I haven't had a Smashburger in forever and this hit all the marks! I love how it is me to order and custom, even down to the bun! There's plenty of seating even outdoor picnic tables. The only thing I found was strange. There wasn't a trashcan outside, so I had to go back inside to throw away the trash. Also, they do not give napkins for to go order and it's very messy!!!

This place had a name change a while ago from Baker Street Burgers to BD4 A Burger Joint. I had…read morealways liked the former place because of friendly staff, nice bar, and atmosphere. The staff is still friendly and our server was attentive. But the vibe has changed. The music in the background was louder and the acoustics in the room is echoey, so that was slightly annoying. I can't compare the new vs old menus side by side but it seems like there were fewer food options (but many burger options) and upscaled prices. (Not unexpected with today's inflated costs for food and energy). I opted for the basic BSB cheeseburger and fries $17, and a draft lager beer $8. Total bill with tip ~$32. We had separate checks but all were similar totals. The burger was a stack of two thin patties rather than one thicker one. They were maybe slightly undercooked (ordered medium, but I didn't send it back). Flavor was Ok. So in a word my overall rating is "meh"; not a place I'll be going back to soon. There are plenty of beer "joints" in town with a better "burger and a beer".

The burger was juicy with a great balance of toppings, and the bun held up perfectly without getting soggy. The cheese curds were super delicious with a crispy coating and soft, melty center that made them hard to stop eating. The dipping sauce paired with them was so good too. My food came out hot and fast, and the whole experience felt like the kind of quality you hope for from a good food truck. I'll definitely be back.

The chicken nuggets seemed like they had potential to be good but were somewhat dried out from being overcooked. The order took just over 15 minutes to be ready which seemed like a lot considering the order was small and there wasn't exactly a line. I do plan on going back at some point when it's just myself but I would never try and feed my family from here. Just the two burgers and chicken nuggets were almost $40 after taxes and tip which I feel is a lot for a light lunch.

My wife had their American burger and that was excellent too! Perfectly cooked, tomato, lettuce, thick cut pickles, and cheese!

I ordered a flight so I could sample many. The samples were large. The food was excellent. Menu options extend beyond typical pub fare. You can't beat the outdoor seating with river view, unless it was hot like when we visited. We opted for indoor seating in the cooled environment. Staff was excellent.

The best part of the restaurant is the draft wall. You can choose from multiple types of beer, mixed drinks, or straight liquor for mixing yourself. It added fun to the experience pouring your own beverages. The bar is very spacious and allows for multiple seating scenarios from high tops to regular chairs, to couches.
