Some of my favorites are the Downtown Deluxe, steak and shrimp, menudo, and the Swiss burger. There's something for everyone, and I always leave satisfied. Christina and her son were always super helpful and attentive, it got really busy during lunch hour and they always made sure we got everything. We ordered a few dishes to share because we had breakfast not long ago, we got the fried chicken dinner, club sandwiches, and pasta with meat sauce. I enjoyed the fried chicken, super crispy, juicy and tender meat, the flavor is wonderful and not too salty. Also me and my dad appreciated the sautéed fresh vegetables instead of mushy steamed ones most places have! Shoestring fires were great I love the thin fries better! I think the dinner rolls were super soft, chewy, and fluffy, goes so well with their yellow butter. Pasta was delicious, super herby and you can tell they used plenty of vegetables and ground meat to make it hearty! The place was such a gem, I felt like we didn't get much time to enjoy everything since it was supposed to be a quick lunch! Definitely would recommend and will come back when we are in the area. The drinks are phenomenal and cheap. We enjoyed the old fashioned drinks (north of the border and the Serrano) were so good. The north of the border was sweet and strong, but not overly sweet. The Serrano had a tasty Smokey flavor. the lavender gin drink (step daughter). The Bloody Mary was tasty. It had salt on one side of the rim and tajin on the other. The hangover cure is a beast! It is a Bloody Mary with lots of food appetizers! You can definitely share with someone. You cannot go wrong with any drinks here. I went here 3 days in one week to try out the menu, I will most definitely return.

Absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the place has a strict "no refunds whatsoever" policy, which tells me they already know customers won't be happy. When I walked in, the restaurant was practically empty -- now I understand why. I ordered carne asada fries, and they were a complete disappointment. No beans (which are supposed to come with it), the fries tasted old and hard, and the carne asada itself was fatty and chewy. For a meal that cost me $73, I left feeling completely ripped off. As a 40-year-old woman who has eaten at plenty of Mexican restaurants over the years, I can confidently say this place is not worth the money, the time, or the disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

Does anybody remember when Burger King used to be good food? Now it's just a competition to see who can run the worst restaurant and somehow stay in business. The Phelan location is definitely in the top runners. My best advice is to only go in there to serve penance for your sins. You'd better have started praying before you get there too, because Lord knows you're gonna need some patience to deal with the wonderful idiots who pretend to work there. read more

Then my girlfriends double double has stale, burnt, and cold buns and very mildly warm patty's, and the fries just aren't very fresh, i mean their making fries all day and somehow they are left and not being given out fresh? Night crew though? Good lettuce size, not as nearly as small and flaky as day, the patty's? Fresh, fries? Fresh, buns? Just toasted, I forgot to mention drinks earlier, but i got a LITE lemonade today from day shift, you would've thought i drank 10 warheads, sweet, and somehow warm, the ice melted like 5 minutes after leaving so i just had a hot sugary drink, but anyway, night shift? Cold, tasteful drinks, and the food looks good, presentation is good, the service is good. Management should definitely look for these differences themselves. Still love in n out though, just felt like some of the people that only get to go during the day, should get the same treatment us night eaters get.
