It was well worth driving one mile off the interstate. We were first got here (around noon) it wasn't crowded, but the longer we were here the more crowded it got. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside. It has nice quant seating inside and outside. We ordered the Cold Egg Salad BLT and Chicken Salad Sandwich with lettuce and tomato. The pepperoni bread was the most delicious thing, but it ended there. The currywurst was overpowered with the curry flavoring and a bit dry. It wasn't at all reminiscent of what I had in Germany. While the red cabbage cut it a little, having more strongly seasoned ketchup served with it only intensified the taste and added some moisture. They really need to revisit the balance. The desert pretzel was also okay. Very small for the price, and served with a pre manufactured cup of Nutella. It would have been much better warmed. We left disappointed after really looking forward to some good food.

A few of the pieces on top of mine were slimy, which I just picked off and put to the side. I got the bacon chèvre burger and it was tasty. She pulled out a short black hair from it. Ew. I was almost done with it, so I didn't complain. Hoping what I consumed didn't have any hairs in it! My fiancé ordered the ahi tuna, rare. Very nice presentation and cooked as requested, but the taste was just ok. Pretty hefty price tag at $40 too. Service was very friendly. Quality control on the food is a bit sus and the prices were high.

My fiance had really been looking forward to the brownie dessert based on the website pictures, but we were really disappointed. It came out hard as a rock and almost impossible to cut. The waitress never checked on us, so he ate the ice cream only after muscling only one bite of the brownie.
