I've only been to this park once so I'm basing this review off one experience. I went to this park this past weekend to participate in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament sponsored by Bank of America. So here are some of my preliminary observations. If I happen to frequent this park more often, I will come back and amend this review to reflect further experiences. First off, it's a double-edged sword to note that this park is really tucked away off the beaten path. I mean, you have to swerve down to winding roads to get close to this place. It's a small park, which doesn't bother me much, but I also feel like the city shouldn't have packed all the different park activities so close to one another. The baseball diamond is like two steps away from the basketball court, which is like two steps away from the tennis court. There is more green space at this park, meaning they could have spread out some of those fields more. When I played in the basketball tournament, I felt like the court was too small and closing in on me. This is a park only for people who live in that neighborhood and it's serviceable for them. This isn't a destination park. read more
