Who knows where else the dog goes during off hours if allowed in during business? We cancelled our order and left. We went to another restaurant in town and mentioned this to the owner there and they agreed it was wrong. And also proceeded to tell us rules even concerning service dogs in a restaurant. ( Which obviously is a different situation and they don't roam dining areas). This is California Health Code Violation. Needless to say we won't be eating here again. The Code: H&SC § 114259.5 prohibits live animals inside, citing potential contamination of food, equipment, and utensils.

She said they would provide two chicken skewers at no charge, but I would still be responsible for paying for the original meal. What made this even more confusing was that the original plate included rice and salad, while the replacement consisted only of two skewers. If the restaurant was willing to replace the meal, I do not understand why a full replacement plate was not offered. It also did not make sense that I was expected to pay for a meal I did not enjoy while only receiving a partial replacement to take home. Although I agreed to the solution, what bothered me most was the change in attitude afterward. The waitress became noticeably less friendly, and both she and another employee seemed rude when I went to pay my bill. It felt as though I was being treated poorly simply because I did not enjoy the recommended dish.
