I'm writing this review because whenever we're on the road, I notice that pretty much all the places where one might stop for a quick bite have low review scores. I theorize that this happens because people who have a complaint will post a negative yelp review, but people who have a positive experience get back in the car after their meal and forget about it. That's certainly what I usually do, and it's really not fair to the eating establishments. We only stopped at this place because we didn't like the look of another place we had chosen to eat. But when we went inside, it was clean and attractive. There was no line; our order was taken quickly, the meal was served fast, and made well. What made this place stand out to me was that when a family member attempted to order something as part of a combo meal that wasn't an option, I "corrected" her but then the alert restaurant staff jumped in to explain how it actually could be combined for minimal extra cost. It was something that I'm pretty sure couldn't be done at a typical BK, but this young staffer was competent, alert and pro-active in offering the help. The same staff person was especially polite when I later picked up the food. And everything was there on the tray that we could have possibly wanted -- every sauce, every condiment. It was just great in every way. If you're rolling through this town and need to pull off for a quick bite, I'd recommend stopping here. read more

Cashier takes my order (with gloves already on his hands). I pay. Cashier gives me my change (gloves still on). Cashier makes my food (gloves STILL ON). Why do you think I want you to make my food while wearing the dirty gloves you had on when I arrived and after you handled money? Next customer comes in. Cashier takes order (without gloves). Chaser makes order for that customer (with new gloves)!?!?? Do you not understand that the entire purpose of gloves is so I don't have to have contaminated food?!? I ask for the manager (who is VERY apologetic). I get a refund and will NEVER return. I won't even mention the number of flies that were in the kitchen and front register areas. read more

Poor service all the way around. Waited 15mins after placing an order to two simple hamburgers. Cashier gave me attitude. Manager is completely incompetent and visibly angry which explains the disgruntled employees. Asked to customize an order and the manager outright refused. I would have paid more! I guess Burger King doesn't like money. Beware of other 4 and 5 star reviews -- probably company paid. Never coming back. read more

Went to the drive thru. Only one car in front of us. They waited 5-10 mins till they were able to give there order. Got up to the speaker and waited another 10 mins. Finally asked what the hold up was since it was not busy at all. Was told they had to refund a couple of orders because as they were messed up so we would have to wait even longer. Left without being waited on since we didn't want to wait another 10 or more mins to be waited on only to more than likely have our order messed up and have to wait even longer to have it fixed. read more

I very rarely give 5 star reviews to fast food restaurants but our experience a couple of Sundays ago certainly merits the accolades. On our way to Swatara State Park hubby and I stopped in for a quick lunch and were immediately welcomed as soon as we entered the door. The young lady who waited on me was friendly, warm and clearly enjoyed her job and she treated each and every customer with the same warmth and kindness. Our food was hot and fresh and I gotta tell ya, I have been eating Burger King chicken nuggets for years and had no idea how they were actually supposed to taste because until this visit I've never gotten them fresh out of the fryer. Upon leaving both the young lady who waited on us and the manager thanked us for visiting and told us to drive safe home as the weather report was calling for snow. I feel horrible that I didn't get the young lady's name but I did make sure to pull the manager aside and tell her how awesome a job she is doing and what a great representative of their store so I hope she passes the word along to the corporation. read more

"All of the above" service complaint. Your location in Lickdale PA (Exit 90 off I-81) last night was total chaos behind the counter. In the half hour it took for us to get our food and eat there were no more than 10 customers. Yet everyone had an excessive wait and many orders were wrong. The half dozen kids working were goofing off and backtalking the one woman who appeared in charge. She had a defeated attitude. One customer was there before us and was still waiting on his food after we left. If you have a regional mgr he/she needs to get there pronto to straighten out this mess. Our order was wrong but with the obvious problems I didn't have time to wait for a fix. read more
