We needed to get gas and Burger King was next-door. We went through the drive-through since we were on a road trip. The line went pretty fast. We used the app to get a deal. We got two whoppers, two small fry, and two drinks for $20 which is a great deal. We ask for them not to put salt on the fries and fries came out hot and fresh. The whopper was made so lovely. I didn't take any pictures of my food beforehand because it was so good. The burger was juicy and flavorful. I love whoppers. I loved how the burger was made. If I ever pass through again and want a good whopper burger. I will definitely stop by again. read more

The food was good. I left my purse there accidentally in the bathroom. 2 1/2 hours later I realized it was missing so I called them and they had it. I had to drive back 2 1/2 hrs because we were on vacation. No one took anything out of it (money and credit cards). They were really trust worthy. I did give a finder fee to the girl who found it. read more

The place is filthy inside and out and run down. Food was equally disgusting. Very disappointing as Burger King is my favorite. No more. Back to the consistency of McDonald's. read more

Too slow to even place an order today. When I came in, I saw three people in line for the register. I headed over to the bathroom, which was not awful but definitely no clean. When I came back out, the same three people were standing in exactly the same place. I'd been to the toilet, washed my hands and come out, nothing had changed. I opted not to place an order today. I've seen way better. read more

If you really want Burger King though it's worth it to make the 20 min drive to the next one before you go to theirs. read more

I asked for a plain bacon king meal and they gave me the burger with just 2 patties and the cheese. If I wanted a plain burger then I would get a plain double whopper. It's called a bacon king for a reason smh. Food tasted rubbery , never again read more

Traveling and stopped for gas and food. Absolutely the most disgusting place we have ever stopped. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT STOP HERE!! read more

We ordered a double cheeseburger at the drive thru. Discovered we were given fries by mistake. Didn't order fries. Just a burger. Went back in and counter lady said it wasn't their fault! Who's fault was it! ? Horrible place. read more

Things are getting a bit better at this location or either they got rid of that super rude guy from before. I get that this is just a fast food restaurant, but as customers we deserve to be spoken to respectfully & given fresh food. There isn't much I like to eat in this area, so I gave them another try. So far, so good. read more

Just went into to Burger King as usual when we travel through this area. Service and food always so so but this time no service. We stood around between 5 and 10 minutes and no one was there. Someone at the back of restaurant was on phone and someone cleaning restroom. Then after we walked to the back she got up and went to the kitchen to talk. We left no one said anything to us...we will never stop again. read more

close this place. The staff is clueless. Dirty, slow. Honestly never saw anything this bad. Where is the Emporia Board of health? actually a nightmare. read more

The worst fast food place I have ever been in. Tables and chairs full of crumbs and smears. Staff barely above surly. Bathrooms disgusting. read more

This is the worst burger king I've ever seen. They have a lot of staff yet they work so slow, and the staff seem very inexperienced. They supplied no napkins as well as no sauces when we asked for barbecue. The chicken nuggets we ordered were extremely disgusting with some foreign substance attached to them. I'm disgusted by the hygiene of this facility and I hope it gets shut down. read more

Burger King - disgusting - Burgers Near Me - Emporia, Virginia

One of the nastiest restrooms I've ever seen. Every stall had flies on toilet looking at me like I was crazy. The smell was disgusting. This BG is tied to a gas station which is the only reason we went in, to use the restroom. I'd never eat here. With all of the negative reviews, I would hope BG Corporation or management of this location get their act together. I feel bad for the folks who were dining in this establishment. read more

This place is horrible. I went in, I ordered, and the employees were annoyed at me and rolling their eyes at. I asked for lids because they didn't have any out on the counter and the person who I asked rolled their eyes and told me to ask someone else. When recieving my meal, my burgers were burnt to the point they were inedible. The burgers were all black. read more

We drive through Emporia regularly, but my grandson was with us and he insisted on BK. It is amazing this place is still allowed to operate. The dining room was absolutely filthy. Tables were not wiped down between customers. Employee masks were down on their chins. The bathrooms were filthy and there was NO toilet paper. As I was seated, I felt something drop on my head and it was pea-sized particles of black crud falling from the AC vent above me...which was CAKED with nasty dirt and grime. I tried one of their new ChiKing sandwiches and the patty was processed meat with at least 3 globs of gristle that I had to spit out. It was disgusting. The floor in front of the soda machine was wet and sticky. Napkin dispensers were empty. I will NEVER return to this disgusting location. Arby's is right next door and it is excellent. read more

The only thing worse than the customer service is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Gross. Upgrade your fixtures, stained ceiling tiles and booths that are ripped leaking dirty foam. You can properly clean dirty foam. Eewwwwwwww So sorry to have bothered your staff with our business. read more

Got 2 burgers, someone made it, took one of them to the drive through, and the guy made another, some else took it to the drive through. Waited 15 minutes but they offered me free drinks and fries. Bad situation but friendly staffs. read more

The food was not bad (I love BK!) but the service was abysmal- the staff here are not friendly, professional, or bright (what do you expect from Emporia I guess) and the dining area is in desperate need of a make over- badly! Many of the cushioned chairs had tears in them and the dining room overall looked dark and dingy. read more

It has poor service and is very disorganized sent my order to drive thru when I ordered in the restaurant manager blamed customers for get the wrong order in front of other customers would give only a half a star if I could read more

Won't serve you if you are not wearing a mask so we went through the drive thru. After they said "we don't have that" " we don't have that" we left. I'v eaten there before and it was bad but now we definitely will never go back. read more

It's been quite awhile since I have been to a burger king as well. We stopped by this place on the way back from south carolina. There is really nothing that resembles slightly healthier choice for food. I settled for some kind of chicken sandwich again. I have a lot to catch up. I figure I would get the crappy ones out of the way;) read more

My wife and myself went to get 2 whopper meals tonight. Took over 24 minutes to get. There was about 14 other customers there all waiting for there food. Only should take about 8 minutes or less to serve. read more

Just want to give a shout out to the guy behind the register when we stopped around lunch today. He was the cashier, the ice filler, the French fry guy, and a ton of other things while we were waiting. It did take a little while to get our meal, but this guy's great attitude left an overall good impression! read more

Disorganized, yet excellent at ignoring customers who need assistance. Waited 20 min for whopper, two chicken sandwiches and nuggets. This was on the inside. Drink dispenser was out of 80% of everything the entire time we were there. Saw at least 10 people working, one on the front register, one on the drive thru register and the rest running around trying to take care of orders. They purposely acted like you didn't exist when trying to let them know that the drink machine was empty. This Burger King has an adjoining gas station that probably creates an even more hectic atmosphere. FYI....Huge pot holes around the gas station area. I mean 4 feet wide and about 6 inches deep. Move thru lot slowly. read more

This place is horrendous. I don't usually write reviews unless there good. This place needs to be closed. It definitely isn't up to health code and the service was absent at best. I felt like I ordered food at a sit down restaurant accept I was sitting in my car for 20 plus minutes waiting for my cold, disgusting, repulsive, foul, & uninviting meal. On top of this my primo ordered a sprite and received a weird colored sprite that tasted like all the sodas overflow poured into a cup and watered down for 20 minutes with ice. read more

Very slow drive thru. The food was not good. My whopper tasted as if something had gone bad. They ran out of Coke just as we ordered. It seemed like the staff didn't have any management. read more

I stopped here starving, terrible mistake. My family and I waited almost 10 minutes for them to forget to put my sandwich in the bag. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. Not only did they forget my sandwich but I asked for no tomato, and they put them on anyway. Thanks. read more

They took 10 minutes to grab a pre made kids drink and were quite rude about the entire affair.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Health department needs to close this filthy restaurant. Sad representation of A Well known and respected burger place. Customer service was absent. Employees were playing around in the dining room. Throwing things at each other and using fowl language. Will NEVER stop here again while traveling! read more

Not a great experience. This is in a sketchy area and was quite dirty. I've been to many fast food restaurants in the past and have enjoyed my experience, but not this time. I was just passing through for a quick bite to eat on my long car ride home from Delaware. read more

Worst Burger King ever. So difficult to place an order , waited 30 mins at the drive up then the order was wrong and the waffle sandwich tasted like leather!!!! Do NOT eat here! read more

This is a Burger King with an adjoining gas station type store. I stopped in here with my 13 year old niece so she could use the bathroom. She also wanted to stop and get food. I didn't go in but sent her in. She came out and was not interested in eating here. I don't know if that's bad or not, but it certainly sent a message to me. read more

Fast food my foot...this place is the worst!!! The drive thru is like a parking lot...4 cars deep waiting on food for 15 mins. Pathetic! Keep going to McDs or Hardee's! read more

Traveling through town, stopped here several times in the past. The 7 am crew was rude. I pulled up as another car just ordered and moved up. The attendant asked me to wait. After three minutes, I said hello and I was asked to wait. After another three minutes they took my order. Once I pulled around and payed they asked me to pull up. There was no one behind me so I did not. Within 2 minutes, they brought me the order minus one item and when I said you missed this item she replied you only ordered one. I then paid for another and she asked me to move up again. No one was behind me and I did not move again. The manager now shows up and says I have to move up because they are timed. I replied that I will when someone pulls up. Will not return again. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. This place was filthy. Dirty tables, food on the floor in the kitchen and the eating area needed to be cleaned. Why didn't we just walk out? It was 8:30 in the evening, we had driven a hard 300+ miles and we just wanted something to eat. That was our mistake and we won't do that again. You don't go to Burger King for a great meal you just go for a meal. But restaurants need, no have to be clean. This restaurant was not. Beware of this Burger King, if you go there and it's not clean WALK OUT! read more

There's no excuse for a restaurant to be this filthy. Tabletops are all sticky, crumbs all once the floor, iced tea dispensers all gunked up. The bathrooms smell like porta potties. A plus is that the cashier was friendly. read more

why I didn't eat here? because I used the bathroom first. if their bathrooms are nasty, one can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
