Burger King is quickly becoming our go-to post-flight meal on the drive home. This time, we stopped at the Fenton location, and it was fantastic. Burger King's recent rebranding seems to be paying off. My son and I both ordered special-order Whopper combos through the drive-thru, and everything was spot on. The burgers looked just like they do in the commercials, with fresh ingredients, great presentation, and excellent flavor. We decided to eat in the car since our social batteries were running low after traveling, and it turned out to be the perfect end to the trip. The fries were hot and crispy, the drinks were cold and refreshing, and the service was friendly and down-to-earth. Overall, this location exceeded our expectations. Place is infested with bugs and management doesn't seem to think this is an issue. Service is horribly slow. Not surprising because there's two managers out back smoking weed while there's only one person up front trying to run the place by themselves. Place is a joke. I dont eat a lot of fast food anymore except lately I have been stopping at the Fenton Michigan Burger King store as a treat after knee rehab sessions. I usually stop by at 12 noon. The lady with braids at the drive thru window (her name is Katy) is just awesome. Every time I stop there she is working hard, smiling and pleasant. She has never screwed up an order for my wife and I. She is consistent in these qualities so I believe she is being genuine. Lets face it, when was the last time you went to a fast food store and had pleasant service ? This girl has got it down. Went to the drive through for food, my boyfriend ordered his wopper meal and immediately after the lady said "Ok pull around." Without even considering that we would want to order more. We got up to the 2nd window and asked if we were able to order a second wopper by itself onto the order and she sorta made it feel like we ruined her night because we asked if we could add second sandwich, she shouted "I NEED ANOTHER WOPPER!" On repeat while the window was open. This location is usually drive-thru only, or at least for the last 5-6 months. I called and talked to the manager about why this is, and she wouldn't give a straight answer. I realize as a cash customer that I am not privy to their business strategies, but a courteous answer is not asking too much. Perhaps the reason that this ownership group is always looking for help is because precious few employees are willing to tolerate such poor leadership. If I owned this place I would be ashamed and embarrassed. The food is not good at all. Maybe the employees don't care. Their prices are way too high for the quality of the food. I worked at Burger King a very long time ago when I was young. We would have never served this quality of food to anyone. Such a shame. :( read more

I was in the lobby today and the manager (at least appeared to be a manager with a green dress shirt) handled EVERYTHING with her bare hands... during a pandemic. She cupped out ice (assuming ice machine broke) and her fingers scraped across all of the ice in the bucket. All of the employees had their masks dangling around their necks when I drove through two days ago, and the person handing me the food (not using the tray and leaning toward my car window) just laughed when I mentioned it, told him I need to protect my elderly mom and asked him to put his mask on.
