I happened to have some freebies that were about to expire on my Whataburger app, so coming here was the move. It was the closest Whataburger en route to my house. It is located in the parking lot of a large shopping complex so parking is not an issue. Walking in, the place was pretty busy with alot of older customers so it was nice, calm and clean inside. I also knew I wasn't in the burbs anymore because you had to have a code to get into the bathrooms. The staff was young but very professional. I ordered the new Bacon Steakhouse Double because it was free with the purchase of fries and a drink. The Whataburger app is great like that! The food came out in a timely manner and the burger was almost picture perfect. It was neatly made and not sloppy like other fast food chains. That being said, the burger wasn't all that. I gave it an honest try and I can see why it's a rotating item as opposed to a main stay. Odds are I probably won't be back at this location because I am hardly in the area. I just wanted to make sure they got their props for a well run Whataburger in the city.

I honestly don't understand the hype around Whataburger. This was my first time trying it, and it…read morewas a huge disappointment. The burger had almost no flavor. The patty tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all, and the whole meal was just bland and underwhelming. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did. Overall, I thought it was pretty gross, and I don't see myself ever eating here again. It felt like a "Temu burger" all the hype with none of the quality. Definitely not for me.

Love the cilantro and raw onions on the side with a spoon so I can control the amounts per taco. Avocado slices, grilled onions, and melted cheese added a depth of flavor that I've never experienced before eating tacos! So for about the past year, I've been out in and out of this restaurant great food great people not a complaint in the world. English is not very good but I can get around that. It's authentic Mexican food and I love it until today. Yesterday I went in there and ordered no problem. I always hit at the same place. I had the same waitress. I'm never rude. I always leave a good tip. I'll leave 20% because it's so cheap. I feel bad about leaving a lower percentage so I always leave 20% until today. Today I went over and I had coffee from McDonald's. I still had the cup and handed it to the waitress and I said can I have some coffee she gave me kind of a scowl. I asked her is it OK? I just wanted to refill it up top it off that's it so she said yeah that's OK. I said OK and I said I'd like that and a beer. It was about 11:30 in the morning, I had work the night before and I was going to bed so she came back over. I ordered the burrito. I drank the beer and I waited for her to come back and I was gonna get some water she never came back. She got the empty bear bottle and the plate and didn't even look me in the face. It was kind of weird. I could tell something was wrong for the minute. I walked in the restaurant and she gave me the look about the coffee so after I ate the food, the burrito which was delicious. I waited waited waited. She never came to my table. I finally just got up. I went to check out. She finally came to check me out and I didn't leave a tip I think maybe for the first time in my life and my skin color is the only thing I can figure out why because I haven't done anything the day before when I came in I remarked that she had lost weight and she looked very nice and she kinda laughed and giggled and said thank you and I left it at that and I never said another word and today I couldn't even get her to come to my table, except to deliver the food. It's really too bad. I hate writing bad reviews, but I can't let this slide. This was purposely bad service. This wasn't a bad day. This wasn't. She was busy and she just forgot about me. There were only me and one more table in the whole restaurant and she was the only waitress working great food, though really great food. this was the location in East Houston.
