Cashier was unfriendly. Older woman didn't smile or greet me, rather she just held out her hand for payment with a blank look. She handed me my food without saying a word. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by ordering a whopper. read more

Today I was wanting to try the new whopper melt. My dad showed it to me and as much as I don't eat fast food, I thought it would be worth a try. Burger King's Whopper Melt features two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. beef patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, and Stacker Sauce, served between two slices of toasted bread. If you order through your app, you receive Royalty Perks, where the meal is only $6.00. At the counter, it is $9 and change. Our food finished fast, by the time my friend & I got our drinks filled by their fancy soda machine with hundreds of flavors, our meals were on tray's neatly wrapped up. We sat by the window and were excited to eat... as you can see, it was neatly packaged, but then, the sandwich was a big mess. The "toasted" bread was soggy. There was so much sauce, that was the only thing I tasted. Onions were falling out with every bite. I tried to like it and took one more bite before I decided it was not edible. The workers kindly remade it without the sauce and I requested that they toast the bun really good. When I sat back down, the bread was still super soggy. I did have their breaded onion rings with a drink. Those onion rings were cooked nice & crispy. The restaurant was pretty clean. The workers were nice & stayed busy. I don't know that I would order the "whopper melt" again. The toasted bread was what really pulled me in... it was not toast at all. read more

First, this is a fast food restaurant, not "home cooked at order time". So, my review is based on getting something quick. There were 4 cars at the window of the competing establishment, next door, none here.... I was able to order quickly, received amiable service at the window, parked in their lot and ate. The ambiance was cars driving by on Bell Rd, I wanted to watch them. Only slight improvement could be crispier bacon in the croissanwich, or whatever it is called. read more

BAIT AND SWITCH Aside from the worst burger and the driest fries in town they're now added bait and switch to thier score card. The coupon offer was for 2 whoppers, 2 xlg fries and 2 xlg drinks foe $10.99. This location however choses not to participate or comply with the offer. It is also very clear that this location choses to ignore customer concerns and valid complaints as well. In conclusion, what started off as a good deal evolved into disappointment with a side order of wasted time and money. read more

When I arrived close to the window in the drive through lane, I noted 1 male and 2 females working. 1 female (older) appeared very upset with the cash register and with the people inside. An inside customer appeared something was either wrong on her order or charge. Customer and staff were visibly upset. I finally got to the front and the employee took my card for my order kept it for 5 minutes on the cash register. She then charged me for someone else's order (the car behind me). I alerted her that she made a big mistake a $38.57 difference. She than had the older female refund (aka night Mgnr). The manager had my credit card on the cash register than she did some stuff on it; then she took a picture of my card with her cell phone. I was upset when she did that- naturally. I requested for my card to be returned they did not listen. 10 more minutes went by and then the worker returned my card with the over charge receipt. I asked for my order then the worker said she needed my card again. She kept my card for 10 minutes more then gave me my order and card. She closed the window and left. I waited and she then asked me what I wanted - I asked for the receipt to prove what they charged my card for. She couldn't do that, so another worker went and printed one up. I looked at my bank card today and there was no refund for the over charge. I called this morning at 8:53 am 707- 832-3843. A man answered and said yes what do you want. I asked for the manager, and he asked for my name. I asked for his name, and he said Frazid (actually SP of name not provided) and he is the Manager. I told him about what happened on Christmas night. I said I want something done - he said I'm vindictive B and go to hell- then he hung up. I called the Corp Guest Services 866-394-2493 and she took my complaint and assured me this issue would go to a Corp official tobe taken care of Reference #7502369 I then informed my bank of the worker (night mngr) taking picture of my credit card to include invalid charge. New girl messed up my order and was unpleasant. After being ignored for a good amount of time I decided to speak up. She grabbed the food from my hands after I had touched all over it. I was having a 65th birthday party, so I wanted gift cards for prizes for the party since the Whopper turned 65 also, in 2022. The manager (name starts with a D!) had already clocked out but because of my large request for 20 cards she came back and spent half an hour with me, personally activating each card. This store up charges you even if you ask them not to. I specifically asked for a small fry and small drink with my order. Saw it change on the screen, went to the window and asked the kid that I receive and be charged for the small on both he shook his head yes and charged me for the mediums anyways. When I asked for my receipt he was rude. I tried to call and no one answers, don't go here if you want to receive what you order or want to be charged accordingly. read more

Their email and app both say order any item on the app and get 2 kids meals free. We did that and the order went through fine. This is maybe one of the most disturbing and disgusting places Ive ever seen serving food. I went inside to order food at 7pm and all three employees were asleep on the floor in the back office. I was inside for maybe 10 minutes before anyone came out to take our order. Holy mother of hell people take one look in their bathroom. Absolutely horrific. I'm pretty upset that this is the last Burger King in Auburn. Their hours online (that say updated 3 months ago, mind you, so not very long ago) are apparently incorrect because upon arriving at 6:00AM and sitting for 10 minutes, a woman came out and informed me they don't open until 6:30 (not to mention, the hours on their door say every day open at 6AM as well). Even worse, I'd come to this same location on Sunday, when their hours also say 6AM, but I drove up at somewhere between 6:30 and 7:00 and no one said a word at the drive-through. I sat and waited until 7, saw a woman walk across the street and into the building in that time, and finally they took my order. I understand you have certain prep you need to do, but if you're THERE at 6:00 I feel like you could probably get my order done in the next half an hour I actually sat and waited. I probably should've taken 80 all the way back to Loomis, the next closest BK, but the time would be almost the same in the end with 80 being a mess of construction right now, so what was the point? If you change your hours, fix them online and in apps so that customers don't get confused. You're the only BK in Auburn. Maybe try and make that matter a little? read more

I have had problems with this place every time I go. It sucks because I really love Burger King but after tonight I wont go back. First I arrived at the drive thru and waited 4 minutes and decided to drive around and see if someone was in there. I saw employees so I drove back through and waited another minute then received service. Remind you its 6pm and they had no customers. I got my families food and drove home. I sat down and opened my burger to remove tomatoes and BAM!!!The chicken patty seemed to be very very old and even inside meat was dark. Long story short lol manager Norma didn't feel bad at all and even acted as if she wasn't surprised. She was confrontational and told me that she was the boss and only answered to the owner, which she made a point to sound as if she didn't care. I am calling corporate and the health department. This is outrageous and I am dumbfounded to why she wasn't concerned about me potentially getting sick if I would have eaten it. I would not post this and be so upset if she would have at least acted like she was sorry or even just told me she would look into it. Oh and she tried to tell me she was the owner then changed to GM in the beginning. I hope the owner does something about this place and doesn't know about the conditions in which his restaurant is in. Its a law suit waiting to happen. I rarely go to this Burger King as the Manager is so Nasty and Rude.One would think he hates waiting on Americans or perhaps just people in general. Anyway I got these coupons In the mail. One was for two whoopers two small fries two small drinks $8.99. not a bad deal however I was charged $12.87 that's $3.88 at 41.16% in tax. When I asked if I could have a receipt you would have thought I said this is a hold up. The receipt was tossed towards me and my food shoved in my hands. I was going to use the receipt to complain with but the ink was so faded I couldn't see all the numbers which without the numbers you can't file a complaint. So my brother and I stopped at BK on Bell Road in Auburn at the intersection of 49/Bell Road. The girl behind the counter greeted as and then took our order. We got 2 Whoppers with Cheese, 2 small fries and 2 glasses for water. I get the receipt and see they charged me for small Cokes. I ask her about it and she said, Yes, small Coke. I said No, we asked for 2 waters- no Coke was ever mentioned. She apparently spoke no english at all. We had to go through 3 people to get the Coke refunded back to us. The whole time I felt like we were the ones trying to pull a fast one instead of them charging us for something we never ordered. They never apologized either. We will not be returning to this BK. read more

I had a bad experience earlier this year with this Burger King. They gave me the wrong sandwich and refused to replace it. It had been over a year, so when I heard about the 37 cent Whopper promotion, I decided to give them another try. It was a mistake. First, the front doors were locked and it was drive-thru only. That wouldn't be a problem if there had been a sign indicating that. Still, not a huge deal. The real issue was when I tried to order the promotional Whoppers. I was told you could only do that if you had uploaded the BK app and gotten a code. When you're at the drive-thu order speaker is not the place to learn that. I started to upload the app. Annoying, but not a show stopper since there were two cars in front of me waiting for the order. I got to the last screen when someone came on the line and told me I had to get out of line, go to the parking lot and get the code then I could get back in line. I told him I wasn't holding up the line since there were still cars in front of me. He repeated I had to get out of line. When I told him, if I did that I would go someplace else, he said that was fine. So I did. This place needs to hire people with management training, or train their current staff better. It won't matter to me since I'm never going back. read more

(Wrap in foil first) STEP 2: Go to McDonalds and buy large coke (light ice) for $1.00 STEP 3: Go to Burger King Park in front Open hood and extract platypus burgers; ensuring temp reading does not exceed room temperature. If so, repeat process starting from Step 1. Unwrap burgers and place them under your shoes while applying full body weight. Do your dance. Do your dance. Place burgers on hood of truck. Empty 1/2 of catsup bottle content onto each burger. Return burgers to sack and place in truck; ensuring no napkins are allowed into sack. Get into truck. Open sack. Eat burgers. Drink Coke. Following these instructions completely should result in a more pleasurable dining experience at the Burger King location. It will also save you some $$$ however it is unlikely to provide quite as much gloppy glops of gloppy ass catsup as one might receive within an actual drive thru exchange. As someone who spent over 6 years in fast food, I understand how difficult and demanding the job can be at times. That said...NEVER going to this BK again. Almost every time we go through drive-thru, they manage to mess something up. So, on our last visit, we decided to forgo the DT, and go inside to eat. HUGE mistake. First, at 7 pm on a Friday, it took them almost five minutes to get someone to the counter to greet us. We placed our order - food for 2 adults and 2 kids - and waited. And waited. And waited. It took them almost 15 minutes to get us our order - and the lobby was practically empty. There was one car in DT when we arrived. The soda machine was a disgrace. Not only was one of the ice dispensers broken, but the cover to the ELECTRICAL WIRING on top of the machine was fully exposed. The men's room was out of order, so my son and I had to use the women's - which was about the dirtiest fast food bathroom I have ever seen. There's a McDonald's next door, a Chick-Fil-A across the street, and a Jack in the Box down the road. If you really need BK, there's one on the other side of town off 80. Go there. Stay far, far away from this one. read more

I would give it none if I could. I have never been treated so rudely by someone claiming to be the manger. I get their two chicken sandwiches and fries on the coupon for my grandkids often. He started charging me .75 cents for one of the fries, extra for cheese and extra for tomato and when I said whoa whats going? Those things never came up before. Didn't want them but wanted my receipt. Said I didn't need a receipt. Actually told me to give the bag of food back and he would give me my money back. The service was lacking, to say the least. Every worker during this slow evening seemed less than competent. Our food took as long as would expected if the restaurant were packed, however I wouldn't imagine it being getting packed especially by any repeated customers. Went through the drive-through. We ordered four drinks but only got one straw. We were also missing ketchup. I decided to park and go inside. I decided to use the bathroom. It was locked. You have to ask for the key. The key was attached to a large metal rod which was rather cumbersome, and no doubt loaded with germs. I washed my hands well, and wrapped the key rod in a paper towel to avoid touching it. I ordered something different, the new chili cheese dog. The kids like the plain hot dogs I thought they tasted good. But I thought the chili cheese dog was really salty. read more
