But the overall appearance has been steadily declining. You find paper towels, empty water bottles just laying all over the place. Dumbbells, rubber EZ bars, kettle bells & weight plates not where they supposed to be. Sometimes you have to stroll the gym looking for the equipment. If I see items during my workout in the wrong place I find myself taking it back to its location. The locker room area is disgusting! I'm glad I don't use the locker rooms or showers. And I'm not dumping this on all the staff, you have a few who are on point. Let's not forget the whole Planet Fitness becoming a daycare center! I would really enjoy having another 24 gym close by!

please help me!…read more abbey, i requested cancellation december 31, 2025, my last day at the gym, before leaving the state. i was assured my membership was cancelled, when i went up to the desk to make sure, before i left. a very nice gentleman told me: "you have nothing to worry about! your membership is cancelled. you do not need any print-out, it is in the computer." he had opened the computer and entered data, as i stood there at the desk. you owe me for 6 months of the monthly fees, january through june, as well as the yearly fee, you charged to me in february of this year. you said it shows in the computer my last visit was december 31st, 2025. i have called and called and called you as well as billing over these last months. i have put a negative review, reporting your behavior, to the bbb as well as a couple of other places, including planet fitness. in the process, i discovered there are many one star reviews. i expect full payment for the illegitimate charges asap! i'm in shock at the unjust charges! it feels communistic. billing has told me as soon as you give them authorization they will credit me! i need reimbursement immediately for: $16.13 x six months totalling $96.78 + $52.68 for the yearly fee you charged me in february. you owe me: $149.46 total and i expect you to have the integrity and customer care to refund me in full asap. hoping and praying you will give billing authorization to pay me. sincerely, joyce redger This was in Greater Carrollwood

My schedule was so crazy no gym could accommodate EXCEPT "Anytime" Fitness". All of your weight training needs can be met here with a couple caveats. There is one of every weight training machine. The only extras of machines are, of course, treadmills and ellipticals. One stair master. Other caveat is due to its smaller size the time of day you attend may matter. Right after work between five and seven o'clock may be a small issue finding machines and may put a damper on your planned workout routine for that day. I come in the early to late morning. I've never had a problem. The gym is kept very clean. The equipment is great. Doesn't look old or outdated. In addition to the main gym and the side wood linoleum area for jump rope, foam rolling, an workout, etc. they have a small to medium sized group fitness room. I've used this room for HIIT workouts or yoga. It has a really cool feature with a drop down projector that you can select a guided video workout to follow. My favorite is to bring a stationary bicycle and use he projector for my own personal cycling session. For Crossfit or heavy lifting lovers they have a "garage" type room that has ropes, punching bag, tires etc. all kept in here on a gravel type floor. Staff is personable and helpful. I'm new to weight training and I feel comfortable approaching them with questions on machines and technique. When I first joined two to three years ago I dd personal training with J'marie. She's the best. Love her. Really helped me with physical and personal goals! Felt great! I used to come and do the group fitness classes that she held like cardio kick and punch boxing. They've made some changes and they don't offer as many as I'd like (time and fitness goals wise). More Zumba and things of that nature. All of this for roughly $40 a month is not that bad! Especially if you live nearby and your schedule is that barrier you can't get past that stops you from making it to the gym.

Based off that they don't use any of the equipment they sleep on nor wipe it down when they go to a different part of the Gym or sleep in the bathrooms. I like that they have more amenities and I use the pool often. I feel that the pool should have a better cleaning system but it seems alright. Sometimes stuff is floating in the water but it is a public pool... and there are not many to choose from around here. I am suspicious that I got ringworm on my elbows while doing crunches but that's not really the gym's fault, it's just that some people are disgusting and don't wipe the machines. Plus it might have been bug bites because I garden a lot. Maybe enforce the machine wiping more somehow. I like that it's not too crowded but I do wish it had like monkey bars and maybe an outdoor fitness area. The new Pilates studio looks very nice and the newer lifting area is awesome. If you go here just wipe the machines down BEFORE AND AFTER you use them... not every member has a sense of personal hygiene or a care for shared property.

Some of my close friends live in Brandon, so I convinced them to come with me as this locations offers a one day free trial for local residents, and this location appeared to have great reviews. We visited the gym on a Sunday morning, and both me and my friends were received with such hostility that I apologized for bringing them to that location afterwards. The gentleman at the main desk made comments such as : "Are you actually here for memberships or is this just another tire kicker for you?" And "I don't want to deal with this GymPass crap, just do the daily pass, it's faster". Once he saw my out of state ID, he stated "Oh, you're from Utah? You definitely won't be doing a membership then". Sir, of course I'm from out of State, my employer provides me with Gympass, if you're not familiar how the program works or if you're unhappy with it, you're more than welcome to cancel your enrollment. And if that's the reception you're providing for anyone enrolling under your 1-day pass, maybe it simply shouldn't exist. I'll point this out though, the facility itself is great, with clean machines and plenty of equipment.

I wish I had known this before searching for parking but again, this was a ClassPass issue that should've been in the fine print .. not so much on Body Rok. The class had about 10 girls in it. Very fast paced & I was a beginner. I kept up as much as I could but I felt like the instructor moved too fast for me.
