We were looking for more than a court house wedding but not a full blown wedding and this place was it! From the moment we walked in to the day of our wedding ceremony the staff was amazing. We opted for a small group of guests to join us and it was beautiful. We had the venue to ourselves which made it even more special. This experience was wonderful. Josh and his wife, who own the business, go the extra mile to make things special and sentimental. They truly care about your union and how they represent the signing/ceremony. Josh was kind and understanding and made sure everything was just right. He also contacted us after hours to make sure everything was in place. For anyone curious, it's a very fast process. Signing takes 15 minutes, ceremony up to 10 mins (or however long your vows are) You can bring family and friends and they will help you with loved ones on FaceTime and setting your camera up. We decided at the last moment to get married in 2024, and Same Day Marriage was able to fit us in on the very last day of the year. Joshua, our officiant, met us at the chapel, which was very tastefully decorated, and took us unhurriedly and graciously through the ceremony, including making time for us to pronounce the vows we had written especially for one another. Joshua's son Lenard was our witness, and also held our camera to take video of the entire event, which turned out very well. Weeks later, we had a few follow-up questions while waiting for the official marriage license copies from the County Clerk, and Joshua promptly and correctly advised us on how to handle each one. The Clerk's office takes a while to generate the certified copies, but they arrived as expected, proving that all filings were done by the officiant, just as required. While a marriage completed in one day might not be filled with extravagant gestures and staging, we never felt rushed or deprived of the solemnity that such an occasion requires. If you need to be married and don't want to wait, you'd do well to consider this service. read more

So with the idea, I hope we are set forth with the biggest luck starting our marriage because it was pouring rain all day long. This place is spectacular for what they do! They are extremely professional and great at this craft of getting you married. The whole process is over in an hour with the longest part being the application portion. I'd say if you're going this route of getting married, be prepared to come with your new married name set. Having your marriage certificate legally changed when you get married saves you a lot of hectic paperwork process of changing your name through the courts later costing an additional $900 later on. Overall, the best part of this place is that you only pay $500 to be able to bring up to 10 people and they provide an officiant that will marry you and take care of all paperwork here and therefore after. The best decision we ever made was coming here!! We really wanted to do our civil wedding while our family was visiting and before our destination wedding. I researched for a few days because the places around us were not great and too many comments about messing up couple's names on the documents. I kept searching and was willing to pick a place even if it was further from us, as long as the documents were done correctly. I finally found Same Day Marriage AND it had 5 stars. I read many reviews before contacting them. Let me just say, Bella was just AMAZING! She was so thorough and so easy to communicate with. We booked 3 weeks in advance and everything went so smoothly the day of. She made sure all our names and info were correct before we signed everything. She is extremely efficient, so nice and funny! We even received our marriage license in 4 weeks!! As far as the place goes, don't let the exterior fool you. The interior is cute with lots of different photo ops and actually looks like a place to get married (way better than getting married in a court room). They were also able to accommodate our 20 guests, which is another reason why we chose them. Joshua was our officiant and he was truly the best!! He made us all feel so comfortable, made us laugh and let me choose the song I wanted to walk down the aisle with. The whole experience was wonderful and our immediate family had a great time as well. 150% recommend this place!!!!! I would do it again!
