Not a bad burger patty. Buns and burger itself pretty greasy. Wouldn't rush back. Fast service though

Before you growl at me, I'm not a Reuben fan but my partner is so I made this difficult sacrifice…read moreto satisfy him. It took me a long time to make a choice here but boy was I disappointed to find they delivered my "roasted sandwich" as a goddamn burger. That is always a toss up these days, cafes calling a burger a sandwich or a sandwich a burger. Whatever the case, that was the deciding factor for me. That aside, the location of this fast food option pre-movies is one of the better choices at Macquarie Park. Meaning one of the few non-Asian options. My partner ordered pretty much the whole menu as you'll see from the pictures and enjoyed the lot of it. I sort of just watched him eat whilst I tch-ed at my burger/sandwich. Oh well, at least it wasn't a rip off and I had some duck fat potatoes to munch on. Won't be making this sacrifice in the near future.

After a trip to the states I'd been looking for a place in Sydney that sold decent reuben…read moresandwiches so I was pretty excited when I saw a review for Reuben & Moore! Firstly the downside is that its in Macquarie Centre. Unfortunately this place has grown 'too big' and parking somewhere remotely close and getting in is an effort. That aside its a great little store with seating that overlooks the ice skating rink. Their reuben isn't the traditional corned beef or pastrami but salted beef instead. Can't complain though - still tasted great and they sliced it nice and thickly right in front of me as they made it. Not the cheapest sandwich you'll buy - but they taste great and the servings are huge. I'll definitely be back again!

Dorothy we ain't in Kansas anymore. Heck, we so far north of Texas we is in Australia (da long way…read moreround). The problem with Ribs 'n' Rumps is that Texas exists. And Texas BBQ has infiltrated Australia, in many guises and forms in recent years. Sadly, whilst I would have visited RNR a decade ago and been delighted, these days it just doesn't cut the brisket. Whilst the ribs themselves were cooked well, and had plenty of meat, the flavour was boring, sugary BBQ. No smoke, no depth, nothing to make me eat past the first mouthful really. Plain flavours for unrefined palates. RNR is a little disjointed in this location also. The waitstaff are all trying to serve your table. So, even though you get an individual server who takes your order, every single server that passes your table from the kitchen will ask if the order they are holding is yours... Now, that's just sloppy. The meal is also off-the-charts expensive. When two peeps spend in excess of $150 to have dinner, you kinda don't expect the rookie service + bland flavour 1-2 punch combo. You expect something with some wow factor. An uppercut of intensity, or a surprising haymaker of smoke. No surprises here, just disappointment from a pretender unable to fight its way out of the wet paper bag. Whilst I enjoyed the company (5 stars!) the food and ambience left me wanting. Wanting texas. Wanting smoke. Dreaming of the Salt Lick, hand made lemonade, all you can eat platters of pork ribs, sausage and brisket for $20 and mouth-watering mesquite meat!

It is located nearby many office buildings so a convenient place for workers to go for lunch. The fish and chips were good and came with salad as well. It wasn't a big, whole piece, so if you like smaller pieces this is for you. Batter wasn't overly dry or oily, so made for a pleasant meal.

You shouldn't have to be banned at the bar if you are 'only' getting coffee or an expensive smoothie. With Mr Hangrypants distracted by a sneaker store down the way, I lined up alone to get a table as there was a bit of a queue. "Table for two?" I was asked almost immediately. Crikey, she must have seen us coming a mile away. Bill arrived as I was being shown to our table and we were efficiently given menus and then not forgotten about despite the place being jammed. We ordered food and coffee and the drinks arrived almost immediately, again, as I already mentioned, despite the place being jammed. A little while later our food arrived piping hot, again, and I can not be more emphatic about this, DESPITE THE PLACE BEING JAMMED! This sort of efficient service just doesn't happen in suburban Sydney. The coffee at The Missing Piece is great. The food is top quality. We had Big Breakfasts or "The Complete Picture", in keeping with the theme. Standard price at $18. I was thoroughly impressed all round with my experience and will be back. The only downer is that the OJ is really some kind of Orange Fruit Drink and I did come here one time early on in the piece and they served my tea with milk in a syringe on the side. I hope they have stopped that off putting little nod to modern cafe hipsterism. Other than that, all good in the hood (if North Ryde could indeed be described as a hood...)
