It is primarily a Hispanic graveyard with less than 100 burials. There's no sign at the front gate and there's still plenty of space behind the current graves for additional ones. Despite its remote location, many of the graves are still visited by loved ones leaving behind memorial tokens. Many of the burial sites have a home built and personal touch to them and others have the standard granite headstone. Most of the graves are recent and some date back to the early 20th century. This is definitely a peaceful country cemetery, but civilization is slowly creeping closer.

The tree is massive with a large circumference with branches that extend wide and deep. It has a large tree trunk, which immediately grabs attention. It is important to note that his particular tree was here long before the city of Cedar Park existed as a town. The Heritage Marker near the tree provides an explanation of the historical significance of the oak and its role in Cedar Park's development. The historical marker is thoughtfully done with visitor friendly, easy to read language. It highlights why this tree is important.

I felt the energy of Cedar Park and bought me a house out there. No regrets as it has turned out to be a great investment. This tree is over 400 years old standing at 57 + feet with a span of 80 feet. The trunk is 50+ inches with a circumference of 13 freaking feet! It is majestic people! I have had a love affair with this tree since the first time we met. She is magical and powerful. It is located in the median on Quest Blvd. I love to go and sit under her and just let my thoughts go. In a sense, meditate. Can you imagine how many secrets this tree could tell. I mean being 400 years old an all, ya' gotta know some good tales. Every year during the Christmas Holidays this tree is decorated with over 30,000 lights, and, it is a site to behold! One of the most beautiful things you will ever see. This beautiful Live Oak has free access. The Cedar Park Heritage Society has done a wonderful job at preserving this wonderful tree. But in Marble Falls, I waited 4 weeks. I was able to check in 30 minutes before my appointment. I brought a book and read a chapter. Didn't wait long at all before my number was called. I needed to renew my license, get a new picture and update my address. I was in an out in an hour. I did show up 30 minutes before my appointment, so in all, the whole actual process was 30 minutes. It's a small DMV office, with the nicest friendliest employees. I am so grateful for a smooth visit here. I'm always afraid I'm missing important documents to get a new license. But I had everything I needed, and I was on my way. My picture even came out great. I didn't need to shut them down with my hair, makeup and lighting team to get the perfect picture like some celebrities have to do. Apparently the Texas DMV takes better pictures then the LA DMV's. What makes…read morethis cemetery unique is that there is a Texas historical sign talking about the early pioneers that were here. I suggest reading it in the photos below since it will explain it better than I can. Most of the headstones are from the 20th century and the latest interment was April 2025.
