I was in need for a new Ariat shirt and and a cowboy hat for a wedding that we were attending at the last minute out of state. However, I was not able to find the right color shirt that matched my wife's dress. I had been to several stores, was running out of patience and luck. I was the told about El Dorado at Flatirons mall, and gave them a call, and as luck would have it, they had the color that I was looking for. The young man and lady working that day were very nice and helpful, I decided to buy a new cowboy hat as well, since we were going to San Antonio, Texas (when in Rome). They were so friendly, I think I will go back and possibly get me a new pair of boots! Thanks for your assistance at the Flatirons location, Y'all rock!

I patiently waited in the dressing room line for 20 minutes (no joke) and finally was able to try it on. Unfortunately the dress was too big, so my mom went to grab me a new size. The employee yelled at her when she came back to my room with a new size and said I had to leave the dressing room and wait in line again if I wanted to try on another dress. She yelled at my mom and told her if I was not going to wait again to "put it back on the rack right now." I understand if she was bringing me a brand new dress, but it was just a different size! That reaction was ridiculous.

Always find something I want. :) I bought some opal earrings and a minimal silver necklace. They also have clothing, plenty of gift options, and Colorado themed items. I saw the other reviews about bad experiences with customer service but my experience was fine. I was acknowledged quickly when I came in by the younger woman (it was super slow that morning as we were the only customers). She was nice and helped me with the different earrings/necklace I was wanting to see in the glass case. The store feels a bit cluttered but it's just chock full of a variety of items. The clothing items seem overpriced compared to other boutique stores I've been in with similar items, but that's probably because it's a tourist town.

I found an item sitting in a tray that looked like a magnet, but I was not sure if the backing was magnetic, so I looked around to ask someone at the register. There was an employee approaching us and I held the magnet in the palm of my hand and asked her if the backing is magnetic. She said, "Yes, it is a magnet," reached out and took the item from my hand and then stated that that she would "hold on to it" while I continue to look around. We would have looked around the store a bit, but I was taken aback by her reaction, her tone, and the manner in which she took the item from the palm of my hand. My immediate inclination was to as ask her why she needed to "hold on" to the magnet, but I told her that's all I needed, as it was my initial reason for entering the store. When she told me that it would be $12, I took out my custom handmade leather wallet to get my credit card, and for some reason her eyes were glued on my wallet. I hope that she was admiring it and not thinking otherwise as there seems to be an issue with trusting customers here. Do better!
