I'm obsessed with their set up it's just a cute little pop up stand that's open seasonally until dusk. They restock every Friday and I went on a Tuesday and there was still plenty of variety. Be sure to support your local woman owned farmers and businesses. This little pop up stand will steal your heart and make your home so happy with their adorable pre arranged flower bouquets. He proceeded to tell me that that's how the doctor wrote it and it's not his job to call the doctor and figure out what the prescription is supposed to be. So I left and as I was walking away I said I don't understand. He just proceeded to call me to tell me myself and my children are not welcome there anymore and curse me out and calling me a miserable b**** in front of my children on the over the phone and has called me now 5 more times since I hung up on him. Since when is this acceptable behavior from business? The crafts section was appalling: it smelled actually a stench of pumpkin? Or 3rd rate candle store stench of cinnamon vanilla barf. Self service at checkout indicates that the corporation is cutting corners on personnel. The setup for checkout is very weird. Instead of lanes like in supermarkets, there is one side of the aisle for cashier, and other other side with two self checkout areas. This is okay for picking up stuff for scrap booking or perhaps holiday themed ornamental displays. For professional artists, look elsewhere.

Over the past year (last visit before Saturday's visit was in mid-2016), we had found some…read morefurniture at this Majek, and knowing about that visit, we thought we'd go back and purchase a matching piece to the set. But when we got inside the older refurbished airport hangar (this Majek is almost on airport property), I got to thinking that the space they utilize inside is quite large but their walkways are really tiny. I liked the choices we had here, though the employee was a little awkward to deal with. I mean, he tried to find us the choices we wanted, but I think he tried too hard to impress us, and that was making us uneasy about a purchase here. At first the plan was to purchase that matching piece to the set of chairs (looking for something to replace an Ashley chair we originally bought from Wiedy's Furniture in Kingston, NY in 2016 that Wiedy's wouldn't hold to fixing and wouldn't back our purchase), but once we got in we all spotted the recliners, we tried to experience some in our price range and although we all had our different choices, we still couldn't find just that right chair that fit all (or most) of our requirements. The employee (and there weren't many there on a Saturday) tried to impress us by utilizing their website (when they couldn't spot a comparable chair that we could sample) and answering most of all of the questions we had, but there's just only so many options we could choose from when our budget was as low as we had and nothing in the store "or even comparable" even shouted out as a "good fit" (to a point where the piece shouted back "pick me!")

I never complain or yelp negatively, but my experience in this store made my blood boil. When I…read morewalked in the first time, I noticed there was something a bit off about the man at the register who I believe to be the owner. Not very friendly or approachable, but I saw some cute cocktail glassware and decided to make a purchase. Sadly, that evening, the paper bag with the glasses wrapped in tissue paper, lightly tipped over on the dinner table and one of the glasses shattered. I thought it would be worth a try to go back and see if they could accommodate with a solution as the glasses had not even been unwrapped yet. I went back, and the same man was there. He was extremely hostile when I asked if he could help me out in any way. When I mentioned that the glasses were only wrapped in tissue paper, he became very defensive and suggested that I was blaming him for the accident. "It's my fault," he yelled. He very childishly huffed and puffed through the store as he grabbed me a new glass and some bubble wrap. As he handed back the bag, he very rudely said, "don't blame me if you're not careful and it breaks again." Although I don't think it was his fault, I don't imagine the glass would have broken if it had been well wrapped the first time around. To have a grown man yell at me, a young women in my 20s, felt extremely scary, disrespectful, and and sad that this is a world where men think they can speak to women so harshly. Don't recommend visiting if you are looking for a pleasant customer experience.

It is not everyday you can be inside an artist's work space to witness all the creativity! As an added bonus, we saw two young deers nippling at the grass outside the studio.. Donna's paintings were very colorful and each piece has an interesting story behind. The gallery was very spacious and you can really take your time to soak in the art work with a glass of wine! CAAAAYUUUUUTE little addition to Pawling!…read more Came by this adorable new little store (opened just around a week ago) and it has the cutest little things. From home decor to cute accessories, home scents like candles, all natural body soaps, plants and even a DIY succulent planting station! My favorite part has got to be the DIY succulent area where you can pick a planter and fill it with rocks, charcoal, your succulent of choice dirt and decorate. It's so easy, chill and relaxing. My favorite part is you don't have to make an appointment or follow anyone. It's all in a little instruction sheet that super easy to follow. This store is woman owned and the owner even gave us a little teaser of getting to try the station complimentary as part of their launch weekend. We of course weren't just here for the succulents but also purchase a few other little home items that we scored. Absolutely obsessed with their candle selection and how light and airy this store is. Definitely an awesome new addition to this area. It's also a great spot to find a gift for someone. They have fun cute gifting bags, cards and all kinds of things.
