I contacted multiple fence companies in the area and Burger Fence were the only ones that returned my call. Worked with Ed Smith and they were great, upfront, and honest about the whole process. read more

I just want to mention that we just put in a Burger Fence not my first one in our new Swedesboro home. It was a vinyl fence and it came out excellent. We had some problems. The problems were associated with double gates didn't close correctly a couple of the panels that had holes penned through created by my landscapers hitting rocks during mowing. as in most cases, people would be concerned about that especially looking at some of the reviews that we've seen online about Burger Fence but upon contacting my sales rep, who is Ed Smith who is by the way excellent he referred me over to the owner of the company, Mark Burger, who I must say surprised me greatly. He contacted me. He came out on a Saturday. Assessed the situation and said he would be out the next day Sunday to fix it!! I did not believe that that would ever happen he showed up Sunday the next day and he fixed everything by himself and did not charge me a dimeand we are already Over our warranty by a little over a year and a half. I don't know too many companies that would do that service --- so in my opinion, if you're gonna get a fence company get Burger Fence family owned great people and deal directly with your sales reps. Sometimes the office may be overwhelmed. That's what I experienced and I got right to the source and they took care of it like true professionals Five stars as far as I'm concerned. Thanks, Mark and thanks, Burger Fence. read more

THE worst business experience Ive ever had. The poor communication and lack of concern for customers who have given a deposit in anticipation of work to be performed is appalling. I contracted to have vinyl fence gate widened, but due to close proximity of in ground gas lines it was agreed by Burger fence and I that it would be unsafe to proceed with original plan of moving the affected post. I was given one option which did not work for me, and that was last time heard from them. Phone calls and emails went unanswered and Mark Burger declined to accept my certified letter sent to him at his business. My in person visit to office was unsuccessful, and was told I would have to pay for the gate that was already assembled, but not delivered to my property. You want me to pay for a gate I didn't get?! I was eventually told that would get my full deposit refunded, but after 2 months that didn't occur either. I was able to get my refund returned by the credit card company, and still have not received any service recovery from them. Beware.....if they do not respond to your phone calls and have excuses why they can't keep an appointment with you, look elsewhere. They are not worth your time. read more

I contracted Burger and Son to install 160 feet of fence that was destroyed during a tornado. When the person came out he assured me that everything would be alright. They came out and installed the new fence and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! it as a wonderful experience working with the office staff and the mechanics who did the work, they all very courteous and professional. And a special thanks to Buddy and Mike who did the work! I would highly recommend Burger fence to anyone considering a new fence installation! Dan Morris read more

Absolutely horrific experience, calling them since November 2020 (it is February 2021 now) to fix new wooden posts that started cracking, a week after installation. Mark did show up once after we complained, this was in October 2020, acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it, but there has been nothing but silence since then. Each time we call, they always "make a note" but never call back, NEVER. We've spoken to 3-4 different people at the office by now, we also emailed Mark directly, to no avail. We paid them in full $3,000 for this fence, and this is the service we are getting in return. They expect us to pay in full and to keep our part of the deal, but nothing is expected from them. They were very responsive BEFORE we paid the amount in full. Interesting indeed. The attached pics are showing ripped top edges along the fence as if someone unprofessional cut them... they're not smooth and finished, we were told by Burger that this is actually OK....really, is that so? The other pic is showing one of the cracked posts that are just getting worse, is that acceptable, like week or so after installation? ..We suspect inferior wood was used here. Such a shame. I wish we could give no stars at all, even 1 star is too much. read more

This is a horrible company. Was given an estimate via email and had agreed upon it. All of a sudden they increased the price and was told that it was because the price for them had gone up and I would have to pay the increase. They have very unfair business practices. They are so unprofessional. DON'T GO WITH THEM!!!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. I have to rate this company one way or another even though I would love to give it a negative, but it won't let me. I have to give it something in order to post this review. But again my feeling is -10. read more

Installed my fence about 5 years ago and it looked great. Then, started to have issues with the gates not opening or closing as they should. Made my first call about the gate issue in August of 2018 and they're still not fixed. Stan looked at them on July 8th of 2019 and never got back to me despite repeated calls. Eric looked at them on Dec 13th, six calls later I still haven't gotten any answers. My advice, go somewhere else for your fencing needs. Anywhere else. BTW: Called again today, not expecting a call back. read more

You will be better off going to home depot or cutting trees down and making fencing yourself. They installed fence at my business. A tree damaged a section of this fencing. I called them up for replacement rails. The guy on the phone said it was good to go and to give him a few days to cut them down from 11' to 9'. I was in no rush so I said it was fine. Get here on the scheduled day to pick them up and the lady in the office has no idea about anything. She finally figured out that they do have the rails. I pay and go in the back to pick them up. The guy back there says he does not cut them down and I would have to do it myself. read more

Super fence company. A savvy representative spent time with our family and actually provided us with a wealth of information, but also discovered exactly what we wanted and made several design suggestions. The project was completed on time. Installers were terrific and our fence is perfectly straight and level. What's more, Burger Fence arranged 6 month no-interest bank financing. read more

I purchased a wooden fence from Burger about 5 years ago. Several months after the installation, a few of the wooden posts were leaning. When I called to inform Burger of this, I was told this was an issue with the ground; they wouldn't come out to fix it, and that I should go out and get a Tamper to compact the ground myself. 5 years later, I noticed one of the pressure-treated posts was rotted at just below ground level. The post was encased in concrete about 4" below ground level, and the post was being used for the swinging gate. When I called, the person who answered stated that since it was beyond the 1 year warranty, they weren't liable for it, and that it was the nature of the wood. During the recent hurricane, more of the fence tilted. I then discovered another post that was rotted! What I determined was the concrete used on the posts were allowing water in the ground to puddle on top, quickly wearing out the posts. This family owned company has been around for decades. At one time, it was truly what a local company should be. Now, it appears they are only in it for the money. They are using inferior wood, skimping out on materials that would help the posts last longer, and quickly hide behind their 1 year warranty when problems develop. read more

I wanted to replace a 20 year old wood fence with a new black aluminum fence. I received several quotes as I had no idea what it would cost to remove the old and install new. Burger Fence gave me a very fair price, the highest quality fence and gates, and excellent installation. They were very professional and the new fence is not only beautiful, but level. They suggested the arched gates (I had thought I wanted the flat gates) which made it even more aesthetically pleasing. After a month, there was some settling and the gates were not closing properly. No Problem! They came out right away and fixed them! I highly recommend Burger Fence. read more

If you're looking for efficiency and great customer service skills do not use this company. They do not return most calls in a timely manner. The amount of time it took to complete a fence was ridiculous, over a week for a small yard. They don't clean their mess and they make excuse after excuse as to why they took so long. I am completely dissatisfied with this company and their lack of professionalism. read more

Do not even waste your time making a phone call to this company! I called and asked for an estimate. Five days later I called back and asked again because no one called me back. It took weeks to get an appointment and Stan showed up an hour late! He measured and gave me the estimate (and even had stories to cut down the competition), but when I contacted him with a question, it took him 3 days just to answer me. I called the office and asked Carol to have a manager or owner call me back because I did not want to deal with Stan any longer. She gave the message back to Stan and he called me! I called Carol back the next morning and told her once again I wanted to speak with an owner. Mark Burger called me at 8:50am and told me to deal with his estimater and that I was wasting his time when he need to be out in the field working! Really crappy company to work with. Apparently they don't need my business! read more

We got a 600ft vinyl fence (white &gray) with 5 gates installed and couldn't be happier with the whole process as well as the beautiful fence. We worked with Bill who came 4 times and made sure everything was setup correctly as per law. The fence came out so good ,even neighbors and other contractors who were doing other stuff said it was very well done with wind proofing and all the pieces absolutely straight and well posted. After couple of weeks, we had one of the gates not opening smoothly and they came and took care of it in a day. They are definitely a high standard business and are still cheaper than other quotes we got. read more

Called for estimate. Person couldn't be nicer on phone. Set up time for estimate-explained whole process. No show, no call, nothing, nada, zippo. I called several times to find out what happened. Didn't even get a call back from that to reschedule. They must not need any new business. Gave our business to another company...my fence looks great! read more

I had my fence installed by Burger 20 + years ago and have been very satisfied with this company's fair price, good installation. After reading some of the reviews of unfriendly counter staff, no return calls etc. I was concerned and hesitant about being a returning customer. I FOUND THE OPPOSITE OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Stan was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to explain his estimate. I would recommend this company for fencing purchase. read more

Purchased a black aluminum fence from Burger this summer. They were pleasant to do business with. Ed was very knowledgeable and experienced. He even gave me a tip to help adjust my front screen door so it shuts smoothly. The installers were very kind and good at communicating exactly what was being done. Now the yard is just waiting for a pool. read more

I also called for an estimate and the girl on the phone was so nice. However, I never received a call back very disappointed with this company. I called four seasons fencing and they came out within one or two days. I would highly recommend four seasons fencing.. I would discourage anyone else to use Burger fence. read more
