Today was the 5th time I've been there and have gotten a stale bun!! They used to be good until the last year or so.

How is it that you can see/smell this place cooking burgers all day long but can never actually get a hot, fresh one??? Burgers are always cold, fries are very often stale... Save yourself the potential food poisoning & eat ANYWHERE else. read more

I do not take pleasure in writing one star ratings. However, I feel the need to do a public service announcement for the safety of its employees and customers of this Burger King location. Was driving by and was looking to grab a quick bite I walked into the restaurant and the smell of old oil and a dirty kitchen just smacks me in the face. I looked around and thought this is unacceptable for a major fast food chain to be in this condition. Within approximately 30 seconds, I had to walk out. I felt there is a high risk of getting sick if I order anything. I advise the Burger King corporate office to please look into this restaurant. They are doing a disservice to the BK brand and will get many of their customers sick. I should have looked at the previous reviews before parking. I am coming back 3 years after my previous review, this place this absolutely disgusting, the lobby is so gross. They do not clean anything, there is stains all over the lobby walls, everything is sticky, the soda machine looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, the tables and chairs are dirty and gross, the nastiest part is the bathroom that are literally falling apart, also the old woman once agin I'm complaining about her 3 years later she is always rude and complaining about something when I walk in, I wish I had the energy to contact corporate but I do not care enough, hopefully someone will get this place shut down and done right, also food is never cooked right or always cold 3 years ago: They turn every light off in the building past 4 o'clock to make it look like they aren't open the place looks run down the menu sign doesn't have lights and is broken, the place is run by teenagers that can't get a single thing right, the old b...h manger is rude as hell never coming here again, surprised this shit hole is still open read more

On our last two visits I received a receipt slip that was unreadable, denying me the survey code number to apply for the coupon for a free whopper. When I asked the employee (name of Tas) for a readable printout she told me the problem is with the printer and she could not issue a readable printout. She told me if I wanted a clear printout I had to go thru the drive thru. I told her I do not use the drive thru, I am inside to sit down. This place is horrible. The dining is terrible, gross, and disgusting! Never eat here again every single fast food is better than this and I would rather starve to death than eat this food! The fires are sorry and wet, the burgers suck, the drink fountain is weirdly colored when you pour soda with multiple different colors, and the service is horrible. I swear I've been treated better in a mugging than I've been treated by the staff of this place. The manager, "princess" or "peaches" or some other insane name, acts as if taking an order is the most grueling experience she's ever had. I can't believe this place is still in business. It's filthy and has had awful service for over a decade. The food is always stale. It's time that this place is replaced. It would be nice to be able to grab a quick bite in the middle of town without being treated like an enemy of the state. Horrible, The app said free snickers pie with any purchase, so ordered 5 dollars worth and chose the pie, then they gave me the food and they said we don't do he pie deal so call Burger King customer service. And would not refund money, service is horrible when the owners work there, and usually dirty inside. read more

Horrible service here in Drive-thru! 1.) took order with coupon from their app, asked for the number and the. Asked for number and to see it at pick up! 2.) Would not take a second order at the drive thru, claimed they cannot. Every other drive thru restaurant including other Burger King's do! 3.) screwed up the order royally even with the wrapper marked, with heavy pickles and no ketchup they Super doused with ketchup and not one single pickle! Had we had more time, I would have walked the order inside with attitude for correction. This is by far the worst Burger King location on the east coast, possibly even in the country. I stopped going here after the eighth time of getting an order that ended up being wrong when I got home. Three times I went back to complain and ended up in an argument with the store manager, black girl with classy chest tattoos (sarcasm). After boycotting the place, my mom accidentally went there today not knowing my prior experiences. Arrived a little after 8pm. Had bad service here before but there are seldom any food places open late in this town. Firstly, the cashier had a dirty appearance. He also had open wounds on his hands (I wanted to leave but my company was tired of driving around). I ordered a whopped meal....The fries were stale! Cold, unsalted, bland, and hard. The girls tonight must be new. Rudest people I've ever met and I typically don't have issues here. She clearly couldn't hear me over the speaker which is fine. I could speak up. But the girl was an actual bitch. I said orange soda 3 times and she yelled at me until I said Fanta as if she couldn't understand that Fanta is just the brand of orange soda they carry. Worst Burger King is an understatement. The women taking my order gave me attitude about my coupon that I had received in the mail, putting emphasis on the fact that the sheet had PERFORATED paper and my coupon could easily be separated without scissors. This explosion of frustration was followed by the coupon being aggressively swiped from my hands. When I finally got my order, I was met with a lack of sauce that I had asked for twice. After asking again, the request was met with a sigh. The food made the equation worse, soggy chicken nuggets as if they had been boiled. Stale fries to boot. Horrible service I literally ordered onion rings and a double cheese burger plain how hard is that!!! Well first the guy hands me my food and the other kid comes running screaming no wait the kid gave me old onion rings and just left it alone I got down the road went to eat one it was so hard I literally broke a tooth! Stopped in with only two cars in the parking lot and no one at the drive thru. The person taking orders same on to the speaker and stated "welcome to Burger King we will be with you when we can get to it." I waited a few minutes with no one taking my order so I pulled up to the window to see two teenage employees with no customers. This is the absolute worst run Burger King I have ever seen. I am a little frustrated about the experience I had today at this Burger King. I have been using digital gift cards at this Burger King for a few years now. I have gone through the drive through 4-6 times to use them and have never had any issue or complaints. Today I went through the drive through and there was a nice young man who was obviously new that didn't know how to take them, which was fine, but when he asked for help from his supervisor--a blonde woman--she came up to the window and treated me like I was the worst person to have come up to her window all day and like I didn't care about what they were doing. She was adamant that they could only accept gift cards inside even though I told her that I had used them in the past through the same drive through and never had any problems. I apologized and said that I would have gone in if I had known, which is true. She never offered to have me pull into the front and complete my order inside. Instead she was very mean about it and was not giving very nice customer service. I realize that the drive through is timed and if I had known that this Burger King preferred to take digital gift cards inside (of which none is stated in the franchise's stated terms on the gift card) then I would have. If it had been suggested nicely that I go inside right after, I would have. Please speak with your employees about how to speak to customers when an issue occurs because this situation should have and could have ended differently. I could not afford to buy food today without my gift card so I unfortunately had to leave without my order being completed because no one would take the time to solve the issue in a kind, amicable way. There is no reason that today should have been this way. I am a repeat customer who enjoys the occasional hamburger or milkshake. I go often throughout the week after or before work when I am in a rush for time. I am very disappointed in today's experience and am posting this review in hopes that the owners of this franchise will see it and speak with the employees about how this could have gone differently. I understand it can be frustrating to face an issue at work which is out of the ordinary or something that one may not be used to, but it definitely should be handled with care so that your customers return. Drove up to see the drive thru was at least 8 cars deep on a Monday night a little before 7. So I decided to head in. Back door was locked so I went to the front door which was also locked. Mind you this is near 7pm at night. I knocked on window and at least 2 employees totally ignored me when finally the manager said you have to go through the drive thru. How about putting a sign on the window people or manage the place to have enough people to handle the workload. I worked here for 2 months when money was tight for me and I can personally attest to the fact that employees are not required to wear gloves when handling food. Also the manager advised another manager to wash the ceiling above where the sandwich toppings were (lettuce, tomato slices) with no regard for the fact that the cleaner was dripping onto the food. Most of the reviews r from a couple of years ago, happily i can report its much better. The people are nice and the food is always served hot. The soda machine has tons of options (one of the new touchscreen versions) and the place is cleaner than any burger king ive been too. My wife and daughter stopped for takeout at the drive thru,she had coupon for free whopper .She also ordered four other sandwiches at the two for five,and the fries and drink required for the free whopper.Kid at window was terrible charged her for the free whopper just threw the sandwiches in the bag .When i opened them they were a mess lettuce not on the sandwich but all around the packaging very sloppily put together.I called the manager he told me the kid was a little slow he was having a hard time training him then he shouldn't be on the drive thru. he says comeback and ill give you the difference like i live next door its twenty minutes away,we will never go to that burger king in Sparta again sounds like the just don't care.Thank god there is a new BK opening up in Succasunna soon went there a lot before the started the rebuild. read more
