I don't believe the chips are house made but they were fresh, crunchy and held up to ground beef and queso on them. Hubs had three tacos. I had the number three - an enchilada, burrito and a taco. I guess this location has been a number of restaurants throughout the years, but it has been nicely transformed into a Mexican motif. Chips and salsa came quickly and we declined additional options of guac or queso. Our server came quickly and got our drink orders, and then we placed our food orders. The food came out in a reasonable time, with the typical 'hot plate' All the food was what you'd expect, and had good, fresh flavors. My wife's dish came out with beef instead of the chicken she'd ordered, and wasn't as hot as the rest of the dish, but otherwise was good. Communication with our server was a bit hit or miss, but she was attentive and checked in regularly. All in all I'd recommend it--we liked it much more than the other similar competitor in town.
