At any rate we tried to exit through the same entrance we came in, it had been locked even though our car was parked right out front. The manager said they could not re open to let us out the way we came in so we would have to walk around to the front. That would be a HARD NO. I informed management that I was unable to walk long distances, their solution was to send Security. It was 4 of us which included my 5 year old grand baby. Security said they could only transport one of us. The rest if us had to walk through a dark parking garage at night with my 5-year-old grandchild. That is completely unacceptable and unsafe. There should be better protocols in place for customer safety and accessibility after hours. To make matters worse, my daughter recently placed an online order with Macy's and paid for 2-day shipping, only to find out the items won't arrive until Monday, well past the date they were needed. Between the poor in-store experience and unreliable online service, Macy's has truly fallen short. I expected much better from a company of this reputation.

In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.

Over the last 12+ years, when my mom has visited me in Atlanta, she's stopped by this store. And my significant others (past and present) have shopped here too. This TJ Maxx is located at The District at Howell Mill just off I-75 exit 252. My fiancee's carry-on roller bag broke so we came here looking for a new one. As soon as we entered the store, front and center on display were some black, 20-inch, Samsonite Pallant spinner (four-wheel) bags that I thought were ideal. She wasn't as big a fan of them as me, but I liked them. They were soft, lightweight (less than eight pounds) and expandable, had both top and side handles, and multiple pockets/compartments. The price was $79.99 each which I thought was reasonable (regularly $130, I believe). There were only two so I grabbed one while my fiancee looked around the luggage section to see if she could find anything better. She couldn't, so we got it. The only thing I didn't like about the bag was it felt a little cheap and flimsy. My well-traveled and savvy mom found a better bag online at Macy's with next-day pickup available at Lenox Square. It was a 21-inch Delsey Meteor spinner for $86.99 (regularly $250; I think they took advantage of some sale or offer or something). This model was available in different colors which my fiancee liked. She ended up choosing Midnight Blue. She did not like the boring black color of the Samsonite. Like the Samsonite bag, the Delsey bag was lightweight. However, the Delsey bag was higher in quality, from the extendable roller handle to the wheels (they were good and strong). Overall, the Delsey bag looked nicer too. We returned here the next day to return the Samsonite bag. We noticed that the other Samsonite bag had sold also. To return merchandise at TJ Maxx, you stand in the same line as if you're checking out. Service was fine, both when we purchased the bag and returned it.

If you have ever met me IRL or even seen a picture of me, you know that I love a colorful outfit and wow, I found my place. First, the decor. What a gorgeous spot! The huge blush pink giraffe and the soft pink walls adorned with greenery truly made it feel like the chiq boutique it is. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff members and was helped by the wonderful Sean. The store was super organized and well laid out, it was actually a breeze to walkthrough and enjoy. I feel like the items in the store were pieces I hadn't seen before vs. seeing the same simple items as we always do. Each item was special, high-quality and just gorgeous! Of course my eyes focused on the brightly-colored pieces in the store, but there were neutral items as well. And they even had a pretty nice sale section where I ended up snagging a gorgeous, black & white knit crop sweater that feels like heaven on my skin for only $30.
