So I've been to 3 EOS locations that include Riverview, Sarasota, and Tampa, Riverview I would say…read moreis pretty solid in that the amount of equipment and amenities are exceptional especially given the low $30 a month fee although you do have to pay $10 for towels which I don't think Is a dealbreaker. I mean someone has to get paid to do the laundry I guess. They have a t bar row machine that I love but my favorite is the one for lateral raises for shoulders which you wont find in Crunch or might be hard pressed to find those anywhere else for that matter. It's nice being in a gym that basically has anything you can think of and more. I also love the deep tissue massage chairs. I can sit in those all day. The temperature in the gym is always perfect too. This gym though is not without its cons. Had a couple personal trainers there and I can't say they were that knowledgeable or helpful. Also when i signed up for a trainer i was asked how much I can afford and that became the agreed upon plan. I probably couldve said less and saved more for all I know. it's like going into a dealership and not really knowing what their true bottom line is. But they do let you suspend it for 1 month and $25 for each additional month if down the line you can't afford it but you will probably get billed 1 more time before the suspension begins. You also can just call the gym to do it. You don't need to provide anything in writing or go through their customer service line which I think is outsourced. Also for some reason the soap dispensers in the showers aren't always full and one of the dispensers looks like a dog ate it. You'll see what I mean lol. At peak times the gym can be fairly crowded especially in the afternoon on weekends. I also think the front desk crew can afford to loosen up and be more engaging. But overall though this a lovely gym with some room for improvement.

Lilian's Unmatched Expertise!…read more The difference between a good trainer and an exceptional coach is the ability to see what others miss, and that's exactly what Lilian does. Training with her at EōS has completely transformed how I move. She has an incredible eye for athletic movement and is constantly correcting your form in real time. Beyond the basics, her advanced coaching, precise cueing, and attention to detail help you get the most out of every single rep. If you're serious about improving your strength, movement, and performance, I highly recommend training with Lilian.

The gym is located on 2nd. story of a business plaza and it's beautiful. You walk in to a reception area with a shiny concrete floors and it opens up to a work out room for most of their classes. I love the variety of equipment. They have kettle bells, dumb bells, bands, HIT and more. Like lots more! They have a separate room for cycling with super comfy bikes and a large pilates room. The instructors are very hands on and very encouraging. Tammi; the pilates instructor is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to correct your moves and encourage. The reformers are very comfortable. The only draw back is there is only 6. So, grab a class early. Classes are by reservation online. You book it a few days before and the accountability start right there. So, no missing class. The students are what I call the variety pack. So, if you are worried about not being fit looking don't worry. This is a place that encourages and you have all sizes and strengths. You can be Mr. Buff and have an amazing challenging workout pushing tires around and swinging ropes or you can have a lighter work out modifying to get you there. Very welcoming I would say. The gym is owned by 3 ladies that have been in the fitness industry for decades and you can tell they are passionate about helping others. What I love is all 3 of them teach and are involved. If you have kiddos they have kid care. The only thing I would change is to add sound absorbing tiles to the pilates room so you can focus more on hearing the teacher vs. the music from the other group classes. Since, it's a new place I would think this is a budget issue that will come in the future. However, this doesn't keep me from coming since the class is amazing and I appreciate them so much. I'm looking forward to taking more classes in the fall.

Some of my close friends live in Brandon, so I convinced them to come with me as this locations offers a one day free trial for local residents, and this location appeared to have great reviews. We visited the gym on a Sunday morning, and both me and my friends were received with such hostility that I apologized for bringing them to that location afterwards. The gentleman at the main desk made comments such as : "Are you actually here for memberships or is this just another tire kicker for you?" And "I don't want to deal with this GymPass crap, just do the daily pass, it's faster". Once he saw my out of state ID, he stated "Oh, you're from Utah? You definitely won't be doing a membership then". Sir, of course I'm from out of State, my employer provides me with Gympass, if you're not familiar how the program works or if you're unhappy with it, you're more than welcome to cancel your enrollment. And if that's the reception you're providing for anyone enrolling under your 1-day pass, maybe it simply shouldn't exist. I'll point this out though, the facility itself is great, with clean machines and plenty of equipment.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with Mateo at the Brandon location was so disappointing that it has me seriously reconsidering my membership. I called regarding an unexpected $65 annual fee on my account. After being informed that it was a yearly charge, I explained that I am returning to school and, because of the demands of my schedule, I would no longer have the time to regularly use the gym. I hoped there might be some understanding or guidance regarding my options. Instead, Mateo's response was simply that I had signed an agreement when I joined and that was the end of the discussion. At no point did he acknowledge my situation or show any interest in helping me find a solution. While he remained calm throughout the conversation, his demeanor came across as condescending, dismissive, and completely indifferent to the concerns of a long-time member. What disappointed me most was not the fee itself, but the complete lack of customer service. I asked several times if this was truly how Crunch wanted to treat a loyal member who fully intended to return after finishing school. Each time, I was met with the same matter-of-fact attitude that made it clear my business and loyalty meant very little. Crunch has built a great gym with excellent equipment, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong community. One trainer, Daniel, who is no longer there actually motivated and guided me through three life-threatening bouts with breast cancer. Even when I couldn't go to the gym for months because of surgeries or treatments, I kept it going because of the supportive relationship I had with my trainer. That is why this experience was so shocking. One employee's lack of empathy and customer-focused service has done more damage to my perception of the company than years of positive experiences have done to build it. I genuinely do not want to cancel my membership, and I would prefer to continue supporting Crunch. However, this interaction with Mateo was so unpleasant that I am now considering taking my business elsewhere, especially with new options opening nearby. I sincerely hope Crunch rethinks how loyal members are treated because no customer should walk away feeling as unvalued as I did after this conversation. Tiffany David

It's also fairly clean, and I like the newer lift area and that Pilates classes are being added. My main concern is that I joined less than a month ago partly because the membership allowed access to multiple locations, but the newer Bloomingdale location closed shortly after I signed up. It would be great if some of the newer equipment from that gym could be moved here. I'd especially like to see upgrades to the cardio machines. Many of them are extremely rusty, and some of the treadmills don't run very smoothly. The locker room could also use a bit of a refresh. Other than that, I don't have major complaints and I'm happy with the gym overall. I'd just love to see some equipment updates to match the newer location that recently closed.

I like that they have more amenities and I use the pool often. I feel that the pool should have a better cleaning system but it seems alright. Sometimes stuff is floating in the water but it is a public pool... and there are not many to choose from around here. I am suspicious that I got ringworm on my elbows while doing crunches but that's not really the gym's fault, it's just that some people are disgusting and don't wipe the machines. Plus it might have been bug bites because I garden a lot. Maybe enforce the machine wiping more somehow. I like that it's not too crowded but I do wish it had like monkey bars and maybe an outdoor fitness area. The new Pilates studio looks very nice and the newer lifting area is awesome. If you go here just wipe the machines down BEFORE AND AFTER you use them... not every member has a sense of personal hygiene or a care for shared property.
