Steven J.

Sad experience. Staff were friendly but incredibly confused. Made me wait out front for the food which was confusing because there were no other customers waiting. The food was literally awful. I'm not sure if it's just this location, but wow. What a letdown! Old, tired burgers that have seemingly shrunk in size.... even the chicken fries sucked!!

Spicy Ch'King Sandwich Meal. Pretty sad

Good service at the counter and the manager was doing a good job training the new employee. The spicy chicken was anything but spicy. There was barely any sauce on the chicken, but the actual chicken was a nice size white meat portion. The fries were nice and hot. They were missing quite a few drinks in the soda machine (Coke Freestyle machine). Overall a decent option in the area and the only reason I stopped in.

This has to be the worst Burger King I've ever been too. After placing my order, I paid for my food and they told me to pull to the front and 15 minutes later I had to go inside and get my food which was still not ready and all the employees were just standing there frozen not even doing a damn thing. Please close this location and turn it to a gas station..... yeah after posting this, I had to add to it because the food is horrible. How can this food be so fresh and taste like garbage. I would go back for a refund, but I don't even waste my time.

Chicken fries in the air fryer at home, because they were given to us frozen!

Recommend: wow! yes! Food: Delicious…read moreAmbiance: it is clean and feels comfortable here. Like we're part of the seven brother Hawaii home. Service: they really care about their customers. They were over the top great. Logan was also helpful and I didn't get the cashier name, but he was really nice and helpful too. This was my first time here and I got the Pinolo and the flavors were great and went well with each other. The burger also has a grilled pineapple and added sweetness to it. Everything I ate was really good. We also order the garlic lover shrimp and that reminded me back in Hawaii. This first visit became one of my favorite spots now.

The burgers are legitimately gourmet, served on soft brioche buns, but still priced reasonably enough that it doesn't feel like you're paying "gourmet burger" prices. The Spenser calls my name every time I walk in, and I've only managed to deviate from it once. That one time, I tried the chicken sandwich. Visually, it's a little less impressive and the chicken looks somewhat thin, but the garlic aioli absolutely brings it across the finish line. It's much better than it looks. They're also very proud of their shakes at $6.50. They're good, but I can't quite say they're worth the price unless you're really craving a shake. Overall, great burgers, incredibly friendly service, good atmosphere, and prices that still feel reasonable. Seven Brothers has become an easy go-to.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.

There was no smile, greeting, or sense that we were happy to be there. Our server was very nice personally, but the service was incredibly disorganized. What made it even more frustrating was that she only had two tables, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband's meal never came out, and she did not even notice that he was still waiting for it. While we were waiting for his food, she brought us a drink we had never ordered. She also filled my kids' lemonades with water. The food was just as disappointing. The salmon was extremely dry and hard, and the pasta noodles my kids ordered were hard as well. After waiting and realizing my husband's meal was never coming, we asked for the bill. At that point, our server actually asked if my husband was ready to order... even though he had already ordered and had been waiting for his meal the entire time. Our bill ended up being high, which made the experience even more frustrating because we spent that much money and left feeling like we received essentially nothing worth coming back for. We all left hungry. Mistakes happen, but this was not one small mistake. It was a series of issues with the service, drinks, food, and basic attentiveness, especially considering the restaurant was not busy. For the amount we paid, we expected a completely different experience. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

The young man who dropped off our food had dirt under his nails. Maybe have servers wear gloves or wash their hands and have a cleaner environment when bringing out food. He was super super nice but said he was bringing everything out as it was done, so the food was brought out a plate at a time. First was my sides. The beans are more of a chili not your typical pinto beans. They were ok. The flour tortillas were wrapped in paper. They were extremely hard and were definitely it fresh and soft as you would expect. The steak fajitas them selves were ok. I added a picture. I guess ordering fajitas at a non Mexican place is the reason they were under whelming. My husband did enjoy his burger and fries. Our friends enjoyed their salads. The fajita salad was a salad and just the steak portion like my fajitas. I also ordered a prickly pear margarita. I couldn't finish it. The ingredients did not taste homemade. My friend ordered a house margarita and it was a little better. I would definitely stick to house margarita in the rocks with tajin rim. Adam was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

Even several feet away, the smell of the burgers grilling is mouthwatering. This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!). We also ordered the Inferno Cluck which is their take on Nashville hot chicken, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, crunchy onions on a 10-inch hoagie. Honestly, unless you were just starving, this is big enough to split with someone. It's a huge sandwich, all the more so with the generous side order of fries. I love spicy so I asked them to add their Raising Pain sauce. It does kick things up a notch and since it is served on the side, you should get it too. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I ended up abandoning the hoagie and just focusing on the generous portion of chicken. YUM! Several types of fries are on offer. The fries are SO crisp. These are exactly how you want fries to be served. I tried customizing mine to the ginger wasabi fries but they were sadly out. We ended up upgrading to the Yum Yum fries which are smothered with their house-made cheese sauce, chopped ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and gold sauce. Delicious but a meal unto itself. We also had the Arizona fries which are the spicy version with Chipotle aioli and jalapenos. Delicious but a meal alone. The website listed some yummy-sounding dessert options but they had been crossed off the sandwich board when we visited. Perhaps they only do dessert for catering events now. Although based in the San Tan Valley, Yum Rockets pops up around the Valley. You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. Truly one of the best out there!
