Our…read moreold concrete slabs were cracked, and had shifted, altering the drainage of water to flow towards our house. After interviewing many landscape pavers, Ideal Engineering stood out for being prompt to all the meetings, willing to visit multiple times to double-check measurements before bidding and were knowledgeable on the current state of available inventory and which showrooms to visit to preview them. Prices were very reasonable and transparent. There were no unplanned mark-ups and all change orders were reviewed and had to be approved by me in advance, so I could budget accordingly. I think this is an advantage of choosing a local paver. The work was efficient and professional - different specialized crews for demolition, irrigation, paving, cleanup were used with their own knowledgeable foremen. Each foremen acted as an available point of contact and communication was easy and friendly. Any texts or calls were usually returned within minutes. The teams were proactive in highlighting any complications or issues that might require design approval to make sure the work they did matched what I had in mind. For example, Pedro, the paver lead felt it was better to create a smooth curve at a corner instead of a straight 90 degree corner, and he was right! The boundaries flowed smoother and nicer with the lawn. The paving work was top-notch. We had decided to install premium pavers from Belgard, and it was important the work was done properly for such an investment. This included grading at the proper slopes for proper drainage, adding weed-resistant fabric, multiple levels of graded stone for proper leveling and polymeric sand for good sealing between pavers. The team helped build custom steps that looked very nice to create easy step-downs and paver edging was done with great style and aesthetics. For a potentially complicated project, I really felt confidence in the team and the process. David also helped offer advise in helping me move and reset our external heat pump units so that they could be reinstalled on top of the pavers. They were able to build conduits to facilitate running irrigation and electricity underneath the pavers for adding drip irrigation of containers and future lighting in our garden. Cleanup was thorough, with parts of our yard reseeded and topped with new topsoil. There was no construction debris left on our lawn or streetside. Everything was swept up. Fence gates that were temporarily removed were re-installed to appear as if nothing ever happened. I would definitely use Ideal Engineering (Ideal Landscape & Concrete) again for future projects.

During the free consult Alejandro was clearly much more engaged in actually solving my problems. Example: the fence needed to be low enough to see over as I back out of my driveway, for safety reasons. Alejandro held a tape measure at various heights and various points as I backed out. It seemed obvious to him that this was the right thing to do, but no other contractor I met with did this. 3. Construction was done in a single day (7 hours). 4. Sometimes I work with contracting firms where an attentive sales person asks about your project, and then a separate team (plus an annoying game of telephone) comes to actually work on the project. Not with Maldonado! At least for now Alejandro is not only figuring out the design with you but actually building the fence 5. Alejandro made several AI renderings showing the different options, which were quite helpful. I'm surprised more people aren't doing this 6. Above all I got the sense that Alejandro cares deeply about doing great work. We would absolutely work with them again

If you are planning on a foundation, stamped concrete, a driveway or backyard patio or paver work, look no further than this company. Luciano and his son Steve are upfront and as honest as it gets. Just this week I hired Luciano to do some concrete on my newly remodeled home in San Carlos. I honestly could not be more pleased with the outcome. From the first day they were here, the workers were respectful, clean, and worked their butts off. I had a deadline to keep since my wife wants to have a party for 4th of July. I am just a happy customer of Luciano concrete and I really wanted to show my gratitude with this review. Quality. That is the best word to describe Saber Roofing. This review is long overdue as we had…read moreRyan and team replace our 29 yr old roof late last year (Nov/Dec 25'). But it's also a testament that after almost a year in, we've had no issues whatsoever. From the site survey to Final inspection by the City, Ryan and team was there every step of the way. I'm not going to attempt to repeat what's already been said in all the 5 star reviews (which are all correct, but also repetitive). I am offering an alternative view if skepticism remains. The ultimate reason why we chose Saber Roofing, over other quotes that were at or below his quote, was because of the negative reviews. Stay with me here. When you have a multi-decade longstanding business, it is statistically impossible to maintain 100% satisfaction. If you want to understand trustworthiness or how the inner workings of a company is run at a glance, one must look at how the unsatisfied customers were dealt and treated. In all recent cases, you will see each and every claim was handled with compassion and respect with an intent to understand the issue, correct and better themselves going forward. That, IMO, is the hallmark of a great business to deal with. After starting the job, they solidified that hypothesis as I observed the attitudes & dispositions of those working in the "trenches" (or roof in this case). Everyday that the team showed up, all carried great smiles with positive team banter and a general sense of happiness being on site. This only happens when employees are treated well and with respect. We have dealt with numerous home projects in the past and can tell you this is a rarity. Will Saber Roofing be the lowest bid in your search? Probably not. Will they provide you the best quality and service? You bet.

I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.
