Library Catalog, it's easy to use and find your soon to be book!

The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The librarian shared you can get as many as 35 books. There are 3 ways to read or listen at Libby, Hoopla and CloudLibrary.

Easy access right off Baghdad & Sonny. Plenty of parking. The ease of returning books and DVDs without having to go in the building is brought me here today. Great option!!

    Whimsical interior signage!

This is one of my favorite local libraries, it's not the biggest but it's definitely warm and homey. Parking is a little inconvenient in that you have to hike in from a lot. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly to boot! While it caters to children readers they don't allow the little ones to overwhelm the adult spaces with noise. I particularly like the fact that the computer terminals and open spaces are kept in good repair, and that they have a decent selection of both books and DVD rentals. Thumbs up for Williamson County's support of these locales. Pro Tip: There's a used book 'store' just outside the library main door, check it out if you're looking for some bargain paperbacks.

    Love the toy area.

While we absolutely love the Leander library, most staff and we love contributing to and checking out seeds from the library. They run great events for all ages but oh my heavens avoid Amber at all costs. She nearly ran my 2yo over with a heavy bookcart, didn't apologize and instead was chastising both of us. It's not like I wasn't chasing down my three toddlers, he was 6 "from me when she nearly ran him over. I literally had to speak to the director to even get an apology. My advice--don't work in a place where small children come for positive experiences if you cannot positively contribute to this culture. We read constantly but will likely frequent another library unless there is some serious training or attitude adjustment.

I got my library card today and turned in my voter registration forms. The ladies at the front desk were both so amazing and friendly. The upstairs area has study spaces and plenty of books. The study rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many great resources to explore and the librarians were so happy to share. There are movie nights events, a silent book club, puzzle fun, and much more. Upstairs there is an area for plant propagation and a car you can complete if you have a plant question. Take a look, it's in a book ! Get you a library card!

You can check out books or music. There's a lot of places to sit in here and I see people sitting and enjoying each other's company. Some people are studying on their laptop. You can check out the availability of your book online and reserve it, and they will put it in a special place for you. However, I love going through and just looking through the books and finding my book myself . There's something special about a book! When the book is due to be returned, they generously text you and ask if they can extend the rental, the avoiding charges for forgetting to return a book! There are events that are held at the library, such as concerts and other gatherings. They are posted in the front of the library. You should go look at them. This has become my new regular place. I am now reading a book series and it's so nice that I don't have to buy the book. I just read a book and I bring it back and I get the next one and in the meantime I'm certain to make a new friend! They have a children's section that just looks amazing. They even have a Jeep in there for the children to play! It is modified to be completely safe. There's no risk here. They have an elevator so you don't have to take the stairs to the second floor if you don't want to. When I was there, they were having a sculpture sale and it was just beautiful sculptures all over the library just wonderful. I highly recommend this library.

While not as grand and without good views, they still have three floors with big windows and a balcony, so it gives me the good vibes of a large library. They have an attached parking garage, which is free (of course, being in Round Rock). The 3rd floor is my favourite as it is very quiet, the people are so locked in that they motivate me to get to work, and there usually aren't children. I have been most impressed by how this library seems so safe. I have seen many people leave their laptops on the table unattended when they go to the restroom, and I rarely see that in such large public spaces in the US. At the PCL (UT's main library, which isn't even open to the public), students' laptops were notoriously snatched within minutes of being left unattended. They close their 2nd and 3rd floors 15 minutes before official closing time. And their restrooms close 30 minutes early. The way they're so pressed about getting people out is nerve-wracking every time because they are not happy if you walk out the 3rd floor door at 5:44pm when the library closes at 6pm. They want you out well in advance of closing. I'll be packing up my stuff a few minutes before 5:45pm while fully standing up and visibly getting ready to leave, and they will still walk up to me and tell me the library is closing. This is just a petty grievance though. I very much appreciate this clean and safe library. Shoutout to the tax-paying residents of Round Rock.

This is the type of structure and experience you'd expect in NYC, London, and the likes. Absolute perfection. I love the way the book sections and categories are divided and set up on various floors. Each floor is crazy spacious with loads of comfortable reading areas, tables, areas for rest, etc. There are private meeting rooms, a cafe, gift shop, an art gallery, rooftop deck with crazy good views of the city and Ladybird Lake, a children's library called 'Wonderland', an events center and so much more. The librarians and staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and not bothered if you need assistance locating a book. They have almost everything you could possibly be looking for to read whether for research or fun. Access to laptops and computers. Lots of charging areas for media and phones. The library is a true marvel. It makes me happy to see and know that ALL are welcome, especially the unhoused who would otherwise not have a place to go in extreme temps. The bathrooms and entire library are spotless and meticulously clean. We're so very lucky to have this amazing library in our city.
