No, I didn't need 10 new pairs of shoes, but c'mon. I was able to get a lot of grocery items on really good clearance. They didn't have a great selection, but good enough to get me through the weekend. They had a lot of stuff marked down to 25¢. I ended up spending $50 when I went in to buy about $3 worth of stuff. WHICH IS WHY I DON'T COME HERE!!! The guy that checked my stuff out was quiet but really nice. I had signed up for a Big Lots card a long time ago, but didn't have it. He really wanted me to get credit for the big purchase I made that day so volunteered to take the time to fix my old account so I'd get those "points" even when I told him he didn't really have to go to the effort if he was too busy. He wasn't that busy, so was perfecty happy to do it. I'll definitely go back, although I'll have to be careful not to buy too much.

Though I've been coming to this location for years, the employee I spoke to really motivated me to write this. I ended up purchasing the food containers, some hygiene products, and paper goods. This Walmart inside is very clean and organized and brightly lit. The Associates that I had contact with were pleasant and did their job well. The one nice thing about this particular Walmart is that I noticed they have more checkers and actually I didn't even see any self check. So it's nice to actually have the service that I believe every customer should have, and not have to do themselves! The only reason that I give it a four is that I feel like the area is a little bit more sketchy people in the parking lot. I believe they have a security car patrol the parking lot and I understand why. I have felt that way every time I've gone to this particular Walmart. But the Walmart itself is in good condition on the inside and is an asset to the community in the surrounding area.

The parking lot is still a massive disaster IMO, especially with how it bottlenecks at the entrance, though to be fair to them, I'm not sure what else they could do to fix it. What does work here is that the lot is huge so you'll at least find a spot, even if it's a tad bit stressful getting in and out. Now, why bump my rating up to four stars? Primarily because they've done a really excellent job of continuing to improve this location. Everytime Target seems to come out with a redesign this spot gets it pretty fast, and not only do they implement it seamlessly but all redesigns seem to really work here. Now, this Target is no longer my primary Target, but I do still visit here from time to time and one other thing it has going for it is that I feel like I have fewer issues here in general. It could be the nature of me not coming here as frequently, but I can't think of a time that I've had a negative interaction with a staff member, them being out of stock with something, or waiting too long at checkout. The problem with Kohl's is that they are just too expensive and I think a lot of things are overpriced because they know that most of the people that shop there just use Kohl's cash to get the item down to more of a reasonable price. They had a clearance sale with items already marked off and then another 50% off, which would bring most items down to 85% off. A woman next to me had brought a particular clothing item up to the cash register, and the worker had said that certain items don't apply because of their brand. Well, that brand was what filled the clearance section so in reality 90% of the items really weren't getting the extra 50% off. Also, when I looked in the children's section, they have cute clothes, but yet again they are overly expensive. They have a shelf of clothes that are similar to Walmart where it's T-shirts and bottoms for a toddler. But even at their price, it's double the amount of Walmart. So if you want quality clothing and don't mind paying more and have your Kohl's cash then it would be a good place. But for me, I just know other stores that have better pricing.

They mostly have self-serve kiosks. My main complaint about this particular Walmart is their Pharmacy. My husband used to have his Pharmacy orders sent here. Every single time that either one of us would pick up his prescriptions we couldn't stand the service. The workers at the pharmacy are completely slow and not that friendly. They also often have medication that is not in stock and my husband will have to wait for his medication. They also have an irritating policy that after you've been waiting in the outdoor drive up line forever, they make you wait for a pharmacist to ask you if you have any questions about the medication or some other stupid question. This is particularly irritating because this pharmacy is very slow in the drive-through and it's just another step that is not necessary, especially if someone has been on a medication for years and picks it up every month! They will say that it's federal law that they have to do that and it may be for their particular pharmacy, but I don't think that is for all pharmacies. I get my prescriptions at Walgreens, which is way better and they do not do this unless there is an interaction between a new medication and current medications or it's a brand new medication that you're starting. I used to have my prescriptions at another Walmart pharmacy that did not have a drive-through and that Pharmacy was also so awful. So the two stars is for the store part of the location, but it was just based on the Pharmacy, it would be a -1!! My husband actually switched his prescriptions to Walgreens and I had to go back to this location yesterday because the nurse accidentally sent it to Walmart instead of Walgreens. We will be getting it switched back!

I have a Walmart subscription for at home delivery so I was comparing prices overall. I was actually surprised to find that Target was very close to Walmart prices if not almost exact. I do think their home decor section is more expensive and it's the same quality. I ended up purchasing three totes of various sizes that were reasonable. I went to a checkout that actually had a worker. There seem to be only about three people that did check out and the rest of it was self check out, similar to Walmart. The service was good and friendly. I would definitely go back based on this visit when I have more time to look throughout the store.
