This place is adorable! I was immediately greeted by the sales associates when I entered their beautiful shop. This is one of those places where you can find high end gifts, above normal stocking stuffers, jewelry, shoes, quality handbags, candles, cards, picture frames, unique baby clothes, fun cocktail napkins, El Arroyo brand items (the famous Austin, TX Mexican restaurant), home decor, university items, fun tea towels, scarves, sunglasses, lots of boutique clothing for women and so many more! I could have spent hours in there today, but I had to return to work - bummer. I love gifts that you can't get just anywhere, so this place is a winner. Popped in while in town for the Junior Olympics--day 5 of our trip, and we've been outdoors all day, every day for my daughter's competitions. We were dressed in activewear, of course. The moment we walked in, the staff began following us around like we were about to steal something... It wasn't subtle, and it definitely wasn't welcoming. We came specifically to shop for Jellycats. While my daughter was picking one out, my 2 year old accidentally knocked over a $15 trinket that was placed right next to the toys. It broke. I immediately apologized and offered to pay for the accident, but the old woman maybe manager/owner just turned her back and walked off without saying a word. No professionalism, no acknowledgment. Still, we made a purchase, about $50 for Jellycat and a small toy. The store tries hard to give off an upscale, curated vibe, but the service is pure snooty attitude and fake class. We're in town from Rockwall, Texas the smallest and wealthiest county in the state, about 20 minutes from Dallas, fortunately we don't need to steal outdated trinkets. The fake-classy attitude here is laughable. snooty staff, zero warmth, and absolutely no sense of how to treat customers. If you're expecting grace, charm, or even basic decency, keep looking. read more

My friend gave me a gift card to pretty please and I went and bought some cute things for my daughter. it is kind of an overwhelming boutique. They have a lot of things all over the place but pretty interesting stuff. The ladies there were nice and a couple times asked if I needed some help. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later and my husband decides to spring on me that he has a retirement party he has go to and it's that night at around 630 and he has no gift for either the host or the retiree. So I quickly called specs and asked them to have two bottles of wine ready and asked if they had some towels to maybe wrap them up and make them look pretty, unfortunately, they didn't so I remembered that pretty please is across the way. I called pretty please and they were amazing. I asked them to pick out a couple of dish towels, and please help my husband wrap those up for his party. They were so kind and agreed to do so. They stapled my credit card receipt on top of the itemized receipt, which listed the return policy. Who would look there and notice this ridiculously strict policy? This store is so fun there is so much to see and lots of Brighton brand stuff too. Only reason I give it a 2 star is that you never know what the mood is going to be like with the personnel. Some ladies are super nice, helpful and fun and others are not so nice and helpful somewhat snooty. Sometimes I get the impression that they don't want me to be there. I have made many purchases there and signed up for their list numerous times and still don't receive special event invites or birthday discount card.
