had a feeling this was a different staff member who replied because the email was more blunt and did not have that friendly feeling as the previous emails. I'm assuming it's the person who takes care of the leases. This person is slow to respond to email. After 45 days of the move out date recognized by the billing system, I sent them a follow up email. I knew I couldn't rely on them without bugging them. 7/15/2015 Me: You told me to keep in touch. What's the status of my deposit. 7/17/2015 Me: Following up. 7/20/2015 Me: Following up again. 7/20/2015 Burnham: They have been sent out. If by 8/1/2015 you don't get it, email me. And finally I got my deposit check back. In my case, I deposited $99 and they used all of that towards the repair. So technically I got no money back. I'm not sure how much back you'll get if you deposit more than that. The amount they used in my case was understandable. I didn't clean up the room well anyway. The problem with Burnham again is that they are bad at keeping promises, have bad documentation, and bad communication (I decided to email instead of calling them for this so that I have written evidence of everything). I also have to emphasize that some of the staff (office clerks who can't make the decisions) are really nice and friendly. Everytime I go to the office and deal with the clerks, I almost always have a positive experience. Also the maintenance guys are super nice and awesome. They are pleasant to deal with. I'm not so happy with the manager(s) though. And the worst thing is that they can make the decisions and there's nobody that can help me. I was considering emailing the CEO but time passed and I decided not to hold a grudge. (I decided to write here anyway hehehe.) I reported everything to BBB but Burnham doesn't seem to care about what people say there either. I heard the Illinois Attorney General is a good place to get these things resolved. I had a friend who had problems with a different apartment in the pass, tried resolving it and failed. Finally he reported the issue with the Attorney General and, boy, did it get resolved fast. My advice: (1) communicate in writing. If you go to there office or speak with them on the phone, record your conversations. (2) keep bugging them with follow up emails (3) if things go wrong write in Yelp, BBB, and report it to the Attorney General (4) treat the maintenance guys well. They're nice and decent people. For those who are already with Burnham and considering moving out, keep my advice in mind. For those considering moving in, think twice. read more

Living at Burnham has been amazing! The amenities are spectacular and the staff is friendly and always willing to help. The apartment is spacious and has a great view! I moved out out at the end of July, and I haven't got my deposit after two months. So I call them and they asked me to wait for another week. Still, I didn't get it. Then I call them again and they say they are going to reissue my despite. Another week passed, a woman called me that she is going to mail my deposit. After one week there's no sign of my despite, so I have to call them again and got the the answer is that to wait another week. Therefore, I wait. However, there is still nothing there. I called yesterday and the guy told me my deposit check is in the OFFICE !!! SO WHO TOLD ME THE CHECK HAD MAILED? ARE THEY DOING ALL SAME KIND OF THINGS TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS? BURNHAM DONT HAVE TO GIVE BACK THEIR DEPSOT AFTER THEY LEFT. I AM VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINT. So Please take a very careful thought before you are trying to move in. read more

Oh, Burnham... where do I even begin? I 'm not much of a review writer but I wanted to make sure everyone knows what they are committing to when they are signing to live at this 'luxurious high-rise' One of the reasons I decided to live here was the leasing staff. Well that was before they decided to replace everyone with untrained, rude, and unhelpful staff who were absolutely unprofessional when asked for help. I can go ahead and start naming each and every staff and what they had done, but the list will be endless. I have noted every single thing but i will only list a few here: - Rent. The last day to pay for rent is 5th. I ALWAYS hand my check in before 5th and drop in their mailbox if the office is closed. I got an eviction notice and was charged a late fee numerous times. I call and complain but sometimes takes days to get this issue fixed. Will anyone be happy with an eviction notice for the rent that they had paid in full on time? - Office Staff. On Sundays when the leasing managers are not around, it is a disaster. Not only does the staff stay on her phone, face-timing whomever, they sometimes have friends over at the office. I feel like I am walking into an unwelcoming house when I walk into the leasing office for residents. I also locked myself out and asked if someone could help me get in, one of the staff got up, SIGHING OUT LOUD, like i caused an extreme complication in her life. I am sorry I asked during their office hours and they were not helping anyone at the moment? (she was on her phone when I walked in). The managers were there but didn't give a crap. I was shocked when she got promoted to being a community assistant. How professional. - Customer Service. I work in customer service and train employees on basic service etiquette. When you are there to help and assist someone, the managers better make sure the employees are trained and professional because they represent the company. Unfortunately, the current management staff don't seem to share the same values and I was ALWAYS so disappointed and upset trying to resolve anything with the leasing agents. - Mail room. They decided to make it convenient for them to turn a room with shelves into a 'safe' mail room. They basically designate a shelf for every floor and Luxer One sends you a code whenever you get a package. More work for delivery guys, no work for leasing agents. You have to dig through all the packages in there to find yours. - Construction. They are renovating the whole apartment and started their on-going construction last year by replacing the carpet in the living room with hardwood floors. If they really cared, they should have been what a terrible job has been done. Bulging carpets in the rooms, the strings are getting loose and getting caught everywhere I go, empty spots between the vinyl tiles they put on, scratches on the wall they made during the construction.. I've complained numerous times but did they seem to care? no. They also say to secure your pets but how do we secure them when most of the people living in this apartment are students who work/study all day and aren't always home to secure their pets? Do they expect us to lock our animals up all day? Such vague timelines are given for a lot of things. (ex: We will be coming by during the week of 07/30) I emailed them to possibly get a more specific time so I can change MY schedule around, not THEIRS, and their response was never helpful or accommodating. I guess the only good thing to say about Burnham is their maintenance staff. I always had such pleasure working with them. They will make sure whatever you need and whatever needs to be fixed will be in perfect condition before they walk out your door. They were the only reason I decided to give it another try, renewing my lease last year. The worst decision of my life. The quality of living at Burnham has gone down so much and I can only understand why so many people are leaving. All the excellent and state-of-the-art amenities they are offering are still in the process of being built. They will inconvenience you in every way they can to make sure they get these fixed and advertise themselves as the state of the art property. They once told us we cannot use a hallway because they were replacing the hallway floors. Any alternative options given for those who have to leave for school/work? no. They ask who I spoke with when I make complaints. How am I supposed to know when they do not state who I am being assisted with in their email? Thtir attitudes in person and on the phone are the worst. Living in Champaign for many years now, I know what and how leasing companies can be. You can never be 100% satisfied with all living conditions and qualities. There are a lot of pros and cons of living on campus. I have never strongly advised anyone against living anywhere but Burnham. I will make sure to report this to Campus Advantage as I think it is crucial them to know how this property is being managed. read more

I lived at Burnham 310 from 2009-2011 (Spring). I have to say, at first it was very frustrating, the OLD management company made it very hard for a person to enjoy living at Burnham. However, in December 2009 a NEW managment company called Greystar came in and took over and things have improved drastically. I would recommend this place to all my friends, in fact..I have. It's a fun building, not too crazy (LIKE 309 Green St)..the people in the office seem to really care. read more

I just moved in this summer. My unit is located on the lower levels, and the furniture is basically just crap. My bed is NOT EVEN STABLE. There are plenty of holes in my walls. The elevator keeps breaking. There's only 2 elevators for the whole 18 floors. You have to wait 15mins for one elevator during class time (morning). Another thing is the fire alarm, go ask anyone who lived in burnham before, the fire alarm will turn on at like midnight and at random times. This is the worse apartment ever. The manager is extremely rude and the staff are so clueless and stupid. Whenever, there is a problem, the manager will just tell you that "we are not liable for such an issue as in the contract." Read the contract before you sign it!! It is terrible. I give one star because of location, but the leasing office staffs are so irresponsible. There are reasons why the rating is so low. I lived here for two years and I can say that I had the worst experience ever. First, when I moved in, I was supposed to move in to 9th floor but all of sudden they gave me 16th floor room which was such a mess. The room had two large dogs, damaged carpets, wet sofa, broken room/bathroom door. On the very next day, I reported all the problems and requested to change the room but I had to wait endlessly so I decided to settle down and clean up the room by myself. Oh, the office cleaned up the carpet. After two months of waiting and requesting. Second, after a year, my bathroom door did not close or open well. I requested to fix it. The staffs came in several times saying they need parts to order. I waited and waited for almost 7 months, and the door completely fell off. The staffs knew about it and told me to wait for the parts to come. I waited. The door fell on my back while I was washing my face. I called the office and told them about what happened and they fixed it right away saying the part just arrived. I regret how I did not take pictures of all the shits and sue them. Finally, I moved out in July and just got a deposit check that was deducted for nonsense reasons. They claimed there were 4 bags of trash. (I was charged for 2 of them and my roommate was charged for the other 2). I made sure nothing was left in the room but I couldn't argue further because there was no evidence. More annoying matter was carpet. They charged me for "carpet replacement" in the amount of $150.00. I knew the carpet was damaged because we had a dog and the dog damaged the carpet. (It was already damaged before I moved in though). I called in and asked why I was charged for the replacement. And they said, the common area fee is divided between me and my roommate. My roommate just received the check and she got deducted for "carpet cleaning" in the amount of $40. I called them and the staff/manager told me to write in email. I did. No response. I called them again and the different staff read my email and said "so, what is the problem? I am confused." I explained, and now he said the replacement was charged for my private room. wow seriously? I explained what they said previously and now they want me to file a dispute claim to management company. Ok the apartment complex isn't bad to my knowledge and the staff so far isn't bad (I've gone up there a few times) but there's one guys whose a complete jerk. I believe his name is Andrew he's one of the people that answer the phone. Every time I interact with him I have a bad experience. He never seems like he's actually interested in helping you unless your signing a lease. He's never been accommodating or seemed like he was even trying to help you solve your issue. Please never decide to live here. This place is anything, but good. First, you pay an insane amount to even live here. Even though you are paying so high they still manage to have something break every other day. For example, today im on day 2 without any water. Yay for no showers. Puke gets left for a week. Elevators are down every other day. Something always has to be fixed. Not to mention how off-campus this place is. Burnham 310 is one of the best I've seen in Champaign. The apartments are nice, great funiture, close to campus, and I loved the gym. The staff were always friendly and even helped me mount my new tv! I defintely recommend considering B310 when looking for an apartment in Chambana. read more

The people who work here are snobs who add all sorts of charges and crap to your bill then threaten you if you argue with them, even if you have the signed paperwork of the original agreement. read more

They are bad with records and do not keep promises. It has been over a month since I moved out; by now my security deposit should have been mailed to me (or at least should have been notified as to why they are delayed). This is more of a concern now because I have to pay for the carpet and kitchen cleaning I got charged for (which I don't mind, I didn't clean it that well anyways) but if I don't get my security deposit back to pay for the cleaning, then Burnham could report it to a bill collector to affect my credit score. I went in to talk to the leasing office and they couldn't tell me explicitly what was going on. The best they could tell me was that the system was down: kept details to a minimum, didn't tell me since when it was down, didn't tell me when it would be back up, and made other excuses as to why I couldn't get my deposit back. If this system is down I do not understand how the records for current tenants are being kept (so be weary all you who are living there right now). Normally I would be willing to be patient for matters like this but there are horrible reviews online about how Burnham has consistently lied to their tenants about security deposits. (check for yourself on yelp) I have also heard from friends who have lived here that they do not reward referrals at all (even though they advertise that they will be rewarded with giftcards). I am disappointed because I had an overall nice experience living here. The staff were always very friendly and the place was kept clean. However, apartments like Burnham who treat college tenants as oblivious and try to take advantage of their customers is something none of us should have to tolerate. I have my own proof that I paid the office 99$ in security deposit in the form of a money order despite the 'system being down'. Without a clear explanation and proof as to why I do not have my past due security deposit, or a clear date as to when I am going to be receiving the money that belongs to me, I am going to assume that my money is being stolen and I will take this to the Illinois Attorney General. read more

Although there are some people in your office that are helpful, most of the people I have come into contact with have been very rude. Today, I had an employee tell me that the office workers did not have time to take care of my concerns (as a tenant) because they were too busy. She would not pass on my complaint to the manager, or even write it down to leave a note. On top of the extremely rude and poor customer service, when I moved in my apartment was not cleaned at all. My shoes were sticking to the kitchen floor, there were stains on the carpet, the kitchen cabinets were all dirty, the microwave was caked with food from the last tenants, there was trash in the apartment from the previous tenants, and there was writing all over my bedroom window. Even though I recorded all of this on the move in condition form, the management has refused to clean anything. In addition to this, the stairs wells are absolutely disgusting. If you touch the hand rails, you are guaranteed to end up with a disease due to all of the sticky residue. The "top of the line" gym facility is worse than most intercity YMCAs. It is rarely cleaned, noisy, and have limited (broken) equipment. You are paying for a high quality, good community to live in, but you are getting treated horribly, in an unsanitary building. Good Luck if you've signed a lease already. The ONE exception to all of this are the two guys working maintenance. They are pretty cool, and very helpful. read more
