Wow, I certainly came at the perfect time! 30% off dresses! I literally have 1 dress because…read morefrankly I never seem to have a need for them. But after going to several professional outings, and never being able to find the right dress when the time is near, I've been led me to Express to peruse for the perfect ensemble while I have the time to look. I ended up buying 4 dresses and originally I was only going to buy 2, but one of the sales people told me to check online for a coupon and that I could use it on my purchase today. All the sales people were really helpful and professional, and thanks to Mr. Coupon I left very satisfied with 4 dresses instead of 2. Pretty much one can never go wrong with dresses and jeans from here. I've had tops in the past, and while most are pretty and well made, I'm not a fan of their regular tees, they fit really awkwardly. I will definitely be back, maybe even later today, because I do need a new pair of jeans too.

Today's review is based on my time in this store, it wasn't really packed but there wasn't really anyone available to get help from. And when I found someone to ask a question, she wasn't friendly at all. Perhaps it's a Friday night and work is the last place you want to be at. The least I think one can do is to put on a smile and try to attract customers. I don't even think a 75% off could draw me at this point into this location. I guess its either going to other locations or the online store for me now.

Express is a very interesting store for mens clothes…read more They have very nice products at a high price. You can now get almost identical dress shirts at Kohls for 1/2 the price. Express, however, has much better ties. Today the whole store was 40% yet at checkout, only two of my items were discounted. Had I not questioned the clerk, I would have paid full price for the third item.

3 employees working here and 3 employees greeted me with a smile! Impressive! It was a tad messy…read morebut it's to be expected considering they're always so busy. The clearance was great deals but everything else seemed so over priced. And one of the the clerks sounded robotic about telling the deals which wasn't fun.

Their "Hot Cash" is a joke, you can't use it on any sale items and that leaves very little to choose from. My daughter bought four things "on sale" and it came to over $60! Just T-shirts and buttons. 2 buttons for $3?? When it takes only .25¢ to make, what a mark up! When we got in line only one register was open. We stood in line waiting for over 10 mins for the store clerk to check out the person in front of us. I looked behind us and the line was to the back of the store. That's when they opened another register, just one! The store is so small that just standing in line was a struggle. To the people who own and operate Hot Topic, your lucky I'm giving you two stars, I think you are over charging the public and ripping us off. Be ashamed, be very ashamed!!!

You're…read morewelcome ;) Anyway, I've been to this location three times now and while I have been helped by three different associates, all of them have been nothing but wonderful. Helping suggest items based on what I have picked out, suggesting different cuts and colors, and suggesting other items to complete my outfit. And, while most stores have gotten rid of helping out customers when they are in the fitting rooms, the associates at this store are willing to go get another size, a different cut, or a different shirt to go with the skirt you are trying on. It is kind of funny that the last time I was in a Maurices, I think I was in middle school, listening to Boyz II Men, looking for chokers to accessorize my overall shorts and butterfly clips to put by the thousands in my hair. While the music hasn't really changed (loved hearing "Ice Ice Baby" tonight), the styles have, but you can find an entire outfit right down to the shoes. The reason I set foot in this Maurices the first time was that I happened to be shopping at Target for something, but couldn't find what I was looking for and I figured Maurices might have it. I have continued to stop in because I'm one of those in-between sizes... in-between "regular" sizes and "plus" sizes. I can shop between the two shops to find the right combination of sizes that work for me. The shop is also well kept. There is nothing worse than having to avoid tripping on clothes on the floor, mounds of unfolded clothes on the tables, and piles of clothes in the dressing rooms, so I highly appreciate the effort they go to in order to maintain the appearance of the store. The white, pleather benches in the dressing rooms could use a deep clean, but I'm usually hopping around, balancing as I try on clothes rather than sitting down. This also saves me from having to spend 30 minutes driving to busy, packed malls!

She dragged me over there, promising that I would not walk out empty handed. Can you believe I actually found a cashmere sweater that I couldn't pass up. Only downfall of this visit..the heat was set to 85 degrees...we asked the sales person. Their heater was broke. Trying on a cashmere sweater with the blasted heat = uncomfortable.
