However, I wanted to give a nice…read moreshout-out to the Glendale Branch, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Court Services Division for giving me clear directions on how to deal with this type of Fix-It ticket. Much clearer than the convoluted instructions given on the Super Court notice itself, and the man on the phone was exceptionally nice - and bonus - he was a human being who answered and not a maze of Courthouse recordings that ended in oblivion. For many tickets, if it's a fix it for a vehicle part, most Sheriff's departments have "Inspection Stations" to ensure that you've gotten what you promised to fix fixed. For registration Fix-Its, usually you can mail it in. Thanks Glendale branch for being nice.

Office of the Registrar-Recorder is on Burton Way in Beverly Hills. This office is an extension to…read morethe BH courthouse. Parking on Redford Drive is free for 1 hour and there are limited metered parking spots. As many times as I've been here, this here is my first review. Most of the posted reviews are from people who were newly married and registered their coupledom commitment at this office and had pleasant experiences...because well, they just got married and are looking to live life happily ever after ...and I say Good Luck that...lol. The high divorce statistics are against you, maybe or maybe not, you'll be back in this courthouse to probably file for Divorce :( This office has nice helpful staff, but never enough pre and post COVID. This office is where you also pay for all the fines, court fees and parking related offenses and penalties. With all the parking and 'alleged' speeding tickets I've gotten, I feel I'm supporting the parking department :(( Out in the hallway of this office are a couple computers for public use to manage your case/file/violation online, and if the computer system is not down and is functioning/operational, I suggest you manage it online and PRINT a receipt for your PROOF. That saves you time, a trip to this recorder's office and shortens the long wait time here. While in line, sometimes a staffer will help and advise you and sometimes will help resolve your issue on the spot. With the ongoing COVID pandemic, most municipal courthouse and offices are closed, but I am glad this office is open even if hours are limited.

I then called my insurance company, where I learned that they were in the middle of processing the claim. When I called the fire dept's billing office to explain this, an extremely rude representative started yelling at me about how they had already billed the insurance company and started demanding immediate payment. I had to repeat myself multiple times before she finally understood me. Two weeks later, they sent me a final notice bill. Really? You get to spend a year and a half f******* around and then don't even give me 30 days to pay? I understand that emergencies happen, but just be prepared for a headache when the bill arrives.
