I especially want to recognize Abby. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure customers had a great experience. It's not often you come across someone who brings such a positive attitude to their job, but Abby absolutely does. She treated everyone with respect, had a smile the whole time, and made the visit feel much more personal than your typical fast-food stop. Employees like Abby are the reason people come back. Thank you to her and the rest of the crew for the excellent service. I'll definitely be stopping here again whenever I'm back in Gloversville.

So, I was shorted 6 pieces of chicken and the biscuits. I went back and they made a new order and got home to find no mac n cheese in my order. Are you serious? Every time I go, I have to wait for them to make the chicken. Its slightly annoying but at least I know it's fresh. But seriously to mess up the order twice? I drove back and got my mac n cheese, but my meal is no longer fresh now after 2 trips back to the store. They did give me my money back after I caused a scene but really? My family is hungry at home, and you just accuse me of forgetting my mac n cheese? Um.. no! I don't work here...you forgot my mac n cheese I don't work here....

Most times I leave empty-handed because they can't provide their signature item. This last time, I ordered online and went 15 minutes later, anticipating the wait. I got my order and got home. The order was wrong: it wasn't spicy it was mild. The place is reasonably clean, though; but not sure what I have to do to get spicy chicken. Ordering it does not seem to work. Edit: After raising this with Popeye's Corporate offices, I was told I was not entitled to a refund for the improperly filled order. so not only is this location unable to fulfill the order, Popeye's as a whole, is unwilling to stand by their product and service.

I love Mexican food and have eaten in in literally hundreds of places, from fine restaurants to tiny taquerias. I've lived in Central New York now for 30 years and have ALWAYS been disappointed with every Mexican restaurant in Central New York. I have been searching...The search is over. La Palma es muy FABULOSO. Much of the food...the salsa, the chips, the enchilada sauce, is obviously homemade. Juan, the main server, is friendly and attentive, although I suspect his English is somewhat limited. The food is prepared to order and with care. This isn't a fast food joint. If you want Taco Bell, go to Taco Bell. If you want the real deal, go to La Palma. Now, their tacos are kinda meh. Nothing special. But the Chile Rellenos? Best I've ever had. Real poblanos, slowly grilled, with two types of cheese inside....just amazing. Incredible enchiladas. I saw a fellow at the table next to mine a few weeks ago, with the "Super Burrito." It looked delicious, and it was enormous. Rice and Beans are the standard fare. Good. Final word. YES, this place could actually probably stay in business in Southern California. It's that good. BEST Mexican food I've ever had in the Northeast. BY FAR.

It saddens me to write this review. I have enjoyed the food…read moreand company with the owners over the last decade. But of late there has been a decline in quality. Last week, I had the special Steak Frites , a Filet Mignon, that I ordered rare to medium rare, mentioning to Megan that I liked it bloody. However, not only did it come out early but well done! Ok, anything can happen, but the server is tasked with ASSURING that the meal is delivered as ordered. It should have been noted that it was over done and offered to be replaced. Not so. Tonight I ordered the flank steak special, again rare to medium rare. It came out medium and chewy. Furthermore, tThe Frittes were under cooked baking potatoes, not the white or gold potatoes you would expect, further under cooked and really not the twice cooked French "frites" expected. But the last insult was to have the patrons next to me delivered meal ending sorbets, while I was not so blessed. Apparently they were more important regular customers than I, although I have been their customer for more than ten years. But not likely furthermore. I am extremely disappointed.
