All three businesses are popular, as residents in these buildings drop by them often. It's a short walk over. After I took in the first PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) playoff game between Toronto and Minnesota, I was heading home and needed a bite to eat. I remembered this BK and decided to drop by. The drive-thru at this BK is open till 2 am. It was perfect for my needs, as I hit the drive-thru at roughly 11 pm on a Wednesday night. I got a friendly, polite man speaking to me at the drive-thru. It was still Whopper Wednesday, so I got the Whopper combo with fries and a Diet Coke. He let me know how much it was and I headed over to the window to pay. He was such a nice, professional person. I paid with a debit card. I tapped and was good. It took little time for my food and drink to be handed to me. I thanked him and left. I ended up parking by the Timmy's next door. This Timmy's was packed with folks enjoying themselves inside the joint. Luckily, I was chowing down in the comfort of my car. My Whopper was yummy. I liked how fresh the tomato and lettuce were. I got a generous number of pickle slices. The flame-broiled beef patty was yummy. The bun was great. The fries were yummy. They were crispy and hot, with the right amount of salt. I loved my Diet Coke. It was cold and hit the spot. I continued to drink it driving home after I was done eating. It was nice to return to this Burger King for food. I don't know whether the interior has changed since I last dined in. Perhaps I'll do that next time when it's open. (207)

After work last Wednesday, I paid this eatery a visit for an early dinner. I had no problem finding this eatery and a parking spot. I backed into a spot close to the main doors and headed inside. I had already placed my order through the app and got the following: - Whopper - Half-sies - Medium Diet Coke - Strawberry sundae It was Whopper Wednesday, which meant that my combo was $8.49 before taxes. Yay! I used the women's washroom. It was clean. I used it again before I headed home. I liked that the sink area had a large surface to put my drink down. I headed to the pickup counter. It was busy at around 3 pm. Customers were polite, but a bit awkward. A young woman said sorry when she needed ketchup and wanted to grab some. Probably saying excuse me would have been better. She didn't need to be sorry for anything. Then, there was an older gentleman who used excuse me correctly. I think he wanted to grab a drink from the fountain drink machine. Another man was standing nearby, but wasn't blocking access to the machine. It was different. I waited patiently for my order. I saw a nice man make my strawberry sundae and then put my entire order into a paper bag. He also gave me my cup for the fountain drink. I filled it up with Diet Coke. I went back for a refill midway through my meal. I thanked him. I grabbed my paper bag, drink, and sundae, and found a table to sit down and eat. The purple upholstery in my booth had seen better days. I loved the colour so much. I had my sundae first, which seems to be a habit that I have at BK. In the past, I'd have my meal and then the sundae. The problem was that the sundae melts. It's better to enjoy it first. It's my favourite sundae. I loved the strawberry chunks and the sauce on top of the soft serve. It was enjoyable mixing everything together. It was cold, but soft and yummy. My Whopper was delicious. I remembered to say no to the onions when I customized my burger online. It hit the spot. I got half-sies. I love getting some fries and some onion rings. It's the best combination. The fries and onion rings were perfect. I sat by the window. I realized that I was looking at the drive-thru. It looked like I was in the forest with all the trees. It was a nice escape. I enjoyed dining here. The food and drink were yummy. It was relaxing dining in. I'd return again for more good eats. (113)

I remembered seeing a deal in my inbox from Subway. I could take 20% off my order. Yes, please! I was in the Malvern area of Scarborough. I did a search and found this Subway close by. It's next to a Burger King, in the same plaza as Petit Delights and Queens Takeout. Through the Subway app, I ordered the following items: - Foot-long cold cuts sub on Italian bread - Bottled Diet Pepsi - White chocolate macadamia and mini M&M's cookies I got an estimated time of fifteen minutes for my order to be ready. I'd arrive a bit early. It was straightforward driving over to this eatery. I backed into a parking spot and waited for five minutes before I headed inside. It looked pretty new. It was my first time seeing kiosks to place orders at any Subway. It was cool. I was the only customer in the store. Three staffers were clustered in a corner. I indicated that I had an order. One of them handed my order over in a large paper bag. I felt it. My bottled drink and sub were definitely in it. I thanked all three of them and headed to my car. I then drove home. I was happy to dig in. My bottle of Diet Pepsi was still cold. It washed everything down nicely. I loved my cold cuts sub. The deli meats were generous. I loved the veggies and bread. It's comfort food to me. I grew up eating sandwiches with deli meats. I had ordered a mini M&M's cookie. I guess that the place didn't have any, so I got two white chocolate macadamia cookies. It was fine. However, maybe some communication on the swap would have been nice. I liked dropping by to fetch dinner here. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (123)

I pulled out my Harvey's app and found an angus burger combo for $9.99 before taxes. Perfect! I ordered these items: - Angus burger - Onion rings - Large Diet Pepsi - Apple pie I got an estimated time that my order would be ready to pick up. I took my time getting to this restaurant. This eatery looked fairly new. It's located in a small plaza with a lot of construction. There was a danger sign warning folks about open excavation. It was not your typical sign! I hit the drive-thru. When I got to the order area, I indicated that I had an order and rattled off my name. The woman found my order and said that I could drive up to the window. There was one vehicle ahead of me. When I got to the window, a friendly woman who talked quickly said hi. She grabbed my drink and paper bag with my food. She wished me a great day. I reciprocated and drove away slowly. I ended up parking briefly to put my food in an insulated bag. I then drove home. I had dinner once I was home. This meal was perfect. I loved my angus burger. It was flavourful and juicy. I liked customizing my toppings. Garlic mayo is a must. I customized mine with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and relish. I was happy. My onion rings were so good. They were crispy and the onions were naturally sweet. I upgraded my drink to a large Diet Pepsi. I needed it to wash everything down, including my crispy apple pie. The filling was so good. The drink was crispy, cold, and perfect. Ordering through the Harvey's app does have its advantages. My Scene+ card is a part of my profile, so I'm always collecting points when I made a purchase. I also had a gift card as part of my payment method. I used it to pay for my meal, which felt like I had won the jackpot. I had an excellent experience at this Harvey's. I'd return for more good eats and drinks when I'm in the area again. (171)

I found out that Harvey's has a deal with its original beef and veggie burgers. You can get two for $8. If you want to mix and match them, it all works. I had no idea where the nearest Harvey's was from the borders of Toronto, Scarborough, and Markham. I did a search and realized that there's this one further south on Victoria Park, before you hit highway 401. It's funny. I have blown past this location many times. I've never stopped by. I also knew that there was an Chinese grocery store in the same plaza. Here's to another cool stop at two stores that I needed. The drive down was smooth. It took perhaps ten minutes. I had to make a left turn into the plaza. It took a bit of time, but I eventually made a safe turn. I did grocery shopping first. I had backed into a spot that directly faced the drive-thru, steps away from the grocery store's entrance. When I was done, I simply drove straight ahead to place my order at the drive-thru. I had a nice woman on the other end taking my order. I ordered two original beef burgers. I went with my standard toppings on both: lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and relish. She was so friendly. There was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind. This Harvey's is also a Swiss Chalet. Excellent! I was drooling looking at the poutine on the menu. I love poutine. Harvey's does poutine well. I paid with a debit card. The woman had the payment machine taped to a hockey stick. Love! The transaction was smooth. I wonder if that hockey stick is ever used on deadbeat customers who don't pay. Hmm... I got my food in a paper bag. I thanked her and left. When I got home, I had my food. I loved the original burger. It was the right size. The flame-broiled beef patty was yummy. The toppings were perfect. I was a bit rusty and realized that my usual mayo is garlic mayo. These burgers hit the spot for dinner. The next day, I returned for the same deal. Yep, I was back less than 24 hours later. Instead, I got original and veggie burgers. With the latter, you have the option of getting a regular or multigrain bun. I had never had the multigrain bun before, so I chose it. The veggie burger is pretty good here. It tastes like a regular beef patty. It wasn't dry. It had good flavour. I'd do it again. The multigrain bun made me feel like I was eating healthier... haha! I went with garlic mayo, along with lettuce, tomatoes, and relish. Both burgers tasted much better. Garlic is everything. I dig this Harvey's. I need to get poutine next time, but I keep dreaming about this burger deal. Maybe when it's gone, I'll get the poutine. The woman who took my order during my second visit as equally as pleasant and nice as the woman from the previous night. Staff are awesome. I appreciated it. I'll be back. I'll try to not eat here every day. (13)

I ended up parking at another spot, which would allow me to enter the drive-thru without ruining my car once my order was ready. There were two cars ahead of mine when I did hit the drive-thru.
