You will sweat! Super fun classes.

Had a great experience! Don't be intimidated anyone can do this! The class was full of a variety of fitness levels. You push yourself and the staff encourage and help you do your best and stay safe. The staff are so motivating and encouraging I loved that. The workout included warmup and circuit rounds with a variety of exercises to create a total body workout, finishing with a burnout! It definitely is a fun and challenging change of pace to my usual gym routine. Very fun environment and lots of team spirit getting everyone dancing and high-fiving! Childcare available for some classes check the website.

When I heard that In-Shape Fitness has childcare facilities, I decided to give it a try. I toured…read morethree different locations and settled on Roseville even though it was further away from my home, because the childcare space was bright, clean and the staff are so friendly. There are always plenty of staff in the childcare for both big kids and babies. I immediately took advantage of the free personal training session on my first visit. I worked with Liz. I clicked with her right away because she specifically cared about MY goals for my fitness. I wanted to turn my health around so that I could increase my healthy lifespan with my two kids. I just had a baby at 40 and was very overweight and incapable of many physical functions that I consider important. In my first month working out with Liz, I gained 6 pounds of muscle and lost 8 pounds of fat. I felt physically strong and capable, but also mentally strong because I was confronting something embarrassing for myself but pushing through. After some months I switched to other trainers because Liz is actually the training boss lol. I had been spoiled... but I was very happy with Eric and Alex who taught me new exercises and were just as knowledgeable and caring as Liz. I stuck with Alex for the rest of my time at In-Shape Roseville. He always estimated my ability just right. He would never give me more than I could do, but also not less. I pushed it every single session and got stronger and stronger. Every session was packed with activity and I felt like my time (and money) was being fully valued. From the moment I would walk into the gym until I left, I was making a huge impact on my health and future. Over six or seven months, I spent between two and six hours at the gym every week. I know for certain that putting in that time gained me years with my kids down the road. Unfortunately I moved out of county and have switched to a new local gym, but I now have a knowledge and skill set to continue on my own. It's no overstatement to say In Shape Roseville changed or even saved my life. Every staff member helped me. Also, every member is nice. There's no awkwardness or feeling fat there. Everyone is super nice and down to earth, all ages and all body types. Special thanks to Carmen, James, Nayel, Eric, the beautiful lady trainer that moved to Nevada and Raymund. Especially for Liz and Alex, I know that I will achieve my fitness goals and live a long healthy life with my family from what you taught me and what you enabled me to prove to myself.

We've been to this In Shape location several times. This is the smaller of the 2 in Roseville, but…read moreit is adequately equipped and mostly nicely appointed. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. There's been a bit of improvements/changes including adding that new weights pulling rug area, and the removable of the 2 walls that used to be there. That's quite a big change and it opened up the space and the gym looks bigger now even though it is the same size. I did a bunch of lifting with free weights and worked out with my wife, and the kids rode spin bikes. We all had a good time. This is a pretty good location, especially when it's quiet and we almost have the whole place to ourselves. One star knocked off for the water that was lukewarm and even cold at times while I was showering. Not sure why it was inconsistent and not hot.

It's very easy to combine training here with life with a newborn or a toddler. There's a wonderful kids' room and a caring team that takes great care of the little ones, so parents can relax, train, and focus on restoring their bodies with peace of mind. The spa area is excellent. There used to be a eucalyptus park that instantly made you fall in love the moment you stepped inside. Unfortunately, it's no longer in use, but the steam room is still absolutely fantastic. There are also great outdoor summer slides and pools for children. Of course, after so many years of visiting this fitness club, it would be nice to see some updates -- renovations, new features, or refreshed spaces. The kids are already very familiar with everything, and it's not as exciting for them anymore. Overall, Villasport remains a fantastic fitness club that meets all essential standards, in my opinion. The group classes are excellent -- special thanks for Body Pump! Incredible trainers and an outstanding class. Highly recommended

Took the body combat class with Carmen and it was a great workout. Carmen was upbeat and gave clear direction even though this was my first body combat class. Let me be very clear…read more.. This is not a gym. This is a full-blown adult activity village. Lifetime Roseville is basically a city with barbells. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if they added a mayor, zip code, and emergency services. You don't just "go work out" here--you enter a whole ecosystem. One minute you're lifting weights, next thing you know you're getting a smoothie, walking past pickleball, hearing children thriving in Kids Academy, someone's swimming laps like they're training for the Olympics, and somehow you're still there three hours later wondering if you technically live there now. And honestly? I love it. This is my home gym, and what makes this place special isn't just how big or nice it is... It's the people. Because let's be honest--fancy equipment is cool and all, but if the staff acts like you're bothering them for existing, the whole vibe dies immediately. That is NOT the case here. The people at Lifetime Roseville are what make this place hit. I was sitting in the cafe one day, just trying to enjoy my food and pretend I was going to make only healthy decisions for the rest of the day, when the general manager came up and asked how my meal was and how my day was going. And it wasn't one of those weird corporate "just checking in" drive-bys either. It was genuine. We ended up talking about the cafe food, and he even gave me some tips on how to increase my protein intake with some of the menu options. Now that right there? That's elite behavior. That's not management. That's gym dad energy. Like sir... thank you for looking out for my gains and my emotional well-being. Now let's talk about front desk royalty: Amber. Listen... if you know, you know. Amber doesn't just check you in. Amber welcomes you like you just got back from deployment, beat cancer, and won the Super Bowl all in the same week. The second you walk in, it's good vibes, smiles, energy, and that "hey where you been?!" kind of warmth that makes you feel like you're not just going to the gym--you're pulling up to see your people. Big hello. Big happiness. Big "let's go get this work" energy. Then when you leave, it's like saying goodbye to your gym bestie. You walk out feeling seen, supported, and slightly more important than when you walked in. And honestly, it's not just Amber. The whole staff here is solid. Cafe staff? Great. Kids Academy? Great. Trainers? Great. Everyone here seems like they actually enjoy being here, and that makes a huge difference. Lifetime Roseville somehow manages to be massive, luxurious, chaotic, productive, social, and weirdly comforting all at once. It's like if a country club, a fitness convention, and a healthy lifestyle fever dream had a baby. And somehow... it works. So if you're wondering if you should join? Yes. Join. Immediately.

In the past year, the community has shown how much they value each other as well. Many members will also motivate each other to be our best, sometimes even helping us get to the next level. What an awesome spot in the Roseville area!…read more I was visiting a friend in Sacramento, and decided to get a workout together on a Sunday morning. She took me to her gym at Positive Impact! There were a few folks there in the morning. Someone was also cleaning the gym too. She was really doing a great job cleaning EVERYTHING. Kudos to her. First off, vibes are immaculate. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so when the lights turn on, it is an awesome setting to be in. High ceilings and a wide array of equipment. Treadmills, assault bikes, box jumps, free weights, barbells, mats, and more. The punchbag set up seem super interesting to me, so definitely interested in seeing them used in action. Classes are available too. I hope timing works out that next time I'm in the area, I can try a class out! A quick glance on their website, looks like they have a free "60-min Body Transformation Game Plan Session" (50 available) as of Mar'23. Definitely a great way to get your foot in the door to see if this spot is for you. Two bathrooms and water fountain available on site. Easy parking in the plaza, which is also a plus. Shoutout to Jenny and Joleen, an awesome mother + daughter combo, for creating this establishment and safe space for folks to improve their lifestyles!

I thought I had done Zumba before- but never anything like this! Tavio made it a whole show and experience.... from featuring guests on stage to dance next to him and help lead - to getting us to bring out our confidence and add our own style and sexiness, to creating a whole dance battle... it was such an epic experience! The Group X room is the biggest I have seen too and it's nice there is a stage so you can get a good view from anywhere in the room. It's a bit of a drive - but we had so much fun we definitely wanna make it at least once a month. I also appreciated that when I reserved my spot and called to add my buddy pass- the worker (I can't remember her name) was very accommodating and helpful. I explained that we were coming from a long way and I just wanted ensure there would be space for us...so she made it happen! Thank you so much! I can't wait to try out more of the features this club offers. All I know is it's the best 24 hr fitness I have been to so far! It is a Super Sport - so that may be why!

Now the bad: the lines for weight machines even on "slow" days put them totally out of reach unless you are cool to wait in line. They sold too many memberships. The Purell containers are empty more than they are full which is a health risk. Periodicallly they play music with so much bass that no amount of loud AirPod play makes it not totally annoying.
