The custard had a strong chocolate flavor and I think I prefer it to Culver's chocolate. The burgers had the nice crispy smashed edges, but I do prefer having the butter on there like Culver's butterburgers do. The dining room is relatively small and all tables were full by the time our meal was ready at about 1:15 on a Saturday. They also have concrete tables outside for dining. It was a decent lunch and I'd visit a Freddy's again.

The root beer float was good but nothing memorable. My soda wasn't full and they didn't even do refills. They are a picnic area with several benches and a pretty clean bathroom. Glad we tried this classic drive-in, but probably wouldn't go out of our way to return.

Sandwich composition at this location is shoddy. Condiments are often smeared outside on the bread. Requests for "Extra" of a condiment is handled very poorly: Rather than adding an extra line or so, the condiment is placed on both sides of the meat. While this thins out the layer so that you're not biting into a pure layer of condiment, the meat no longer has any traction in between the bread. Combined with the fact that JJ's bread is of a firmer variety, this leads to the entire contents of the sandwich spilling out, even when you request to have the bread hollowed beforehand. On occasion, the food comes warm. These are not issues I've experienced at other locations. There were extras paid for that I did not receive. The first time I submitted a complaint for this, it was kindly remedied with a gift card. However, it has since continued happening, specifically with the avocado. I'm not sure why they are so hesitant to give it to me. Sad to say that I can't recommend the location near me, since I've enjoyed the chain at most other places I've lived in.

When we got home we found that steak very tough and they hadn't put the sherry cream sauce. So in essence all I got was dry noodles and tough steak. About 5 minutes later we were told it would be another 15 minutes because they were slammed with online orders. I asked why they got priority over us and was told I would have to talk to the manager. The manger looked at us but just continue to go about making meals. We left 15 later never speaking with the manger. We went to the noodles in Neenah , about 10 miles away and were in and out in exact 12 minutes. When I want my noodles fix I will go to Neenah.
