The food was typical BK, which is what one expects, and the dining area was clean. I liked that they served lunch items early. I found the service to be somewhat friendly. This location has a play area for the kiddos, and a drive-thru, but not the usual BK wi-fi. Overall, A-OK. read more

My husband and I were traveling through Iowa and wanted to stop and grab an early lunch. We were happy to see the lobby was open because we drive a dually and it's difficult to fit through the drive-thru. We parked and walked up to the doors and they were locked... the sign on the door said the lobby is open 8am - 10pm. We decided to try and go through the drive thru and as we were ordering our lunch the guy said they weren't serving lunch yet. It was 10:50am and they had the lunch menu up in the drive-thru... we ended up leaving without ordering anything. The building looked run down and the parking lot was completely empty. This place needs help! The volume of flies is simply unacceptable. Flies simply mean that there is food residue in the drains and they aren't being hydrojetted on a regular basis. There were also a disgusting amount of flies in bathrooms. The signage out front is torn above the play area and the place looks generally unkept. If this is a franchised-owned store....clearly the owner is not present. If it is a corporate store...shame on Burger King. Avoid at all costs. read more

If I could leave zero stars if I could we stopped here on our way back north from Omaha. We were the only people here. It was 5:30 PM. We had to wait 15 minutes for three burgers and fries. The fries were not fresh and we could tell that they had sat in a warmer for hours easily. Flies everywhere, sticky dirty tables everywhere. We had just got our food at the top of the dinner hour, and the two ladies working there vanished while we were eating. Two people tried to come inside while we were eating. They couldn't get in, because they *locked the doors* while we were eating. Their business hours stated, as well as their sign, that they were open until 10. We very quickly got creeped out and left without finishing. We will not return. There is a McDonalds down the road. Go there. read more

Tried this BK again in 2021. It still hasn't changed in 5 years. My order was all screwed up. I ordered a rodeo burger meal, I got a bacon double cheeseburger meal. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger meal, I got a whopper meal. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich....They don't have grilled chicken?? So I had to settle for crispy chicken. I had to wait in the drive thru for 20 minutes just to get a wrong order! I get to the window and they repeated "2 double cheeseburgers and a fry?" UM..NO...it's a little food than that! If you are on I-29 between Omaha and Sioux City there aren't a lot of options for food. This BK is as good as any. We didn't have high expectations for the restaurant based on previous reviews, but thought the food was just fine, and the staff friendly. They actually brought our food to our table and spent some time chatting us up about our day. Granted, it was a slow time for the restaurant, but I thought the staff went above and beyond. read more

We stopped here on our way home after a long plane ride. We walked in and they didn't have the menu up. I asked the girl working how I'm supposed to order without a menu and she just kinda shrugged her shoulders. She was clueless on how to ring us up. Then she asked the manager or "guy in charge" what she is supposed to tell people when they ask how to order with no menu and he rudely replied he is working on it. Then this guy's kids came up to the counter and whined they were bored. He told them they were '"shit out of luck" and to go play in their disgusting ball pit. We got part of our food.. and had to go back and ask for the rest of it. The food sucked. The place was completely dirty. There was ketchup smeared on the seats, the tables had crust on them, and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. You definitely need to hover over their nasty toilet seats. My fiancé and I stopped here on our way home on 07/07/19 at 1:31pm. The girl taking orders did not seem excited to be there. Her name was Haley, or something similar. Most fast food places will have photos to refer to about various menu items, but there was no reference for their salads. So I asked the girl what all came on the salads, and she said, "I don't know." I replied, "Well, is there anyone you can ask that may know more about the salads?" She looked around a little, then replied, "No, probably not." I was like seriously?!? No effort whatsoever. So to play it safe, I ordered a side salad. For the price, it was actually a good salad. But after ordering and paying, I said, "Thank you," and she just stood there. I was speechless. Not once were we rude to her, in fact, I could tell she had something up her butt the moment we walked in, so I try to be overly friendly to those sorts of people, but she was the laziest, worst employee working a customer service job I've ever seen. No customer service skills at all. Burger King in Missouri Valley, you should make sure your front line staff is friendly and knows the menu, otherwise you're not likely going to have anyone stop in there anymore. read more

Always love me some Burger King when I need a quick meal. But this BK made me never want to eat at BK ever again. To start with when we walked in there was just one table of customers, that already had their food. And 1 car in the drive through. We stood there atleast 10 minutes beside getting waited on. The Rude man in the red shirt looked at us, but didn't acknowledge us. I heard the cooks in the back tell him we were was waiting. He ignored them. After several more minutes they offered to come upfront and help him. (Which he was just stabbing there waiting for drive thru food.) He told them no, he had it. After several more minutes a very friendly gentleman come up to the counter from the back and took our order. Then we wait another 15 minutes for our food. Heard the guy in the red shirt tell the next car that came through the drive through, they needed to wait to give him their order. He didn't take their order till after he gave us our food. The friendly older gentleman came over to our table to give us a treat, for our extended wait. He told us the red shirt guy was the NEW MANAGER. I told him I appreciated him waiting on us and that I felt bad that red shirt guy was in charge, because he obviously didn't know what he doing. Won't go back there ever again. read more

This place is a joke, I should have noticed the one star before coming, but wanted quick food before heading to the Loess Hills for a photo shoot. I arrived at 11:50 and ordered two of what was their monthly special, chicken nuggets. No one in front of me, no one behind me, I was thinking it would be a fats food stop. Wrong. This Burger King is really bad. My boyfriend and I asked for sauce for our chicken nuggets. It took them forever to get us our food and there wasn't any sauce and my sandwich was a mess. Went there to order dinner for the family, the manager was at the drive thru taking order. I placed part of my order and then he put a total on the screen, i said I wasn't done yet and he said in a very rude way " Yes and I haven't said anything to you yet" when I asked what his fucking problem was he told me to take my business elsewhere that I didn't need to "Cuss" about it. Not going there again, been going there for years and years and I have always had good contact there but this was just out of the way rudeness. Totally blew my mind that he acted that way. read more
