I had saved some to usb but mostly not. Geeks saved everything! I've had these since 2013 and 2016 so you can imagine all the memories saved in that amount of time. One had a bad cpu and motherboard that had overheated. They saved the info on that one and moved it to the older computer which needed a new hard drive but was otherwise still very usable. Both are Acer Predators and at the time I bought them were top of the line. The repaired computer is so fast now. I'm so glad to have it back with all of my old data intact. Relieved. Geeks did all of this in one day! Any of my future repairs will go straight to them. They have a vast amount of knowledge and do so much more than simple but critical repairs. I also took them a new laptop that I wanted set up. It's a dream to use with no bloatware. This was same day service. The guy just basically jumped all over me. He was screaming at me, how busy they were and the hours they worked. I hadn't acted ugly, I just asked when they might get to me. I believe there is a lack of management problem here. Guys who can work on comuters, but have no idea how to treat customers. Very unprofessional. Actually, what I need them to work on, is the same thing they supposidly fixed before. They have to come out, it is my printer, which is new, that will not stay connected to my laptop.
