I have found it is easier for me to buy online from Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack and pick up easily by the dressing rooms. The staff are helpful and quick to get my items for pick up and also very easy returns. I'm here so often that I'm glad to see the same staff. Great value for buying for yourself and gifting to others. I do recommend you have them open your boxes for pickup there as I was missing an item one time and the manager quickly refunded for me the jeans. They do sell stuff in store that is not available online.

The associate I spoke with said she checked with her manager and that they'd honor the return. I stopped by the store the next day with my receipt and the sneakers, explaining that I called the day before and was told to bring the shoes in. The store manager refused the return and said it's not the store's job to manage defects. After leaving the store, I called the Rack customer service number, who absolutely said the store should've taken the return and given me a refund. Do not go to this Rack...it's messy and disorganized, anyway. The other locations in town are way better.

After a couple of other stops, we finished at Macy's because we knew that if no one else had what we were looking for, we'd find it there. We probably should have saved time and just started at Macy's. The team was extremely helpful, routing us to the right places and sizes, making recommendations, helping me find sale items, etc. Hoda was particularly helpful, helping my wife find appropriate sizes when the ones she picked didn't work (women's sizes are crazy, a number should be the same across all items) and getting us checked out in a timely manner. We came for one item and, thanks to a couple of sales, left with three. I probably won't have much use for the women's dress section again, but I'll be coming back to Macy's specifically because of the service we received.

I feel completely misled by my experience at Macy's…read more During my visit on Mother's Day, a sales associate encouraged me to open a Macy's credit card and clearly stated that all purchases made that day would receive 30% off. Based on that promise, I applied for the card and completed my purchases. At checkout, I noticed the discount was not reflected on my receipt. When I asked about it, the associate assured me that the discount would appear on my statement later. I was not shown any terms, conditions, exclusions, or limitations. In fact, I was simply given a temporary credit card number and told to use it for my purchases to receive the discount. When my statement arrived, the promised 30% discount was nowhere to be found. Had the actual terms been explained clearly, I would have made a different decision. Customers should not be persuaded to open credit cards based on promises that are inaccurate or incomplete. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional, and it has seriously damaged my trust in Macy's.

Because these guys are on commission they won't exchange anything in store, they'll box up your purchase and send it back to corporate for processing, so far, 10 days and nothing. They did order me a jacket, and had it sent because the one in store was damaged. Received the shipment, and it look like it was wadded up in a ball and stuffed in a plastic bag, then crammed in a box that was too small for it. Paying $200 for a blazer isn't a huge amount of money in the grand scheme of things, but it's $200 and I don't expect what I ordered to be treated like trash. I emailed customer service, I got a short very curt reply giving me another email address. I message them on Instagram and I got the same short non-response. Once I'm done with this circle of returns and exchanges and get my refund, I'm done with this company forever. The product is decent enough but the customer service experience is terrible. I'm not complaining without having tried to contact them directly to work this out, but days go by without responses then when you get them they aren't answers.
