Worst experience at Burberry at Lenox. Wasted my 2341$ just because of that bitch Laila. She's the worst manager and person I have ever met. I chose a bag and she said it was the last bag so I requested her to ship me a new one and she shipped me the same display bag. Burberry customer service is horrible too, they will not help you with anything and tell us to go to the store and figure it out as you bought it from that store. I don't understand the low rating....this place has phenomenal sales people and it's not because they can sell...it's how they treat you when you have no money to buy anything in the store.... I grew up in this city and would frequent this mall not only as a teen but when I started working....I would come up here on the days I'm off and window shop and dream of the day I could afford the stuff I saw.... Burberry, Neiman, Prada...these were all the stores I would browse when I had no money to spend but one thing that I notice was the sales people here. They never sized me up and think...oh geeze this girl makes $200 bucks a week...she can't even afford a pair of socks that we sell...nope. The folks here would rattle off about their latest and greatest. They would let me hold some of the purses and show me the matching wallets....so years later when I did start making money and have the opportunity to buy Burberry...I chose this store...not because the store is better than say the one in NYC or LA but because the people were good to me when I was poor...now that's real class....thanks Burberry for being so good to me... read more

Burberry. I like Burberry but I am not in love with it. I lived in Los Angeles for years and frequented Rodeo Drive. I would get excited walking into Burberry. They had a wonderful shop on Wilshire Blvd., just west of Rodeo Dr. but that moved a while ago to a better location on Rodeo Dr. at Dayton Way, just across from the Two Rodeo shopping center. To me, Burberry is exceptional quality and classic style. I dress often as a biker (I ride a Harley); jeans, a t-shirt, a worn leather jacket. I do however need to fit in fashionably at the occasional event, dinner or meeting at City Hall. I find Burberry to be perfect. Upscale but not too flashy. The quality, workmanship and materials used are wonderful. When I pick up an article of clothing made by Burberry I respect it. My daily biker wear is often thrown on a floor at the end of the day but Burberry? Never. My Burberry items are hung neatly, and laundered promptly. I am so glad that Burberry has this shop in Lenox but so far, I don't get the excitement shopping here that I'd get in Beverly Hills. Shopping on Rodeo is an event and if done properly, possibly a sport. This shop nice. I've never had any problems here. Wonderful clothing, sharp looking staff. read more

So.. it is to be expected that when you stroll into one of these boutiques.. they will give you the once over. My advice is to come in looking like you mean business. I came looking all business. I was on a mission. Most men are like this when they go shopping. I saw it on a magazine and that is the one I want and bada bing, bada boom and done. However, on this occasion, I took the opportunity to test the service here. Oh yes, I was practicing my 'assertive' customer voice. What I have found was indeed surprising. The bigger of an 'ass-ertive' customer, they happier the salesperson is. It is their mission to 'make it happen'. So, please, give them a challenge. Ask them to show you everything. Make em reach for the highest item on the highest shelves... They love it. At the end of it all. I got what I wanted and off I went. I would totally come back here again. I guess it helps when you work on commission, because the sales people in this store were on me when I entered in. But, I like this location, because they also know when to drop back and let you browse, I know they arent really worried about shoplifters because they have two armed security guards that guard the front and back of this small store. Located at Lenox Square on the main level near Neimans. Im probably guilty of this myself, but its shameful when people talk about high end stores and then complain about the pricing. Uhhhhh...you're buyin designer goods and while yes, you can compare them to the GAP...it still somehow isnt the same. Case in point, sometimes, I throw all rece$$ion concerns out the window and buy myself what I want me to have. This was one of those days. I now have a Burberry scarf fetish...and like I told my daughter about her True Religion jeans, of couse this isnt something I could splurge on every pay period, but I could treat myself once or twice a year and no one would be the wiser. I was actually assisted by two sales people, I went online first so that I would know what I wanted when I got there and wouldnt fall for the ooo and ahhh shopping experience. They didnt have the scarf in the color I wanted, so they offered to order it for me. So I mentioned that if I ordered it online it would have free shipping, Michael told me that they didnt do free shippin in the store, but he would see if they could match the discount some way in the store. Another guy, I forgot his name, but helpful also even called a couple of stores to see if my purchase would ship from a store or from their distrbuition center. Depending on where it ships from you can have 1-5 days delivery time In the end, I still ended up leaving scarfless....as it kinda takes the fun out of impulse purchases if you have to wait 5 days for the UPS guy to show up with it...but I did find out that their return policy isnt as bad as mentioned before... all items of course must be in unused condition with the tags attached within 30 days. Online items can be returned to the store to be returned, but you have to wait for your credit to appear back on your card after the warehouse receives the return back from the store, but you will save on the return shipping. It my theory that if you wear something and take it back, then you shouldnt be shocked if it isnt allowed to be returned. All in all...I went in wanting a scarf that was $195 and left coveting one that was $450...which is another reason I left scarfless.....because Im all for splurgin...but $500 for a jersey knit scarf just isnt happening anytme soon in my world. I LOVE Burberry, so this review has absolutely NOTHING to do with my adoration for Christopher Bailey and the rest of the Burberry team. This review solely concerns the staff at this particular location, which I will never visit again. Good Lord. I have never encountered such a snobby and narcissistic saleswoman in my life. I mean, "HELLO - this shopping trip is about me! Wait. Isn't it? It's not? It's about you? Huh..." I was very close to splurging on a beautiful trench coat, but after hanging out in the fitting room, decided against the purchase because... 1. The woman made me feel very self-conscious about my body. She actually tried on the same coats I was trying on, and would babble about how she's a size 2 and, after looking me up and down, surmised that maybe I'm larger than her. Um... 2. The woman is actually quite attractive and thin, but OMG - I don't care how hot you look in that coat! She styled the coat on herself, took down her hair, took off her glasses, and freaking twirled around in the fitting room, gazing at herself in the mirror. Are you freaking kidding me?! 3. She snobbily told me all about how great the fabric is... As a fashion merchandising graduate, I'm pretty sure I know more about fabric than she does, so after I corrected her because I was tired of hearing her blabber on about something she clearly has no knowledge about, she got... snobbier. 4. Very, very pushy about making a sale. 5. My time with this woman did not assure me that I wanted to spend upwards of $1500 on a coat. It's possible that I just got very unlucky because I met the manager, who was rather pleasant. But, she was not the primary contact I had, and obviously, I sadly walked out empty-handed. read more

Last year My Heman bought me a gorgeous Burberry watch. He took me over to Burberry at the Galleria in Houston and let me pick out the one I wanted. I still love it, but after a few months the band started tearing and now I can't wear it. This seems simple enough to resolve, right? Buy a new band. Well, apparently it's not quite as easy as that. It's not much more detailed, though... They don't stock the one for my watch and it needs to be ordered from New York. Okay, call New York, find out how much it will cost, and then let me know so I can pay and provide shipping information. That's all I was trying to do and I was never able to make it happen. My first visit was without my watch. I just thought I could stop in and tell them which one I needed and they could place the order. Nope. The guy at Burberry said I needed to come back with the watch. Okaaayy.... Later that month I was in Lenox Square again on a Sunday afternoon. I remembered to bring the watch this time. My boyfriend found someone that said she could help. She was very friendly and said she didn't need to see the watch to order the band, although having it in the store makes it less likely the wrong item number is communicated. The associate told me that she was going to call New York on Monday and would get back to me once she knew more about its availability. She called me back as promised, but I wasn't available to take the call and she left a message. The next day I returned her call and left a message since she wasn't working that day. I also provided my email address because that's how I'd prefer to handle this transaction. She sent me an email the following day and this where things started going downhill. Associate- "I just arrived back at the store and received a note that you had called me in regards to a watch that we discussed. Just following up with you. How can I assist?" Me - "Seriously?! I need a new watch band. What else would you be assisting me with?" Associate - "I see hundreds of clients a day and unfortunately do not remember everyone's name. All I was given was your e-mail and told to contact you about a watch. Apologies. The strap is 40, buckle 30. Buckle is optional. Let me know how you want to proceed." Me- "Please have a manager contact me. That was the rudest, most unprofessional response you could have sent." Mark, the manager, called me and apologized for the bad experiences throughout this situation, I wasn't as bothered by the unnecessary steps taken to place a basic order. The associate's second email is what sent me over the edge. She "see[s] hundreds of clients a day" and her response made it clear that she doesn't know my name or who I am. Basically, I'm a number to her. The manager offered to order the band and pay for all costs as consideration for my troubles. I didn't want to get a free watch band. I'm okay with paying for it. I just want to be treated well and professionally. July 20, 2013 was the last day I spoke with the manager and he said my watch band would be in stock in about a week. Two weeks later I hadn't heard back, so I left a message for Mark. I never heard back, so I wrote a letter to the manager that was hand delivered and sent USPS on August 12, 2013. My written request was simply asking for an update on my watch band. No response from Mark or anyone else as of today. Hopefully he'll get one of the two letters and I'll be able to start wearing my favorite watch soon. read more

The quality of Burberry merchandise and the level of customer service you receive, has completely nose dived in the past few years. $1300 for a trench coat?!?! It's not worth it. I have compared it to every other brand out there, and you are paying $900 for the Burberry name! It is no better quality than another $300 or 400 trench coat found in Nordstroms, Saks or Neimans (not to mention a $50 at Gap). I purchased a pair of espadrilles there last summer and they only lasted two summers. My Nine West shoes last longer than that. As for customer service, it is worth noting that they have a ridiculously strict return and exchange policy. Once you have removed the tags of your merchandise and worn it, they will NEVER take it back! You could have purchased it two days before and have the receipt, but their only concern is whether or not they can resell it. In addition, I have noticed that I am treated differently depending on how I am dressed when I enter the store. When I am messy and post-workout, I am virtually ignored. When I come in business attire and/or wearing "designer" clothing, I am greeting immediately. I think this is shameful, and I think I am officially over Burberry's British invasion. read more

I was excited that I wasn't judged off the bat. Maybe it was because they had a younger female working the front. I came in with jeans, boat shoes, and a button up polo shirt. My brother was wearing shorts, flip flops, and and button up shirt. This is typical college wear at USC. We're used to being judge at high end stores in other states (NC, NY, MA), so I was surprised by the interaction and service we recieved. Again, it might be because of the younger female. I wish I could remember her name. We were greeted by all the employees upon our arrival. My brother was looking for a bow tie and was quickly, but gracefully informed they didn't carry any and was shown to the collection of ties. Though I had no intention of spending anything, I decided to go ahead and get my mom a name brand purse for her collection while we were in the area. We left to go to the Louis Vutton store because that's a very recognizable brand in the US. The Louis Vutton employees were too busy kissing up to the customers who were wearing their product on them. All they had to do was let us examine a bag to get an easy 10min sale. We weren't getting any attention, so we went back to Burberry. My brother made a joke about Lewis Vutton upon our return to the Burberry store. This lead to a conversation about Hangover and Hangover 2 with the female in the front. We ended up returning to this employee after viewing their products to ask her questions about the material, quality, and available color and designs. It was nice to get this much attention without having to flaunt money in front of them. Her service and down to earth personality is probably the reason why I ended up spending $1,200 when I had no intentions of buying anything earlier. We usually walk out of stores when we feel like we're not getting any love or if we feel pressured to buy anything. We were definitely loved here, and the employees did a good job of not making us feel like outsiders. read more

Complaints!! Size, Selection, Service. Don't appreciate the Lenox store, go to a flagship store, or online like most people do. Cellphones, really?? Attempt too think!! Many customers live a great distance & shop through a sales person on a CELLPHONE. This is 2017, the store is NOT a plantation, servitude went with Lincoln. Stop the attitude, grab on to reality & be GRATFUL you have the means to live above everyone else. I have a buyer whom helps with sizing, & new merchandise that I may be interested in. She is thoughtful, kind, generous & a hard worker! 95% of my interaction with her & other staff at the store are exactly the same. I believe this is the reflection of the store manger. NEEDING MORE STOCK! While in Lenox today, I decided to check out the Burberry store, It is very small and does not have near the selection of the outlet store in Dawsonville. The outlet store has a variety of different items including jackets, boots and other accessories. This store had a very limited selection of bags and and costume watches. Although I am not a fan of their signature items (too obvious), I did purchase a lovely sterling silver charm bracelet several years ago. I wear it everyday and I have not seen another one like it. I wish they would create more unique and unexpected pieces. I did examine their leather bags, (without the signature plaid), but was not pleased because the bag had no outside pockets, the zipper was not smooth, and although the bag was a very light aqua, the zipper was more of a navy blue, and why would you not put feet on the bottom of a satchel styled bag? Not okay! Quality and details matter especially at this price point. Never assume that because it carries a designer label, that it is quality; Check it out!! Great customer service! This particular Burberry store at Lenox Mall has no selection at all!!!! The mens section has like 10 shirts total and No sizes!! You are better off purchasing Burberry clothes at saks because they have more stuff. The customer service is terrible, they get way too close and are super pushy. I think these people forget they work in the store, not own it, LOL. Also when I was looking for sizes I felt like they thought I was making a mess even though I was being really careful not to mess up the stack of sweaters! Today I was at the Burberry store in Lenox purchasing a gift for someone and the salesperson asked me what's my budget, I told her I did not have one. She proceeds to tell me how expensive the clothes were and maybe she can show me some less expensive items because the store is expensive. I was offended, I just didn't understand why she was focused on price when I was looking for a particular style. I have to say, I'm not normally a luxury shopper, and I was a bit intimidated to be shopping at Burberry, but Joel who helped me out was so sweet and warm. I was offered a drink, which I declined, but I thought was a lovely gesture. He wasn't pushy at all. He knew their line really well and when I told him my biggest concern was that wanted a fabric that wouldn't hold dog hair, we shared a chuckle and he steered me to a lovely cotton sateen. When I tried on a trench, he helped me figure out the right style and fit and volunteered that they would happily tailor the jacket for free so that it would fit me perfectly. I was very happy with the experience, and I wouldn't think twice about going in again just to shop. read more
