Smash Burger (Single Patty)

Positives: the service is friendly, the place is clean and the quality of food is good. The fact that it's a locally owned business also makes me more inclined to support, even if the prices are slightly on the steeper side. (fair enough trade off, i believe!) Now for the negatives: the fact that they do not include any sauce with their food is pretty disappointing. i have never been to any other restaurant that charges you for even just one single sauce with your wings. or any even any type of small side like a handful of fries. for the price, it just comes off as cheap to not even throw in one sauce. like i said, this is the first restaurant ive been to that does this. Ended up spending just short of $40 on a single-patty smash burger, a small order of wings *with no sauce as we did not want to pay an extra $1* and 2 milkshakes. I will continue to give them my business from time to time due to the positives. However, the negatives i had mentioned are enough to make me reluctant to make it a go-to spot. Overall: 3.7/5 stars.

Second visit Been there 2 more times since my initial visit... I had thee tacos the second time... the birria tacos were as amazing as the burgers! The service was top-tier again, the staff is as amazing as the food.

This is a solid spot for a burger. They have plenty of parking available out front and there are indoor and outdoor seats you can use if you want to dine there. They have cheeseburger, chicken sandwiches, wings, fries, onion rings, milkshakes and refreshers. The burgers on their own are a bit more expensive than similar places, but they do have some lunch specials and you can upgrade to a combo for a little extra. I will say, while the burgers a bit more expensive than I'd like they are flavorful. I also have tried the crunchy Zinger, which is a big fried chicken sandwich and this is pretty big and filling. I would definitely stop in if I'm in the area and craving a burger or chicken sandwich.

Smash Burger with cheese and side of fries.

This was my first time here. I chose the Smash Burger with cheese, fries and a Watermelon drink. The nice gal at the counter suggested it was their "best". If you like your burgers juicy and cooked medium, don't order a Smash Burger. It arrived well done and I had to drench it with ketchup. It had a skirt of dry meat edges hanging off the bun. The fries were ok- tasted decent. The watermelon drink is a soda, not a juice! Too sweet! The inside of this place has a lot of red color all around. Not a color to make customers slow down and relax when they eat. The outside of this place is next to a cigarette and liquor store in a plaza. Some men were loitering outside their door. I suggest you get your food "to go" here. For a combo, the prices are sort of high.

Always A Spot For that Quick Lunch! SITREP We have a CCLD Regional Office close by in a Natomas business park and Burger Hub is only a quick skip & hop away. So when I'm visiting Natomas, I love to be able to stop by Burger Hub. THE SETUP I love the burger prep for the Burger Hub burgers. They use the Halil preparation process and I love these burgers are on the more well-done side and not grossly pink like other independent places I've been. The French fries are crisp and tasty and I can't get enough of them. The same for the Onion Rings, just sayin! My Smash Burger & fry combo came out to about $15. Not inexpensive, but definitely tasty and kept me nearby to my office visit. Oh yeah: FREE PARKING. THE LOWDOWN Great place to grab a burger and fries.

Burger Hub is a nice surprise and I haven't been impressed with a hamburger or chicken restaurant in awhile. We ordered a bunch of different items from their menu and their chicken is just as good as their beef hamburgers. We found all the food tasted crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The prices are within reason and comparable with equal restaurants. A huge plus is that Burger Hub's food is Halal, meaning higher quality; there are extra steps taken to assure the food is prepared and served pure and hygienic. The restaurant is taken care of with neon lights and TVs working. Parking is ample and we felt safe. The hours of operation are wide and they're open later than other places.

The Burger Hub is an excellent choice if you're looking for a satisfying burger for your lunch or dinner. I found the food to be fresh, with many choices on the menu. For burger lovers, you can choose between their smash burgers or their standard patties. That's unique as most burger places are either one or the other. The Burger Hub offers a wide variety of burgers, but ultimately I gave their Texas style burger a try. This burger had two patties, onion rings, and a generous amount of BBQ sauce. All the flavors in the burger came together very well with a blend of sweetness and savoryness that I was looking for. It was perfect! The fries also came out very hot. These fries are a little larger then most, but have a nice crisp outside and soft inner portion. They are like a bigger version of your standard fry. I totally dug them. To top things off I gave their chicken wings a try as well. This is where I thought things could have been better. The chicken wings were sauced nicely, but I felt that the actually chicken could have been better. They had the feel of frozen products. Maybe chicken tenders would be better for a place like this. In terms of service, things were adequate. The atmosphere was good, but not outstanding in any way. The Burger Hub is solid and if you're in the area it's not a bad place to stop by for a nice bite to eat!

I was in the area and saw this new burger spot that had great reviews and photos of their food. I don't make too many great choices in life, but this sir, was not one of those times. Walking in, there was a lot of space, booth seating, and a right wall covered in decor. The menu seems to have a little for everyone. The crispy chicken sandwich was speaking softly to me, but since it was my first time here, I decided to try the signature Single Smash burger. It looked like a mom and pop kinda shop, so I wasn't expecting much. Single Smash Burger 5/5* Wow was I surprised! The meat was smashed to a thin patty, so spread out it that it was peeking out at all sides from under the bun. The patty was grilled to perfection with crispy, charred edges and well seasoned. Ooey gooey cheddar cheese, tangy slices of pickles, crisp beef bacon, and sweet grilled onions, all tucked in between buns so round and shiny you'd wanna spank them. This combination of flavors makes for the perfect bite, even without any veggies. Fries 3.5/5* I'm not a fan of fat cut fries, but at least these were very crispy. Not one single fry was limp. They didn't really season them, so you can add salt to your liking. Mint-Booster Refresher 4/5* This refresher was minty, bubbly, and yup, refreshing. It was slightly on the sweeter side, but the carbonation definitely pairs well with the burger. Solid place for a delicious burger. They rival smashburger chains any day.

My partner and I kept coming back to one statement as we ate at Burger Hub: "These smash burgers are like In-N-Out burgers if they were actually good and not incredibly overrated." The single cheese burger we tried had classic ketchup and mustard with extremely fresh produce, including white onions. The single smash burger resembled an "animal style" In-N-Out burger with grilled onions, pickles, cheese, and special sauce. Both of these smash burgers, while reminiscent of the mediocrity people fawn over at In-N-Out, were leagues better in flavor, texture, and seasoning. As if pounding the final nail into the In-N-Out coffin, the hand cut fries here were also dramatically better! We also tried an absolutely delicious mango milkshake. It was lighter and less sweet than what you would expect from a burger place, which really made it stand out. Finally, I tried their "mint-booster refresher," which was essentially an excellent mojito but without the rum. I might bring my own rum next time to add, because it was that good. Service was friendly and fast, and there's plenty of seating inside with a couple TVs playing sports shows. Oh and I don't normally comment on music, but we were jamming to whatever playlist they had on. This place is going onto my short list of burger joints in SacTown! NOTE: These are REAL smash burgers. The meat is supposed to be thin and crispy, not thick and juicy!

Strawberry milkshake

Overall this place is about average. I ordered a cheeseburger with hub sauce added, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was decent, nothing too special about it but for the price it is good. The fries here are not crispy but the flavor is good. And the strawberry milkshake I ended up throwing out, it tasted super artificial you could barely taste the strawberry despite it being bright pink. I will say that the service was good here, the person at the check out counter was very nice and answered my questions. Overall, I probably would not go out of my way to go here but if I am in the area and craving a burger, I might stop by.

#1 Combo #1

Had wings w buffalo sauce, just great wings were cooked just right the fries are good and the service was excellent. Haven't had a bad meal since coming.

Double smash with grilled jalapeños hub sauce (10/10) on side, ranch (10/10) and fire sauce (was ok 6/10)

Service was great and burgers were Amazing! Inside was decent. We will definitely be back

Big boss burger
Douglas Y.

Ordered lunch for work here and was pleasantly surprised. My Big Boss burger was surprisingly good who knew a fried egg and grilled pineapple could work together? The patties look like 3 ounces so don't feel bad about getting a double. The onion rings were very crispy but lacked in quantity for $4.99. The Fuzzy Navel refresher was bright and definitely refreshing. Burger Hub does a solid job.

The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. A standard burger build but done perfectly! Beer was cold, food was great and the ambiance is a perfect local bar. Great spot to go if you don't mind hunting for a parking space.
