Was craving a burger after spending so much time eating Chinese food here in HK. Went with their signature foie gras burger and the truffle fries and Aperol spritz. Burger meat was mediocre and taste of foie gras was also just bland. The truffle sauce fries were ok but the odd thing was they came out way before my burger. So once I got my burger the fries were already cold. After hearing about the hype on Openrice, I had to try this place. The place was casual and you had to walk up to the counter to order. I ordered the Foie Gras Beef Burger and a side of fish fingers w/tartar sauce. I also got their homemade iced peach tea. When the burger came, it was already cut in half. The presentation didn't look really well since the top of the bun was separated from the burger and was put on the plate. The burger had foie gras, cheddar cheese, beef patty, tomato slice, romaine lettuce and their homemade sauce. It also came with a side salad. The burger was very juicy though. The combination of the foie gras with the beef worked well but the portion of foie gras was a bit too small. On the other hand, I thought the fish fingers were really juicy and fresh. I came here for a quick dinner with colleagues, and overall, the service and the food quality was adequate. This place doesn't offer full table service in that you do get a menu, but you have to order and pay for your meal at the till before they send the meal to your table. After looking at the enormous menu, I settled for a guacamole beef burger, which overall was quite nice, but I feel they were a bit overzealous with the thousand island dressing which kind of robbed the burger of its supposed guacamole flavour. Personally, I'd have suggested the use of refried beans and sour cream. The food is pretty decent here, although for what you're getting its not that great on the wallet. Maybe coming from NA there are many burger options available, so that might be part of the reason. Visited on a Sunday around 7:00 pm. It was pretty easy to find within Fashion Walk, and did not have to wait since I was alone (although probably because it was raining as well). You are seated by a host(/ess), and then proceed to order at the front register. After ordering, you receive an order number and everything is then served to you. Got the mega cheese burger, thick fries and a coke. The fries came first - I would not classify them as extremely thick, but it was good enough. Lightly salted and with a good crunchy/soft mix. On the whole, the fries were pretty short though. Not sure if it was a batching problem or to match the length of the container. Struggled with taking pictures for the burger because it was served to me with half of it already tipped over. Pretty disappointed with that but I guess in the end the taste is more important. There was definitely a lot of cheese in the burger, but was not an overload either. The burger was cooked medium, which I actually liked. I used fork and knife to avoid the mess (actually to act classy) and it worked pretty well. Mostly regular toppings with the tomato and lettuce so it was a pretty standard experience. The burger was ($105 HKD/$16 CAD), with the Fries setting you back another ($30 HKD/$5 CAD). This was my first proper burger since I've moved to HK and it was fantastic. They have a vast list of other options, beef, chicken, fish, even foie gras! Since this was my first time here and I was craving a good old fashioned burger, I went straight for the classic burger. It comes with a pretty thick patty, lettuce, tomato and their "homemade sauce". This tasted like a mixture of ketchup and mayo mixed together, and it went well with the burger. Not sure if you can ask for how you want it cooked, but by default it came out as a medium. I also got a side of twister fries (curly fries), and I was very disappointed. They were soggy, very very greasy (you can taste the oil as you bite into it), and there was barely any potato inside each piece. I think I'll try for the potato wedges next time. read more

I was a bit disappointed with the uncomfortable seats and lack of service as one needs to go to the till to order your food when a burger can cost from $75 to $110. Curly fries was good, the wings were good, and the burgers were over the top! This is not really a place I would visit frequently but once in a blue moon is ok. As a expat who moved to Hong Kong from the states, its always been a challenge and a need to find affordable good burgers. You either get Mickey D's or expensive gourmet burgers (come on, its a burger!). When Burgeroom decided to open on Fashion Walk, I was excited, hopeful and even finally ready to settle down on a burger joint in HK. I also live right next door so it would be the perfect place to grab a quick burger. I've heard from my HK friends that their other location serves good burgers. And so i went there for lunch today. Chili Burger + fries and drink combo for HKD 106. Maybe its because I had high expectations or that its located on fashion walk but i was sorely disappointed with this burger. Coming from the US, i know what a good burger is and this is not definitely not it especially for almost $14 USD! I give them at least 2 stars for their very friendly service. The waitress even gave me a loyalty card so when i make my 10th burger purchase, I get the 11th for free (but only valid for the cheapest and plain burger). Still nice and if it was good, i would fill it up fast. The burger came out and from the first glance looks huge in the basket. Fries looked fresh too. However when you pick up the burger, you notice the fundamental mistake in Burgeroom's burger. The bun is oversized for their tiny but thick patty. The think and wide bun makes holding the burger messy and complicated and leads all the inside to slide toward the last few bites making your finders messy and you just dont want to finish the bread. How do you even mess that up? The patty and bun should be somewhat lined up so they can be grabbed together! Think the patty and spread it out so it reaches near the edge of the bunch! The beef patty was cooked medium to medium well which is not my preference for a burger and at 14 USD for the meal, i could have gone to Mickey D's and be more satisfied. Fries were at room temperature so i'm assuming they were sat out for a while because my order came 2 mins after placing it. Speaking of Chili Burger, a chili burger is made using chili con carne like a chili dog or sloppy joe! Burgeroom's version of chili burger is slapping spicy coleslaw in your burger almost like kimchi. What the heck is that? It didnt even taste spicy! For the good point of this place, the service was great. The lady in front greeted me with a smile, showed me the menu and let me order in peace. She came to check up on me during my meal and gave me the loyalty card to entice me to come again. Bottom line: great staffs but unmemorable burger. Skip! read more

I was rather disappointed at the burger here. I had seen so many pictures of it on Instagram so I suggested it when my friends and I were looking for a quick lunch. Everything here was just meh. The burger was meh. The beef lacked flavor and I dislike places where fries or any other side doesn't come with the burger. The serve was meh. In all fairness, this is a type of place where you go to the counter and order and someone will bring your food to you so I don't expect the service to be incredible. The pricing was meh. One of the worst burgers that I have ever had on top of pathetic service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium with French fries and a glass of red wine. The burger appeared at my table in less than 3 minutes.... it was charred on outside, beyond well done inside and Luke warm..... obviously not cooked fresh.... precooked and micro wave reheated. The wine was OK and my French fries never appeared. I am From Los Angeles .... an In and Out burger is better. I got a refund for the not served French fries, finished my wine and left. Went to Burger Room with a small group of 4. Waited about 5 mins for table on Saturday night. Order at counter and they bring the food to the table. Service was good and staff friendly. Ordered the Bacon and Cheese Burger. It was really big and the patty was juicy. Burger was very delicious! Highly recommended. read more

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Hands down the best burger place in HK! We have tried quite a few since we moved here and this place is the best! The menu is unbeatable and the service is great! It's a walk-up but it has all the feels of a great sit down place. You can pretty much get any burger you want and add mushrooms or things like that. Highly recommended!! And it's not overpriced like some of the other burger places here. Don't eat at that crappy BLT Burger in Times Square...doesn't even come close to this place!! read more
