Really what I mean is that Burlington is the retail equivalent of an archeological dig with clothes packed so tightly on the racks that having a jaws of life handy is highly recommended. The store is dingy and slightly desheveled but you're also not at at Ralph Lauren store paying MSRP for a polo pony pullover. 6/8/2025, I went to buy at the Burlington located in the Willibrook mall, some gardening items that were on clearance, the lady who assisted me asked me if any of my relatives work for that store and I said yes and she told me that I could not buy those gardening items since my relative was going to be canceled by the store as punishment, I was surprised by such an aberrant and cheap position and she told me that the cameras recorded everything that was discussed since it was company policy to record customers' conversations, I felt so offended, invaded and humiliated that the only thing I did was leave and never come back and advise all my people not to buy there because of how unfair they are with their employees and their families, since I believe that one thing has nothing to do with the other. read more

This Burlington is just what you'd expect, a nice discounted department store. There's ton to choose from. I usually go for clothes and to check out the dog section. The store itself is in a huge complex. It's definitely a good size and has tons to choose from. They also have a small home decor section thats worth checking out. Whenever I go, the store is clean and well organized. I really come to get a few new tops work once and a while. They always range from 7-15 bucks. It's really affordable. I've also shopped for my winter jackets here and they're hands down the best price around. I'd stop by when you want to do some discounted shopping! read more

I went for a coat but was unable because the store and racks were a mess. The merchandise is nice unfortunately The sizes were all mixed up on the wrong hangers with the sizes, they were also in the wrong size section completely. There is also clothes all over the floor and stuffed any where throughout the store. It was literally impossible to shop so i had to leave and buy a coat from kohl's down the way. this was the most messy store ive stepped in. what makes it worse is there is no one on the floor to help you . If u want help you have to go get it by requesting it up front or just Hoping for a miracle... i dont know why i keep trying it cause it only gets worse and more frustrating each time read more

The day BEFORE Mothers Day, I'm in line and they mention the computers are down or slow, THEY NEVER MENTIONED CASH ONLY. Myself and I must say about 30 other folks on line patiently waiting. This place isn't great. Too much stuff you can't find anything. My biggest problem with them is they throw out perfectly good clothes and shoes. I saw about 100 pairs of Adidas and puma flip flops all cut down the middle so nobody could wear them. Instead of doing that they could have given away to those in need. I know this is something that company's do to protect the "integrity" of the product but its complete bullshit. I heard other countries are making it a crime to do. Hopefully the US will follow. I came into this store today and it was truly chaotic. I found a couple of things and went to pay. As per usual the line was long and slow. This couple and their daughter cut in front of me which I let go because I wasn't in the mood for problems. What was not okay with me is when they started spraying aerosol cans that were merchandise, obnoxiously while in the line. I asked them why would they do that and they immediately started harassing me. I told management and they did nothing while these people even got in my face, trying to provoke me and calling me names while I was with my two small children. I'm telling them to get away from me and calling management and security who stood idly by, some even laughing. This unprofessionalism and lack of control in their store is disgraceful. I left all my items and will never return. I have never had this experience in a store and before Nura wants to leave a general comment on this review I want to say don't. The young manager came out from the room in the front of the store and I asked why there were only 2 cashiers for all these people and I told her I put my things down that I was going to buy and she never stopped to speak and as she walked away she yelled back, "Thank you". Went in to get a coat. Thought maybe I'd find a deal on a decent coat. Burlington Coat Factory doesn't really have decent coats. Not for winters in NJ they don't. Not here. They're TONS of people working. But nobody is helpful. Imagine that. The dressing room woman was bizarrely rude. I asked her a simple question and she was rude from the beginning. She snapped at me about bringing in accessories that I wasn't trying to bring in. She was pushy and rude. She has glasses. She needs to go. You can definitely do a lot better. I told her I wanted to try on the coat(place is a big dump there's no appropriate area to try on coats in. ALSO, I was wearing a heavy sweatshirt- because I didn't have a jacket-that's why I came into Burlington Coat Factory!) When I went into the dressing room to TAKE OFF MY SWEATSHIRT and try on the coat I heard her say, "who tries on a coat in the dressing room"? It's BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY! This location is great! The store is huge and they have lots of Calvin Klein stuff which I love. Only downside is the parking lot is crazy and it gets very busy but that's not their fault. The whole shopping center is like that. read more
