The cashier literally added legging to my clothes checkout order without asking. I hate leggings.

I particularly like the skin/hair care section as I enjoy trying out new things but don't want to spend a fortune. The pantry section is also great. BUT... why on earth is the line such a headache? I don't need to walk through 3 lanes of a maze just to checkout. I still love Marshall's, but the extensive "wait, don't you wanna buy this too before you go?!" game they play with the million extra items lined up in the checkout maze is a bit ridiculous. :) Also, try to walk through with a toddler who wants to rip every God forsaken fragile item off the shelf that they can get their buttery hands on...

The isle was wide enough for other carts and people to pass through, and no one was behind me or approaching me. When I tried to move my cart so I could go else where, customers were passing very close to me so I couldn't mov, even though they had room on the other side. Suddenly, a EMPLOYEE passed me and said to a lady passing, all while I'm literally trying to move but they blocked me in, "What a convenient isle for her to park her cart." That's disgusting that they have an employee who makes fun of customers with customers. He literally trapped me in, and there was room for him and the customer to pass with ease! The employee was the overweight man with the long gray hair. And this isn't the first time I've heard him talk rudely/use a disgusting attitude towards customers.

I was also surprised that they didn't have many costume for Halloween. This place is very clean and organized. There is plenty of parking. I came here because I had an item to return through Amazon. Their customer service department is strategically placed in the far back corner so for folks like myself, you'd have to pass by the entire store and see all the cool merchandise before you got to return your Amazon item. I liked that I could return my Amazon stuff without needing to print anything out. I just had to show them a barcode and they printed a label and gave me a coupon for 25% off any item for 1 week. Some items here are super expensive while others are great deals. I ended up getting some slippers for $3.89. My husband wanted to get plain white t-shirts but a pack of 6 shirts cost over $30. Their juniors clothes looks to be of cheap quality. They have a lot of house slippers to choose from and plenty of perfumes and makeup items. Their air fryer was sold for much more than the one I got from Amazon. You have to be willing to peruse the clearance sections and use coupons in order to get a good deal here.

The establishments range from low brow to high class with college kid meat markets like Daisy Dukes to some pretty serious eats like Pascale's and Lemon Grass. Late night the close the street to traffic so you can make the stumble to your next bar. A number of the food places are open late (I would seriously suggest Nick's Tomato Pie) and in the summer, the Night's in Syracuse are perfect for out door drinking. If you want a good beer, Blue Tusk is your place. A ton of beer on tap plus outdoor seating. Awful Al's is a cigar bar and one of the few places in Upstate New York that allows indoor smoking. Empire Brewery brews their own and generally has some pretty good music. Syracuse Suds Factory also brews their own, though not quite as good as Empire, however the large space and lack of crowds tends to make this my default starting spot for a night out.
