Corporate greed alive and well. Burlington opened their stores the same the hurricane exited. They gave no thought for their employees who may not have had power and the roads weren't clear of debris yet. Also why is it every time I go to one of their stores it's always too hot to shop in there. They expect their workers to work with no A/C because corporate is too cheap. This store is horrible. Its messy and on top of that, filthy too. The racks are not organized and you just want to quit looking. I went to the fitting room and the attendant was rude. When i came out, she was gone. There were clothes abandoned in almost every room. Tags were tucked behind baseboards and laying on the floor. You are obviously being ripped off. The clientele is bad. There is loitering outside and its uncomfortable. Will not be back here, did not purchase anything. Shame, really. Good space, and the store could be so much better. I love Burlington and it's usually my go-to for low priced and quality clothing. This is the only location I go to in my area, but I believe there's one in Cape Coral on Pine Island. Recently, I went to Burlington to shop before a trip. My shopping experience could have been better if my loaded shopping cart did not get restocked when I left it at the end of the aisle while I was searching through the rack. An associate put all my items away and I had trouble locating where they were restocked, which drastically added more shopping time during my busy day. Other than that, I will continue to shop at Burlington and hope they can be more mindful of the consumer shopping experience moving forward. read more

I was looking for a dress and I could not believe what I heard and saw, the supervisors of the store was bullying the employees because they were speaking in Spanish and indicating you need to Speak only English you are in America, but what was ironic was, if one of us needed help in Spanish it was ok for the employees to speak Spanish to us. Also I was in chock the supervisor was arguing while we were around and telling them to get the F word out of the store and laughing, very unprofessional. I felt soo sorry for the employees. I will never go back to that store. read more

No, they do NOT only sell coats here. lol. This place is like a giant TJmaxx or Marshalls. They have a large childrens and baby section, household decorations, linens, mens and womens clothing, jewlery and shoes. read more

Unfortunately this was the only bad experience I've had at a Burlington Coat Factory since I started shopping at the outlets around 3 years ago. I didn't find much of a plus size selection for intimates and figured it's normal anyways at discount stores but then I reached check out and the associate serving me was extremely disinterested in explaining my options for exchanging items. She huffed and was sarcastically repeating the question of "is it time to go home yet"... and seemed extremely frustrated that she had to service customers in general. I politely stayed quiet and gathered my few things and thanked her as I walked out but I wasn't satisfied at all with the customer service that I received today. Hopefully next time I'll be greeted as I walk in and have a better experience at the front counters. read more

So this is where all of the apparel that used to stock the shelves of the TJ Maxx's of the world have gone. Lots and lots of apparel and priced quite reasonably. I'd equate the selection and prices to a Macy's or Dillard's sale weekend. One thing I didn't see much of, however, were coats. Could be because it's May in Florida. read more

Buyer beware. Very dissatisfied with the customer service from this company. I purchased luggage on 7/27/15 for a trip I was going on. When I bag is packed with clothes and being pulled on its wheels it was dragging on the ground a little bit. I did not notice it until it was too late. I used it for one trip. When I tried to bring back to the store a WEEK later to exchange it I was told by the manager that it looks like you cut it! Then they just tell you to call customer service who then tells you to call the store and now they tell me to call the manufacturer. If you ever have an issue with anything you purchase from this company you are probably out of luck. What reason would I have to cut the bag? I wasn't trying to get my money back even - just an exchange as I believe I am entitled to because the product I purchased was defective and did not last one trip from baggage claim to my car without falling apart! I would have put zero stars if I could. Update on review. I changed the review to 3 stars because the regional manager Alex contacted me and was very professional and allowed an exchange. When I arrived at the store to select another piece of luggage but they did not have another piece similar or that would work for me so one of the managers Helen allowed an exchange. The WORST Customer Service & Policies ...and good luck if you try to return something. They will make up any and every excuse to NOT allow you to return it. Then when you ask to speak w/ a store or district manager they say 'they are not allowed to give out that information'! Really? Absurd... I finally obtained the name and number of the Florida Regional Manager and after 2 weeks, have not heard back from anyone. I wonder if corporate is even aware how their stores deal w/ customers :( TJ maxx & Marshalls are so much better anyway. read more

This Burlington is by far the best one I've been to. Huge selection of things and the store itself is huge . It's nicer then the ones in broward county things aren't scattered every where and just the cleanliness alone was a huge plus . Wish I lived closer . Lines were long but moved very fast ! To think that I am now in Florida and have to drive a half an hour to find anything resembling a winter coat. Burlington Coat Factory pretty much hides their racks of coats to the left and in the back, which to a merchandiser is the last corner of a store that any right turning, browsing Customer will be heading. We found some poofy coats, and a magical collection of sweat shirts disguised as jackets. This week - with the mere suggestion of Easter on the calendar - there are five racks of ladies hats with net, satin, ribbon, and straw in all the Easter colors. Missionaries should stake this out for getting more through their church doors on Sunday. read more

Great selection of cribs but not much in stock. Had to be put on a list but they meet called. Lots of baby/kids clothes and accessories. We purchased a lot for our newborn there. Wide selection of clothes which comes with big crowds. Best time is weekdays when they open. Weekends are crazy crowded with sometimes long wait in check out lane read more

This store seems to want to load the store with cheap brands and a lot of plastic and faux pleather shoes. I miss my Burlington store in Yonkers NY. that catered designer clothes and shoes that were fashionable designer brands worth buying like BCBG, BEBE, Talbots, Guess, Willi Smith, Ellen, Bass, Eddie Bauer, Jones of NEW YORK, Calvin Klein, Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Lacoste, and so many other designer names. You would dress well for good prices. Here you get made in china and brands you never heard before, polyester, and synthetics, plastics that you can smell the benzene as soon as you walk into the store. Very Tacky clothes and cheap shoes and housewares. I rather go to TJ MAXX , Marshalls, HomeGoods and the Outlets than to shop at Burlington. read more

Bad Customer Service, if I could I will give them 0 stars Last week I went to your store located at the corner of Colonial and US41 in Fort Myers and bought the Fisher Price Luv u zoo Jumperoo, no problem there, after assembly I notice the lights and music didn't work, I changed the batteries and still didn't work so I decided to go and exchange the product, we arrive to the store at around 1 pm on Monday June 25 and asked for the exchange, the first response from the cashier was friendly, and after asked my a couple of questions she said she needed to call who I thought it was the manager, John, she had to call him 4 times before he finally showed up 10 minutes later, his first approach to me was "What did you say the problem was??? Not even a hello how can I help you, after I explained to him that the lights and music didn't work, his response was ' Did you put batteries??? At this point his attitude was just nasty I gave him a quick response to get another very rude response from him, he asked me if the batteries where still on and since were not he asked "How am I supposed to check if it works?? I don't have any batteries here, I guess I'm going to have to take your word for it", and asked the cashier to give me my money back, I then said the I will like another jumper, the same kind since my daughter really liked it, his response was, " I don't even know if we have another", What?, do you want me go look??, at that point I just took my money back and went to Toys r Us and bought the toy there. This place is horrible! I came into town all excited about going shopping at Burlington since a friend had told me how affordable it is. Everything seemed nice when I walked in. I bought clothes in a hurry since I had a meeting to attend. I didn't get a chance to try on a jacket but I needed one so I bought it anyway. I came to my hotel room later that day cut the tag and tried it on. It was very uncomfortable. So I grabbed the tag and took the receipt and jacket to return the next day. When I got there the lady couldn't find the jacket on the receipt and called the manager. They both said that the receipt and tag are not not for the jacket that I purchased. Since I had only bought two items from Burlington I knew that both the receipt and tag were correct. Because of their mishap I have lost $25. So of you ever decide on shopping here you would probably want to make sure that the tag description matches the item that you are purchasing. read more
